Family Pictures. I read a review so I knew the "secret" when I bought the book. It didn't spoil my enjoyment of the story because I wanted to see how it played out. An enjoyable read.

Mommy lit. Loved Jane Green's early work, but it's morphed into the extraordinarily dull "mother love conquers all" genre. Women find their true selves as mommies; men are good or bad depending on whether they play the proper supporting role. (Pun intended.) Non-mommies are largely 2D caricatures with expensive handbags. Plots that used to hold surprises have turned to largely predictable mush. Decent storytelling skills remain. Please, get out of picturesque rural Connecticut and exercise a bit of creativity!

Really great. I feel like out of all her books this is the best. I was interested the whole time. It was a very easy read. I read it in one night! Perfect chick lit!!

Enjoyed it!. My first time reading a book from this Author, although I listened to the audio version. The narrators voice was very pleasant to listen to and spoke very well each characters voice tones. This is actually my first time reading a fiction story, I read historical and non fiction as a rule but something about this stories blurb sounded so interesting. I enjoyed it very much. An interesting plot line that kept me wondering the whole story through

Hard to finish. I love chick lit with a twist. This one had a twist that I saw coming a mile away. Then once the "secret" was revealed (which was fairly early on), the rest of the book just dragged on. And the writing actually started to deteriorate - it got really bad. I usually love her books but this one was disappointing.

so contrived.... the writing is meh...The ending is the best part of this book, and anyone who didn't see what this "terrible secret" was coming from a mile away, should stick with Dr. Seuss.

Family Pictures. Easy read, good plotline altho the hookups in the end might be a bit to programmed…. But I am a huge fan of relationship chick lit and Jane Green always fills the bill…….She’s one of my top 10 for sure.

Really?. This book is lovely if you have a second grade reading level and like stories that are completely ridiculous. Every single female character in this book is chock full of desperation and naïveté. Add some eating disorders, alcoholism, and shocking (errr....or not) secrets and you have a terrible, predictable, and poorly written waste of money. Fail. Big time.

Fabulous read!. I loved this book! The characters are so different and likable at the same time. I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to scream, laugh and cry! Thank you to the author for a wonderful story!
