Surprisingly Good Read. I don't normally read random mystery books, but I was surprised how captivating the characters are. They are rich, colorful people that seduce you in wanting to know more about them. I couldn't put the book down.

Bees, Bees, Bees. Found out more about bees and their honey that I ever could have imagined. I like this writer's style, her in-depth knowledge of keeping bees (a bee whisperer?) and her forward thinking attitudes regarding gays, marital relations, interaction between competitors, all done in the midst of a good mystery.

Death by a Honey Bee. Good read, full of interesting characters, lots of info about bee keeping, a compelling murder mystery and intelligently written. Not sure if it's a 3 or a 4 but vastly better written and entertaining than most of what I find online these days. I recommend it for just about anyone who likes a good mystery. Certainly, it will appeal to women who enjoy a clever, intelligent and nonconformist heroine.

Good until the end. Quick and easy read. Weak story line, but fun characters make up for it. The book had a very unsatisfactory ending. It never really ended, just dropped off. Frustrating to read a book, then not get a bit of closure at the end.
