Person elected to any public office Person applying for American citizenship High school junior and re-read as part of graduation requirement If only we could carry out his ideas this country would be proud, peaceful and plentiful again.

Great book. Everyone should read this. Fascinating read.

Awesome reading. Really enjoyed the common sense ideas proposed by the author. Common sense seems to be missing in Washington these days. One of the only ideas I really disagreed with was his proposal for flushing out insurgents in Iraq. You don't burn down the house to kill a rat. Other than that this book is a solid read and very enjoyable.

America the Beautiful. Excellent and thought provoking. Everyone, no matter what political arena you are in, should read this book with an open heart and an opened mind because America is Beautiful. Dr. Carson speaks from the heart and gives some excellent thoughts as to how we can keep her that way!

America the beautiful thru Dr. Carlson's view is informatative & inspiring. One of the most inspiring & informative books I have read to date. This book his life story mixed in with the state of our nation today. Trust me when I tell you that you will learn at least 4 to endless amounts of knowledge and of a true mans quest for success and his ideas on what is holding back our nation. Truth is a Light. Excellent book!! I learned many things about US history that I never knew. Extremely insightful and greatly admire Dr. Carson's boldness to hold to Gods truth. I enjoy how he uses logic to bring balance to the many talents of the people of this great nation.

Great Book. Finished this book today; just before Dr. Carson is scheduled to be on the news. This was a very easy read for me; I had expected a lot of ten and twenty dollar words. It is worth reading no matter what your political affiliation is. Carson/Rubio 2016?

Gifted Hands, America the Beautiful. it has been utmost refreshing to read the success story of Dr. Ben Carson. And it made me, a green card holder, very proud of the potential America still offers. At the same time it made me again hopeful that "change is on the way" should Dr. Carson decide to enter the political scene and offer his many talents to better the direction America is taking. Great Read. In this book, Ben Carson provides many thought-provoking ideas about our current situation in the United States. He is able to use our history as a nation to provide possible solutions to problems and even make predictions about the future. Ben often draws insight from his past experiences in poverty and his rise to success. He understands the necessity and value of hard work and motivation, and shows the role that it played in creating one of the most influential nations this world has ever seen. Most importantly, Ben remembers to find inspiration from the Bible, the same book that inspired the Founding Fathers over 200 years ago.

Good book.. Very intelligent man. We need people like this in Washington. Somebody that is not a politic, but a problem solver. Someone that is willing to seek to understand the democrats point of view and work with them in a friendly manner, but never deviate from their core principals.

Inspirational!. Dr. Carlson, thank you for your inspirational life story centered on values that build character and for your faith in God. Both Black and White youngsters need role models like you. I will get my grandchildren to read your books to learn about what hard work provides and to appreciate the values upon which our nation was founded.

Book of Hope. This was an outstanding book that I am glad that I had the opportunity to read in what short time that I have left. It was a historical book of not only the author but of American history. The book also cited many references that I plan to carry on and read. The author also tied history to current days events and showed a correlation, which was very refreshing also. I would highly recommend this book.

Overly Partisan. Ben Carson is one of the brightest people on this planet and I would expect an equally intellectual book from him. Unfortunately this is just some partisan bible worshipping nonsense. It provides no real solutions to our problems.
