With the shadows of Krista’s past constantly lingering over her, Krista tries to keep herself at a distance from the handsome and effervescent salesman, Sean. The problem is, the more entwined they become working as a team to land the huge client, the closer they inevitably get. Soon Krista can’t help but face the feelings that have grown between them.
Sean doesn’t have a great track record with women. He’s always known how to get them, but keeping them has always been another story. He often jumps in with both feet, gets tangled, and goes running.
It is when each of them finally face their fears, allowing the other in, that the real danger shows itself. Some pasts are harder to ignore than others.
Butterflies in Honey:
Krista has settled into her new job in L.A. gloriously, moving up the ladder and earning a great reputation for herself. But since she and Sean parted ways, she has felt like half a person; a shell of the girl she was when she left San Francisco. It isn’t until her job takes her back to San Francisco that she sees him again, the one that got away. It’s like looking into her soul as she meets those startling green eyes again. She realizes, without a doubt, that she still loves him as much as she ever did.
Sean has spent the last couple years working like a demon, achieving and reaching for the stars, but with nothing to look forward to. He let his salvation walk away, and let his own fears and problems keep him from going after her. When he meets her again he is plagued with his love for her, thinking that she has moved on. When he finds out she still loves him, he decides to make matters right, and finally go after her.
It isn’t until the two are working together again that they realize true love is a winding road that comes at a cost. Sean and Krista will not only struggle with trust and obstacles to be together, they must face the landscape of the company they now work for, an establishment that promotes men over women, and that threatens to pigeonhole Krista from the get-go. It will take the two learning to fight together again to overcome and triumph.

Love. I am obsessed and this book was super good it had me hooked from the moment I started. Usually I Don’t buy books, but with this one I couldn’t resist. Witty, addicting and beautifully written. I am currently reading another book by this author. You won’t regret it.
Wonderful!!!!. I have read a lot of romance novels in my day, but this book by far, is THE best book I think I have ever had the pleasure of reading! I will be reading anything by this author I can get my hands on.
Not great. This is by far my least favorite collection from this author. There were a lot of points that were drawn out for no reason. If I had paid for this, as opposed to downloading it for free, I would have been severely disappointed. Her other work is significantly better.
Loved it, BUT.... Okay, so I loved the story. Loved the characters. Really solid characters, actually. So much depth! But what was the deal with all the grammatical errors and typos?? Were all the copy editors on strike when this was published? I don't understand how these mistakes got through to the finished product. Words missing letters, incorrect pronouns, using "then" instead of "than"...there were so many—SO MANY—of these simple errors, and eventually it was just plain distracting. I still thoroughly enjoyed the read, but it was disappointing to see all those grammatical eye-sores that slipped through the cracks.

Amazing Series. I loved this whole series, K.f. Breene has the ability to draw you in and capture you within the pages of her books. I loved this series. The characters are awesome and near and dear to my heart!

The love story, the torture she went through, the struggles, everything was amazing! I learned so much about life and this book really made me think about life. I am very happy with this book. One of the best. Absolutely one of the best I've ever read. I didn't think much of it when I heard about, just thought it was a typical love hate story and then they end up together the end. However it was so much more than that, the twists and turns, constantly had my mouth open or my eyes overflowing with tears. I laughed, I cried, I was angered, hurt and elated but throughout it all I felt a part of it. I honestly felt like a part of the story, like a distant relation of krista's that was looking from the outside in. Honestly an amazing book with fabulous characters, written impeccably Thank you so much, I'm now going to read Love and Chaos - Cassie's story!
Loved it. This series was brilliant, krista was a well written character & the one & only female lead who did not annoy me at any point. Finally. Some real laugh out loud moments & other serious issues dealt with too. Would highly recommend.

Growing Pains Boxed Set. Expected it to be more or less a typical romance but found them to be much more then that! I enjoyed them all greatly!
Engaging. Couldn't put this series down. Loved the realistic struggles that created a story that is believable.
Growing pains...painful to get thru. Good thing it was free, this is a poorly written story. I tried but it's all over the place and it's like the writer couldn't decide what the main plot was. Deleted without finishing :(
