Codex: Inquisition (Enhanced Edition) Book Summary

The Inquisition is the most powerful organisation within the Imperium. Bound by no Imperial law or authority, its agents – Inquisitors – operate in a highly secretive manner and answer only to themselves. Inquisitors use whatever means are necessary in order to safeguard the Imperium from heretics, mutants and aliens. It is not without good reason that Inquisitors are known as witch-hunters and torturers, but so great is their power that Inquisitors can order the destruction of an entire world if it is deemed necessary.

This codex details Inquisitors and the henchmen warbands that they assemble to face the dangers that threaten Mankind. From the Daemon-purging Ordo Malleus to the anti-psyker specialists of the Ordo Hereticus, this codex contains everything you need to collect and field the forces of the Inquisition in games of Warhammer 40,000.

About This Edition:
This is an interactive edition of Codex: Inquisition, and includes quick-links to special rules and wargear as well as the ability to view the book's stunning artwork and miniatures gallery in high definition.

The rules in this eBook are also available in Codex: Imperial Agents, fully revised and updated along with new detachments plus rules for adding even more servants of the Emperor to your army.

Codex: Inquisition (Enhanced Edition) - Games Workshop Reviews

  • Some old some new

    By gousan1
A little supplement book. Has half cons and pros but it's for the 7th edition of warhammer 40k. Just remember these reviews are people's opinions .
  • Disappointment

Don't buy it, is the same stuff. Far too expensive for a copy and pasted product. It should be illegal what they're doing at GW. No wonder they shrink wrap their hard covers. If you looked in them before purchase you would realize you either already have the rules or there is nothing worth paying their over bloated prices.

Nothing new at all las far as gear or stats. Plz don't waste your money.

Why would you do this? I want my money back.
  • Cool but why?

Okay, this is a really cool idea and can bring some fun into creating more unique and diversified army lists but why does GW have to keep charging us and raising the prices on us for stuff that was just copied right out of another codex. I know GW is a business and all but they have been getting pretty out of hand with prices. This would be awesome if it were the price of a white dwarf magazine...
  • Recycled content

    Cut, paste, charge. Not cool.
  • Pretty Useless (especially if you own codex GK)

    By Ian Malabre
Short of the brief and vague rules for the inquisitorial detachments and slightly different points cost, all the crunch in this book is copy pasted from the grey knights codex. I guess its fun if you play an imperial army and want the inquisitors from the GK but not the knights themselves, but really GW was really lazy on this one. You can get better fluff from lexicanum and know all the important rules from reading only one page of this book. Also the art is all recycled art from 40k rpgs or just codex GK, all in all I liked it because I used a gift card I would never use on it, but if you are paying real cash, one contraction: Don’t.

what others are saying is on par, if you have GK you already have everything in this book. this is the laziest attempt at gaining money from a fanbase i have ever seen. this is not even a whole codex!
  • Quite good!

    By Telegramsam70
Lots of options, relics and different transport options. Quite customizable with gear, powers and warlord traits. I'll be more impressed if GW releases a box for both inquisitors and henchmen.
  • Do Not Buy

It's a copy/paste from the Grey Knights book, with some slight additions to make henchmen squads better. What's really frustrating is they present fluff for cool inquisitors but only give the rules for the ones from the GK book. I'm use to over paying for Games Workshop stuff, but I've seriously never felt so cheated.
