TBH. This book was not for me. I appreciate the genre just disagree with the author’s need to foul every page Eleuthera expletives.

Just okay. Storyline was good but writing was clunky and distracting. Too much showing and not telling and blocks of unrealistic dialogue.

Eh. Got this from the free series starters. The relationship seemed forced. The sex scenes although lurid made me laugh because it was so text book corny. And the heroine was absurdly stubborn and for a cop was practically ignorant of everything around her and didn't try to learn about her new environment. She was like a square peg the author stuffed in a round hole. It just didn't fit and I found myself skipping pages to get closer to the end. It's a shame because the backup characters and the plot had lots of promise. I won't be reading any more from this author as this book really put me off her writing.

Love It. Hate that it ended. Really wanted more.

Has promise, lacks intensity.. As a huge fan of paranormal stories, especially romance, this one caught my eye. I was highly intrigued by the plot, even though it was not new. However, the author jumped right into the sexual tension and mentioned it on. Every. Single. Page. It was not always appropriate, which the author also seemed to realize but the dialogue was corny and unbelievable, and overall I felt like I was reading the OUTLINE of a book, or a rough draft. This would have been a fantastic read if he characters had, well, stayed in character and interacted with one another in a believable way.

Captives you. Well written and interesting story. 😯 just between conversations made you laugh 😍sound hilarious 😆 but very captivating that’s keeps you reading 📖👵🏻📚🥰💭I think the Dark Embrace of Kade invading you. Well Recommended 📚💭💕👏👍📖📖👵🏻👵🏻❤️

Ridiculous unbelievable story. Yeah. Made it through six chapters barely. I'm sorry but this is a ridiculous story. Syd is 28 and a detective. I don't think so. She bosses around a wolf and vampire alpha? Yeah right. Ridiculous. I'm hoping she's the next victim in the ritual. I did not like any of the characters. The story was too unbelievable for me.

Repeat. Yeah it's a good book, but. Xavier's story is way too similar to Marcellus and Niklaus from Vampire Diaries. Like identical...

Aaaaamazing. Loved this book, had a touch of everything, and the perfect amount of "you know what" lol! For a book I just ran across, it was amazing!! Now on to the next!!

Fun Weekend Escape.. I found this book a lovely read. The basic story doesn't seem to be anything new, but I love her spin on it. I was able to fall in love with some of the characters. Looks like I'll be reading the series. xx

Can't wait to read More.. Great story and great characters. The style seemed a bit jumpy and distorted but it's worth getting past that to get to know these characters.
