Not what I expected. It is everything you should expect from Allie Brosh. Adorable, hilarious, on point, and shockingly relatable in almost every way. Supporting her is worth every cent. I just can't stave off a bit of disappointment. I expected to be...surprised? Impressed beyond belief? I definitely expected more, I think. But at the same time, that's not Allie's fault. Get the book.

Allie is back. Read her book. It will make you think, laugh, and maybe even puddle up a time or two. I loved this book and want mooooar!

Love for Hyperbole and a half. The internet owes Allie Brosh a huge debt as a meme maker. I owe her a huge debt for helping normalize depression. I also owe her a huge debt for giving me my go to laugh out loud story about Kenny Loggins. Whenever I need the endorphins...I hit up the Jesus was a huge Kenny Loggins fan story. Thank you Allie!

Only displays in landscape. The book is obviously meant to be displayed in portrait mode but only displays in landscape. It is confusing to read in landscape. Wish I didn't purchase. Try another ebook format.

An Honest Approach to Talking About Your Feelings. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Fans of Brosh’s work in her webcomic of the same name will find some old favorites here, as well as some new material. If you’re new to Hyperbole and a Half, you’re in for a great time. Ever struggled with depression? This book has something for you in it. Ever felt like you were entirely sure you knew what you were doing with your life? Allie’s yellow-cone-haired protagonist can relate. Ever found yourself cornered in your own home by a homicidal goose? No? Well, do you want to read about someone who has? Great — buy this book (it even has pictures of the event to prove that it happened). If you’re not the kind of person who’s okay with talking openly about topics that make many people feel uncomfortable (including depression and suicidal ideation) then this book may not be for you. Otherwise, you’re in for a great read.

Too many F-bombs. Depressing book. Appears to be written for those suffering from depression. Too many F-bombs; lazy writing. The high number of good reviews sadly reflects the dumbing down of America.
