Funky Franny. I found this book to be boring and tedious! The main character Franny was lackluster and was always in a funk! In no way did I relate to her or sympathize with her! I really wanted to like the book since I always enjoy Lauren Graham but this was a real snoozer!! On the other hand, I do think it could be made into a fun movie!! Given the right script and actress, the story could be exciting and interesting to watch unfold! But Lauren Graham should not give up her day job!!

Shallow!!. I was trying to keep reading & reading hoping to get to the bottom of the story but it was a rather disappointment for me. There's no in-depth to the story plot.. So blah & bleep just like the ending! I wish I'd wAited for it to be borrowed in the library:(

Romance. I loved the book and am annoyed it ended. Impressed by Lauren's ability to write a good book. Hopefully there's a sequel i'll have to buy to give this story a closure.

Fun Read. I'm a guy. I'm reading this because my girlfriend and I both chose books to read this summer, agreeing that we would read each others choice of literature. From a guy's perspective, this isn't a twilight girl book. It's a good, funny read that I enjoyed! Author did a good job helping the reader understand Franny and all the problems a girl goes through...even though I'm not a girl and couldn't relate in that manner. Good quick read. I'll recommend it. 5/5 for accomplishing the goals the book needed to do.

Pass. This book drags on and on with no real plot line. It is not funny, and mostly boring or read. It mostly feels like you're stuck next to some lady on a bus who won't shut up. The gimmick of the day planner is awful as well. This isn't a novel, it's a how to make it in the business guide probably only interesting to struggling actors. It has no end.

Great Read!. I had so much fun reading this book. I couldn't put it down! I hope we get another from Lauren Graham soon!

Someday someday. Enjoyed it. I saw Lauren on a late night show talking about her book and fell in love with her honest, down to earth manner. Her book was insightful to someone who has only been in the business world and never a part of the arts. Great job Lauren.

Loved it!. This book was so refreshing, and, shall I say it, authentic, that I had a hard time putting it down. Lauren Graham's main character - a young woman striving to reach her ultimate dream of becoming a full-fledged actress while finding out what she is really made of - was down-to-earth, funny, and quite the underdog to route for. The book is encouraging to all those with lofty dreams who are constantly faced with the hurdles of self-doubt and the obstacles of life. It also made me feel better about the many self-proclaimed deadlines I've set for myself. :) More please!

What happened???. I kept waiting for it to get good or something to happen. It's a cute story but more like reading the diary of someone with a boring life and then the story just stopped! It was as if I was reading a sample and it was time to download the book but it was actually the end of the book. I even scrolled back because I thought I had missed something.

Amazing, inspirational story by Lauren Graham. Loved it!!!

Funny!. Being a fan of hers I bought the book & wasn't disappointed. It's funny, warm & full of heart., much like Lauren seems to be from interviews I've seen. From the beginning you sympathize w/ the main character and I must say she reminded me a bit of Lorelai Gilmore which to me is good because I love and miss that show. I couldn't help but root for Franny and hope she gets a real acting job! Overall a fun, light hearted read infused with Lauren's sharp, wicked sense of humor. I highly recommend it.

Someday,someday,maybe. Very well written. Quirky and humorous just like the author in her series, Gilmore Girls and Parenthood. Hopefully, she will continue to write more novels. Seemed quite autobiographical.

Amazingly addictive, I couldn't put it down!. Love love love this book... It grabs you right from the first page, hours later I was still in the same spot just reading "one more" chapter. This is a beautifully written coming of age story that not only is relatable but inspiring... Lauren Graham's remarkable awe-inspiring talent on screen transfer to her pen and paper, she certainly doesn't disappoint!! Hoping for a sequel to be able to tagalong on Franny's adventures in LA... This quickly has become one of my favourite books, one that I have already re-read once and will many more times I am sure!!
