Fantastic!!!!!. This book was an eye opener for many things I have learned in my years of working out. I believe its relevance is universal to anyone with some sort of fitness agenda. I am looking forward to purchasing the book "Bigger Leaner Stronger," and broadening my knowledge of muscle building, fat loss, and maintaining a healthy life style.

Must read. It's short, don't worry.. My eyes did this O_O!!!

Very helpful. Great book, with excellent points.

Good points, but.... There are a lot of good points that the author introduces to the reader, but does not get into much detail. This book is primarily a preview of his other book "Bigger, Leaner, Stronger."

Great high level look. Useful insights into the basics. There's enough info in this book to change poor thoughts and habits while pointing you to the specifics and how-to's found in his other books. Keep it up!

Full of BS. This book read just like a Scam! It first discredited everything else then told you what great info it was going to give you and then... You have to pay to get all the information. Typical scam.

Great book!. Really good! Been working out for 7 years and realized I’ve been doing a lot of things wrong and emphasizing my energy on the wrong places.

Great data. I must say, I really love the books Michael writes. I had read already two or three of them and then thought I’d just read a few other health books. The ones I read were complete crap, telling me I should eat nothing but grapefruit juice for three days...! I love how he backs up the statements he makes with scientific proof. Not like the other books I read. They promis things but you can’t understand why this would be the case and so it is harder to think with the data. Michael’s books are different. By the end of the book you can actually use what you read. Good work!

Great Read!. This was a great read and made me realize I was doing to much. A lot of points he hit on made me understand why I was actually losing muscle instead of gaining. Of course this is a precursor to a book, you didn't think you could walk into barns & noble and walk out without paying for a book did you? I for one will be purchasing his book and smiling at everyone staring at me and wondering why he looks so much better when I hardly see him in the gym! What's the secret?

Advertisement. Unfortunately this turned out to be a well crafted free book intended to only give the reader just enough information to motivate them to purchase the real deal book(s) by the Same author. Potential is well expressed, it does portray insight and reason applied to fitness. Maybe falling for this advertisement would be beneficial, there's only one way for me to find out...

Truth!. A lot of truth was shed over me on this book! Glad I read it. I will be reading bigger, leaner, stronger for sure !

Helpful book. Easy read and right to the point!

great for getting started. i tended to lean more on advice for working out from friends, magazines, and of course supplement shops. i wasted time and money on crap i didnt need. and this book gets you started in the correct direction. it shows you how to lose weight/ gain muscle, then will give you the option to buy a book that gives you meal plans and workouts. which is called Bigger, leaner, stronger. the book is $7. and that 7 bucks will teach you more than any magazine, supplement store, or idiot friend could any day.

People really do need to read this!. I read your book and a lot of the stuff I found I knew already, but people really need to read this book to have a better understanding that to lose weight cardio alone doesn't work and stop reading stuff out there that is just trying to spend your money. I believe you got to treat your body as a whole. Our body run and works together as one trying to keep us alive so it would make sense to workout and tie everything together as a team. Awesome book!

It's a motivator!. I used to be really lean and cut, now... You know, I'm not. I like how this book breaks down routines and gives us the science behind them. Gives me that extra little push of self confidence to get me where I want to be. I will be reading more from Michael for sure!

Amazing. No BS, straight forward answers and information. After 8 years in the army exercising daily and hitting the gym hearing garbage 'truths' with no real gains, this started me on an adventure to true gains that I, and my wife, have enjoyed!

Life Changer. It changed the way I view fitness and weightlifting. Good stuff.

The three "T's" lift.. The book is very helpful and right on point. I do have one request to put...to add workouts and or exercise routine and most of all the right guide to supplementation and food intake before and after workout. Excellent! Great stuff. More Power to you PAL!!!

Good!. Mike knows what he is talking about. As a PT myself I wanted to see if other fitness pros were on the same wave length and this guy is, cuts the BS and gives you simple and proven knowledge!

Excellent. Too often readers are left in the dark when it comes the topics of building muscle, gaining strength and losing weight. Finally, a book is out that tells readers what they need to hear in simple terms in ways which allow the reader to apply what they have learnt in their daily lives. So often we as viewers are lied to about how to gain muscle, get ripped or how to lose weight faster and quicker. Unfortunently, the vast majority of this information comes originally from companies that make their money by conning people into believing that supplements and drugs are the only way to achieve their dreams. No longer do you have to remain in the dark, no longer do you have to be lied to, deceived and have your dreams robbed of you. This book by Michael Matthews is incredibly accurate and to the point about muscle gain and weight loss and it is just a snippet of what you get in his other books. I strongly encourage you to purchase; The Shredded Chef, Bigger Leaner Stronger and Fit is the New Skinny as well as this book. They are all well worth reading and provide great inside into the fitness industry, while still focusing on how to achieve your goals and in terms of value for money, they are sold at a fraction of their worth, not even considering the number of years experience which Michael Matthews has weaves into his books.

Awesome!. A great concise version of Bigger Leaner Stronger: which I recommend you buy and read, and use Maximum Muscle as a handy little guide afterwards.
