5 stars. I would definitely recommend, changed my perspective on a couple things.

Good read. It provides perspective. Even though I might not have these views it shows me how to work with them. To say this book doesn’t align with a mans actions would be a lie. When lined up with past relationships as a guidebook it would have saved me some time and I could’ve gained some as well. Hopefully it helps now though. That’s when it counts. lol

Loved!. Loved this book! Wish I would've bought it sooner! Learned so much and have been able to implement a lot in my current relationship while reading. Major shift has happened. Can't wait to teach this to my daughter when she gets older. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. Got mislead by the sample and the more I continued to read the book, the more I realized this book is sexist and enforces women to sit back and low men to do as they please “because they’re men and that is how they’re raised”.

Sexist. Even the title is sexist and offensive.

Perspective. Steve Harvey’s Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man has given me insight into how and what a man thinks and wants. Although, I know this and I am very well aware of the red flags, we as females tend to ignore those signs. This book has taught me to go with my instincts.

Not Terrible Advice. I would say all in all this has been enlightening book. Some parts come off as a little chauvinistic. While he does acknowledge the work load of today’s women, the extreme expectations society places on mothers far outweighs the understanding any man will ever have on women. The fact that women now hold the title of mother AND career woman is something only very few men would even come close to understanding, because they don’t have the physical capabilities to understand things like the pain of child birth and how that changes a women’s body. The whole “men don’t like it when women let themselves go” (interpreted quote) and giving women a ten-pound weight-gain range before men disapprove is just not considering the fact that women bare children and this changes their bodies, often more than the suggested ten-pound leeway “given” by men. I also don’t personally believe that men have any excuses or should be placing suggestions on women on how they can keep their men from straying, let alone justifying why they stray with nominal, meaningless explanations. Ones like if they don’t get sex from their women, they will get it elsewhere. While this may be true, this should not be accepted as a guideline for any couple, male or female. I have already suggested this book to other women, but not for advice on how to act around men so much as to understand that most men just play with women’s hearts to get sex. And the more knowledge a women has to her advantage, hopefully the less female hearts will be broken by these types of men. Any women who have been played by a man knows that, and every dark secret a man keeps is best brought into the light, so I appreciate this book for that simple fact.

On point. Steve nailed it. Definitely changed my approach.

Interesting. I love how this book is very transparent yet so blunt and honest. Definitely a good read! I just love Steve Harvey and his words of wisdom.

Very Insightful But a Bit Boring. This was a very insightful look into the minds of most men, but it was a bit boring at times.

WOW!. All I can really say is that regardless if you're in a relationship or not, this book is great. I got the sample and was automatically hooked within the next two pages. That I had to have an actual copy in my hand. Finished the book within one day. There were a few pages/paragraphs in the book that Steve Harvey gave me cheerful tears in laughter. He reassured me that there are decent men out in this cruel world who will go out of their way to protect, provide, & profess their affection to you. Let's not give up ladies! We've got games too not only men do.

Great read!. I don’t necessarily believe every word he said, but it is well written, entertaining and eye-opening. It seems that he is truly interested in people finding happiness.

Mind wide open. I have read this book before. It opened my mind to seeing things from different angles ,which pointed out the simplicity of the relationship that keeps us happy. Once those things are acquired our ,peace ,love ,security and longevity is achieved. Thank you Steve.

Interesting. The book put a lot in perspective that I questioned, gave concrete answers and made situations I felt were hard much more simple. I really enjoyed it.

For women in the dating scene. I got some good advice but as a married woman it wasn’t really geared towards me. I would have liked more about the longevity of a relationship and marriage. Fast, easy read, funny as always.

TLAM. Read because of the movie. It was a fun and interesting read.

I recommend this book to all women!. I really enjoyed reading this book, simply because I have been through so much of it and reading through it I was laughing at what I have learnt so far and to have SH confirm so many things and highlight other insightful points of view and situations. Last year I decided I was going to make a list of what I really wanted in life and to stay away from men too, basically find me and as I started finding me and started learning more about me I found him! I am now in a happy relationship and can see a future with my other half, no one can guess what the future holds but for now I know I am happy creating memories and learning to work with someone I genuinely want in my life and he wants me too. It’s a good feeling when there is nothing to be afraid of.

Trash. This book is uninformed garbage. Whoever convinced and helped you to write this has let you down. Why did no one simply tell you 'no'? Harvey (or rather his ghostwriter) writes poorly and the content reads like a schoolchilds'.
