Pretty cool!. I usually enjoy a good ghost story but this one had a pretty cool and a little but bizarre twist! Looking forward to the next in the series!

The Medium. I really enjoyed reading this book to the point that I couldn’t put it down. The suspense kept me reading and guessing to the end. I only wish Jacob’s story could have been finished or maybe it will be in the next book.

Lovely book. It satisfies the craving for a supernatural romance without pointless sex (probably because this is meant for adolescents, but no matter). There were a very few written mistakes that should have been cleaned up by an editor, but they didn't detract from the story whatsoever. The plot was enjoyable, but I'm confused over the reason why the villains needed an outsider to summon the demon if it could have been done themselves; I know it was a tool to involve the protagonists, but it didn't make sense. Overall though, I am interested in reading the next book in the series to uncover the mysteries left from this one.

Wonderful. If you love historic fiction with a supernatural twist, then I can promise that you will love this one. Very well written and the characters have been so engaging that you wish you actually knew them in person!

Coolbeans. This book was a pleasant surprise. There were some of laugh-out-loud moments that I'm sure went over some of the younger reader's heads. I quite like this author - not because of the characters (although I do like them enough) but for the her humor that shows up unexpectedly throughout the story. It was a decent read and I look forward to book 2.

The Medium. I found this book thoroughly engaging. It flowed well and contained excellent descriptions of the characters and the historical setting which drew me into the story as if I were a part of the actual story.

couldn't put it down!. excellent book! certainly better than some of the hardcovers i've purchased in a bookstore. the angst between the two main characters is written perfectly, and there is no annoying love triangle.

Medium. As the tittle says, this is a medium read. The characters are interesting, but the plot is too well signposted and the ability of the main dead people to move objects, too far away from anyone's experience of ghosts to make it believable. Not my favourite c.j archer book, but good enough to want to read the next one. I expect anyone really into literature would find the book a good teenagers read but quite a long way away from a masterpiece.

Highly recommend this. I really enjoyed this, couldn't put it down. Had to buy the next book (possession) straight away. It is just as fab.

Great read. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and plot line of this new series....have just finished and now downloaded CJ Archers next book "Possession"...someone else can cook dinner tonight!
