Cosega Search - Brandt Legg Reviews

This is a pretty standard derivation of this genre, artifact + archeologist + ancient knowledge + government and/or religious baddies. The story is OK. And it is quickly paced. But my goodness, is this written at a 4th grade reading level. No joke. Hard to get through b/c of it. But it was free and I'm going to give it a shot. Dialogue, is just awful. Incredibly formulaic and predictable.

What's even worse than surprising unsuspecting readers with more volumes than they were expecting is the way the prices are raised for each subsequent volume.

This is a unique story in which you are constantly waiting for the next shoe to drop. If you like suspense you'll fine plenty of it in this unique story.

I enjoyed the series and thought it was well worth the reasonable prices for each book. Once I started reading it kept my interest and I couldn't put it down.

The first book I read by this author and it’s one of his best. If you like ‘The Last Librarian’ you should check out this earlier book by Legg.

Great plot, dialogue, characters, editing and proofreading. But it is a teaser to sell the next two in the trilogy. I didn't rate it a 3 because I do believe this is a good read and creative author. I didn't rate it a 5 because the trilogy should be in one book. I think it disrespects the reader who invested time to read and like the book to not have put them into one long satisfying read. Actually, maybe it really rates a 3 for duping the reader. I'm not interested enough to read the remaining two books for a story that should have been all told in one book.

Ripping good read. Indiana Jones crossed with da Vinci Code with a splash of von Daniken thrown in for good measure. Hard to put down once you get going. It's not flawless but it is fun. Lotta dead people though!
