Amazing. I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed this a lot. Being a young single mother myself, and eventually finding the "right" man I felt a lot of emotions right there with Kailyn. She's a great speaker. One of the few Teen Mom's that has done something good for herself... (The other two being Leah and Chelsea)

Love it!. I can relate enormously it's scary. I don't know how a person can judge another who has been given a hard life and make the best out of it instead of giving up. You're just amazing!!!

Sincere and heart tugging story. This book was truly eye opening on the dangers of alcoholism and how it can have a negative impact on teenagers. Kailyn is at the epicenter of all this drama but is able to overcome it all. She is truly a heroine in her own right.

Pride over pity. Well... I've been watching 16 & pregnant & Teen Mom since it began. I am a teen Mom myself. Now I'm 22. But, I've found after reading this that we have a lot in common. I've had similar struggles with my mom and depending on others when you have a child has been something I've had a difficult time dealing with too. She really is a role model and I'm so proud of her for over coming all that she has. I look up to her a lot for trusting someone like javi and the relationship to have grown to beautifully. I can only hope that one day I can find myself a family for my son and make the best out of my situation. I loved this book. I read it in two days! I look forward to another season of teen mom 2. I don't know her personally but after watching her all these years and after reading this I feel like I know her, it's so weird! lol but really was a great book and highly recommend it for people our age going through raising a child because it's not as easy at it looks on the outside!

Too much acknowledgement of rude comments via social media. Too much talk about others opinion about her via online. I expected more of an autobiography not just her trying to defend herself against rude comments others have made about her! Very disappointing

Young mothers. No matter how young you are or may have been when you stepped into motherhood there is something you can relate to. It's so real and open. Nothing is held back just like in motherhood it's the good the bad and the ugly.

Pride over Pity. I absolutely loved reading this book. Kail put so much heart out there for the world to see, and even though she had so many low points, she took herself to the highest point she could for her children. I love watching her and Javi raise their family. She is truly an inspiration to women everywhere! Five stars 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best book.. This book is so over powering.. Moving and touching. Seeing how she over comes what life throws at her is amazing. She's my fav teen mom.Isaac and Lincoln are so precious. Five stars. It was so hard to stop reading. I'm so glad to have purchased this story. Kailua, I am a huge fan of yours and Javi and Jo and Vee. You guys are great parents. And I hope to have the blessing to meet you one day.

Definitely did not deserve "best selling author". Totally disappointed was not what I expected at all! Thought she was capable of writing a better book. Jumped from one event to another and at times I felt like I was reading the same thing twice. Nothing new from what we already know from the show. Not worth buying should have listened to the reviews :/

Poorly written; Absolute bore. This book is so poorly written. The entire story is littered with grammatical errors and the writing style changes multiple times. I can appreciate the sentiment behind this book but other than that, it is unworthy of even being published. If Kail wasn't already famous this wouldn't have made it to print. I would give it 0 stars, but 1 star is the lowest choice. Thumbs down.

Beautiful. This book undoubtedly goes deeper than the camera lense. I remember watch 16 and pregnant with my sister and instantly telling her your episode was my favorite because of how much I could relate. Good luck with life and next time have a GIRL. I'm curious to see beautiful little kaitlyn

Kailyn. This book is so inspiring. I love how you could of chosen any path and u definitely chose the right one. I too was a teen mom and know how difficult it was raising a baby when in all reality I was still a child. Keep up all your hard work.

Pride Over Pity. Awesome book!

Can't put it down once you start. She really opens up in this book. The last few chapters were kind of full cause most if it was seen on TV but at first you can't put it down cause you find out something new in each chapter that blows your mind. I loved reading it!!

pride over pity. The book was pretty boring accept the first 2 chapters. After i got to the part where she compared God to a dog i lost all respect for her. I regret wasting my money on this book. Aside from my personal views the book wasn't very interesting.

It’s was okay book. Didn’t like that she’s religion bashing in one chapter. She’s really not a good writer. I’m tired of oh my parents weren’t there for me pity act. Everything she wrote I knew from the show. I just don’t like the girl least favorite teen mom. I don’t who decided to give her a book deal. Don’t buy it just get from the library.

Inspiration at its finest.. Loved learning more than just what the show portrays! Kailyn, you're an incredible soul. Very inspirational (even though my husband and I decided not to have children) and moving!

pride over pity review. I found this book to be very relatable. I liked it at the beginning but the tone of the author resembled negativity. I felt the purpose of the story is to tell her side of the story contrary of what the media had displayed of her. It was more of a defensive attitude than a inspirational theme. I feel like the audience would be similar aged adults or teens going through a similar experience looking for motivation, inspiration & to gain a positive outlook on life. Instead I felt disappointed because the focus was fueled by what the media misconstrued versus her current outlook and how to encourage young women to change their perspective to a positive one.

So proud of you kail. This is a good read from teen to adult to see such a young person encounter such hardships and become the wonderful and great mother she is instead of a true statistic is truly wonderful. Kail has grown from a child to a very beautiful woman!!!!

Pride Over Pity. I loved seeing things from Kail's perspective. I've watched Teen Mom for a while now and I love getting even more insight into her life. The book helps to connect things and show why she made certain decisions that she did. After all, it's her life. She just happens to have an interesting one that others want to read and see.

LOVE!. I am not one to read books, but once I picked this book up and began to read it I couldn’t put it down..one of the best and most influential books I’ve ever read.

Ok, but not the best I've ever read. The book is ok. The beginning is pretty well written, but the book does seem all over the place at times. I don't have respect for when she said that she tries to respect other people's beliefs, but then in the next few paragraphs goes on to bash religion and try to prove God doesn't exist. Good book though.

Not as good as I hoped. I really liked Kail prior to reading this book. I still like her but I just feel like all she did was bash jo and his family who did so much for her and complain about everything.

Unexpectedly fantastic. I read this in one sitting. I am not a teen mom and I have never been pregnant; I've always been a stringent advocate of birth control. Kailyn's story reiterates many of the things I believe young women should hear. Want better, do better, BE better.

Amazing. I have friends who are teen moms or had a tough family life and seen it work out for them. I feel like Kailyn is an amazing example of the why being a teen mom or having a rough family isn't a death sentence and I am so proud of her for having the courage to use her experience to give a voice to all of the adversity she has overcome. I hope other girls - especially teenagers - will read this and receive inspiration and courage from her words and know they can also be ok.

When watching her on Teen Mom, you only see bits and pieces of what's going on in her life but reading this book gave me more. Kailyn is such an inspiring person. Honest, real and not hidden secrets.. I'm not gonna lie, I've been a kail fan since the first episode of teen mom 2 - her story was always one that was real and true. I could always see that her hard moments were ALWAYS shown and the best moments were minimized - it was a tv and all. Kail has proven to be a great mom and this book just shows that even more. Kail is honest, real and candid in her life and the situations she has been in. This story is inspiring and applauded for the acknowledgement of life's hardest day and how to overcome that successfully.
