Fantastic advanced spanish. This program is great. The iPad book makes it easy for a student to study by him or herself, and the book itself is gorgeous. Having each and every sample sentence recorded by native speakers is a huge plus as students learn Spanish pronunciation.

The best in the business. This book has everything you need to speak Spanish. Not to regurgitate phrases. Not to only talk about certain things. But to really speak Spanish. You will have a mastery of grammar and vocabularly that will let you do whatever you want with the language. This book sets the standard for what Spanish learning ought to be.

ANNOYING BUG - ALWAYS updating. This book WAS great - I had it on both iPad and iPad Mini, but now EVERY (not an exaggeration) time I try to use it, there's an update and it is a s--l--o--w update. It MIGHT be great content, but I wouldn't know because every (not an exaggeration) time I try to open it, I get a message saying it won't "work" until I update. So I update and can read but then next time - same problem. Seriously frustrating - and it's too bad. Reinstall? Yeah, I tried that. Both devices. Grew old waiting for installation.

A Success!. Breaking the Barrier has made grammar interesting, not dry. It enables readers to learn the language without gaps in grammar and still enjoy it. Increíble! The visuals are incredible, especially the videos (cooking and more!). With this book you get grammar, conversational skills, and culture easy and fun. Amazing.

Culmination to a Great Series. After using Books 1 and 2 in this series, Book 3 really brought the entire program together. BTB stepped up its game with the cultural articles in this book, as well, which goes well as the reader (myself) becomes more comfortable with the Spanish language. I feel ready to travel to a Spanish-speaking country with the skills I’ve learned thanks to Breaking the Barrier!!

Never dreamed this was possible.. I use all three books in the series and could not be more pleased. Having everything one needs in a single beautiful package is incredible. I may never use a traditional textbook again.

Legendary!. The new 2015 update is breathtaking. I love all of the new audio of the sample sentences. It is great to click on each sentence to hear the native speakers. This great book just became legendary!

I love the curriculum as well as the engaging audio and video files found throughout. The latest updates really help to frame each lesson and make learning and teaching even easier.

Fantastic finale to the series. Started as a total beginner that knew “Hola,” to someone that can speak and understand a ton after completing the series! Highlights: 1. Vocabulary: Each chapter has vocabulary flashcards that you can use to easily memorize the words related to the theme of the chapter. Know a word? click the green check mark. otherwise, you just toss it back in the pile and try again. 2. Grammar: Each chapter emphasizes a particular aspect of sentence structure. The start of the book begins with the present tense. Later chapters teach you the preterite (past tense) and the imperfect tense. 3. Cultural information: Each chapter focuses on a country from Latin America. There are beautiful pictures and information about prominent culture figures. A must purchase for $14.99!
