Awesome read!. Carson is on point on every issue. He lays out a great case for change needed in this country, and a plan for that change. Must read.

Excellent.. Wonderful book, highly recommend. The people who dislike this book are either persons with racial hatred, or persons who are so politically biased and will attack anyone who doesn't say that Obama is the best president America has ever had.

High expectations not delivered. I saw the good doctor on CNN and bought the book. I just do not "get it" about all the religion and slamming people who are not religious. History has shown time and again ethics and morality come from good parenting, peers, and just plain knowing right from wrong. Also, I think the good doctor should re-read the constitution and books on the founding fathers. There was a reason they made America a secular country! Very disappointing read from such a learned person. His discussion on education was interesting. It would be great if the culture in public education in large cities made going to school a safe rewarding experience. It was wonderful that the author was successful but unfortunately the majority of inner city children will not be so lucky.

One Nation. Very brilliant writing. Dr. Ben Carson speaks from his heart. Enjoyed the book immensely. My spirit was uplifted from reading about this faith filled, GOD fearing individual. Dr. Ben Carson's mother loved her family and wanted only the best for them, and the best is what was accomplished. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Don't pay attention to low raters. The ones rating this one star are being paid by Hillary Clinton to attempt to get her book above this. Very good book Mr. Carson.

One Nation. A brave and courageous treatise on freedom and liberty in America! Ben Carson has wisdom and a great vision for the greatest country of all time. Beware of those who would destroy what so many have sacrificed and died for. This book should be a textbook for middle schools and high schools and colleges throughout the land! Dr Carson would be a great leader and possibly a great president for this nation!

Pedestrian. Apparently, the good old days were moral ones, like when we allowed children to work and didn't have the minimum wage. After all, the market should dictate those things, right? If someone wants to be an indentured servant, then that's freedom. This isn't even intellectual conservatism; this is dumbed down historical revisionism at its worst.

One Nation. THIS MAN MUST BECOME THE PRESIDENT!!!

Common Sense. The title says it all. Of course it is biased (why do people get shocked by that, it's written by a man with conservative biblical views) But if you take the time to read and understand you can see the points and solutions he gives. And I must say, he gives incredible points to unnecessary problems.

Average at Best. I knew little about the author but wanted to find out more about the man so I read this book. Turned out to be an average read at best. He's guilty of doing what he criticizes others for - identifying problems without offering real practical solutions. He offers a lot of good sounding rhetoric but not many quality answers.

Path to freedom. This was a very good book but I didn't like it as well as I did America The beautiful. This book was to much of an autobiography and too much in line with being a school text book. I am looking for guidance in pointing out all the wrongs of our country and what needs to be done to fix those wrongs. I would also like some help in pointing out who , personally, would be good candidates to replace the trash in Washington now and put us back on the path of our forefathers. We need to save our country for our children's sake.

Some good concepts, but biased. I believe Dr. Carson to be sincere as he speaks of his love for America. While he seems to want more respectful dialogue between the dominant political parties, i.e. Republicans and Democrats, I find his bias against Democrats off-putting. He counsels us against name-calling, but throughout the book refers to those with whom he disagrees as "bullies." Last time I checked, that is name-calling. He also oversimplifies complex issues. The national budget is not the same as a home budget. Some general principles remain, but the ordinary U.S. Citizen does not have to concern himself with the valuation of his currency against that of China or other developed nations. Finally, his arguments are sometimes inconsistent. He suggests across-the-board cuts until Obama applied across the board cuts during sequestration. Then the very thing he had advocated he criticized in the President calling it "gamesmanship." It is not a book for everybody because of its strong conservative bias. But his chapters on the importance of education and morality do deserve consideration. For that reason, I would encourage thoughtful persons to read it and glean what they can.

Must read!. Great book! Was very impressed.

Terrible. Another spinoff of the fox network. Very biased, non factual, and typical of a paid spokesman. Dr. Carson, stick to medicine. It's obvious you don't know how global markets work.

Every American Must Read. This is by far the greatest book I have ever read. It makes no difference what political affiliation you are, it is a must read for the left and right wing. Everything Dr. Carson speaks of is common sense, fair, and is backed by facts from our world's history. This book has awaken me and has truly helped me understand our society, the direction it must go in, and the steps we must take to bring our country back to how the founding fathers created it. Thank you Dr. Carson for enlightening me and the millions of Americans around the nation. We can save this country and we will.

One of the best book. Don't listen to the low comments they some of them don't even read the book but one of the best book I read

Cheap shot. Here is a doctor writing about politics, under the guise of a non-partisan critic. I am a doctor as well, and I have seen nothing but good coming from Obamacare. People are insured, feel more secure and more able to work, and are helping to make this country great again after the recent struggles of international war. This book tries to slow the progress we are making, which is shameful.

One Nation. I know Ben Carson now and realize that he is running for President unselfishly to return to society what has been given to him, wisdom.

Why all the Racism?. why are so many people angered so deeply by Dr. Carson? it really makes no sense some of the name calling in these "reviews". it is horribly offensive.

Amazing read!!. Dr. Carson offers solutions for many of the nations problems by using common sense. For anyone who wants to see the potential of what America could one day be, you should read this novel.

"Godless government"???. Apparently the author was home sick during American history class... I think what he meant was our government was founded as a nation of laws and a set of ideals -not religion. Thats whats wrong with todays over-cooked religious zealot baby boomers. They just make it up according to their fears. If you could care less about what America really is...then buy this authors babble.

One Nation. An inspired book by a noble man who is destined to save our constitution and with the backing of the people of the United States of America return us to the intended freedoms of the great men who authored the constitution.

Great Book!. This is the third book I've read by Dr. Carson. I've read "Think Big", "America the Beautiful", and "One Nation", they were all great books!

Carson for President!!. I have read all of Ben Carson's books and I expect nothing but brilliance from this next one because that's what he is....brilliant! I can't stand politics but if anyone can fix this mess I believe Dr. Carson can and will. I'm looking forward to reading his common sense approach to complicated issues.

No, with a side of not gonna happen.. We'll be seeing this moron run for president, but I want to know who paid for all these stars. This is a horrid book, preachy at best, if you ignore al historical inaccuracies... Avoid this tripe.
