Keeps me going. The book first of all got me back to reading but also inspired me to keep on with my education to become a nurse.
Loved it. I really liked this book. I recently decided on applying to nursing school, and have some understandable worries about if I’ll be strong enough, and if I can handle the difficulties of the job. This book shows a variety of stories: the heroic, the mundane, the heartbreaking. Reading it allowed me to imagine not where I may start out, but where I hope to end up. I will carry these stories with me through nursing school and far into my career.
New Nurse. I gave this book to myself as a gate way back into reading. Being a nurse I wanted no time wasted on fluff.so read a nurse book. It was on the last page I realize we nurses are just people whom happen to be nurses.
