Cold Fear by Toni Anderson. What a refreshing experience to read a stellar suspense book with very detailed medical and tactical information. I’m an RN and was impressed. Thanks for such a wonderful read and the characters become very real with the way each character is developed. If you could have a 10 star rating this ebook would have one! KSW

Who actually done it?. This book definitely left me guessing big time. Every time I thought I knew what Izzy had done, it back fired on me, every time Kit played the bratty sister, I had her pegged - wrong. Lincoln Frazer discovers early that a piece of jewelry found on a murdered girl could be trouble and doesn’t want that info in the hands of basically anyone but a super small circle. Izzy Campbell is groaning through life. Having to give up a military career to come take care of her teenage sister brings her past rearing into her face. She has a rental Cottage next to her house so Frazer stays there while trying to put the pieces together. Both Lincoln and Izzy were dealt a bad hand while teenagers and that forged who they are now. The “who done it” in this story spun all over the place. I was wrong several times. This series gets better each book. That’s amazing.

Cold Fear. Author doesn't have American slang down yet. It's a '$5 dollar bill', not a ' $5 dollar note.' We 'sell out', not 'sell up'. He's a 'physical therapist', not a physio. We use 'baby sitters', not 'child minders'. And the list goes on. Very good books in the series, but these errors irritate. If you are going to write about Americans, use American English.

All Toni Anderson’s books are great. I am a big fan of really well written romantic suspense and Toni Anderson is one of the best authors writing today in this genre. Her books always include intricately created suspense, strong women and heroes with well rounded characters accompanying their muscles. There is just the right amount of jeopardy, sizzle and humour and every aspect is meticulously researched. I can’t recommend Toni Anderson’s books highly enough if you enjoy romantic suspense and we beautiful written yarn.

Great book. Her writing reminds me of Sandra Brown and Karen Robards. Great suspense and romance. I've read four books in the series and they all have been great. Getting ready to start my fifth! M

Excellent Read!. Toni Anderson has done it again. Cold Fear is a gripping and suspenseful tale that held my attention to the very end. The story is about a new crime that collides with old evidence of a notorious criminal who is in a death row list. FBI agent Lincoln Frazer is quick to act to make sure the killers are off the street; to make sure the offenders get a taste of justice. Dr. Isadora Campbell has a deep dark secret, and the recent killings are slowly pushing her secret to the surface. As Lincoln and Isadora reluctantly starts to get attracted to each other, the secret Isadora holds threaten to shatter their chance to be together. I have been a loyal reader of Toni’s works for a long time. The hero and heroine are realistic--with their strengths and flaws that make them human. The story is well developed, giving Lincoln and Isadora the time to grow feelings for each other. Their relationship doesn’t feel rushed. At first, I had a hard time liking Lincoln. He seems too detached and cold. But beneath that icy demeanor, he’s actually a tormented soul. Isadora finally could get past his sturdy wall and brings out the other side of Lincoln that is more likeable. The crimes are believable. I feel like I was in the middle of a murder investigation. Toni skillfully writes detailed terms that are used in a real investigation. It makes Cold Fear more than just a fiction. The plot is twisted several times, and it keeps me guessing who the real bad guy is. Some depictions are quite disturbing. Cold Fear is heavy on plot, peppered with romance. The story concludes with a satisfying end. There are several references to the previous books in the series. Although you can read Cold Fear as a standalone book, I suggest you read from the first installment to make the reading smoother and more enjoyable. If you love your suspense book full with surprises at every turn, Cold Fear is for you. I received a complementary copy in exchange of an honest review.

REALLY??!!. This book was TOTALLY AWESOME!! I did not want to stop reading (went so far as to carry my phone to bathroom just to continue reading!🤪). The build up of interest/trust between Linc & Izzy is steady but not so fast to be unbelievable. Their pasts define so much of their personalities & beliefs. And just forget about thinking you know “who dun it” because you’re wrong!! EXCELLENT STORY LINE AND SUSPENSE!! I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF POSSIBLE 🥰

Cool, anything but. A gripping read from start to finish

Amazing!. Wow! Read this book all night. Couldn’t put it down. Purchased the next book right after! Great writing, great story, feel good love between the characters. Lovely read

Cold Fear. Great series especially loved the way you linked the lead characters in each book .... I found this author by chance as a freebie and have ended up pre ordering this book and it was worth the wait. Can't put them down once you start one

Cold Fear. A riveting read.Found it difficult to leave this book down.Main plot is exciting and very well managed by the author,lasting in suspense to the end.The number of little sub-plots adds a lot of interest and introduces many great characters.I like Toni Anderson as an author---you always know you're in for a good time.Thoroughly recommend Cold Fear,as I do with any in the Cold series.

Cold Fear. A worthy read. Look into the mind of a serial killer. At times it’s gruesomely accurate. Not for the squeamish.

“cold fear (4)” by Toni Anderson. Very exciting. I loved that Izzy had such a deep, dark secret. Trying to figure out who the killer is difficult. The prime suspect changes as more information is leaked. You’re kept guessing. Lots of red herrings!
