The Gone Trilogy by Stacy Claflin Book Summary

The COMPLETE Gone Trilogy - A USA Today bestselling title.

Macy Mercer only wants a little independence. Eager to prove herself grown up, she goes to a dark, secluded park. She's supposed to meet the boy of her dreams who she met online. But the cute fifteen year old was a fantasy, his pictures fake. She finds herself face to face with Chester Woodran, a man capable of murder.

Distraught over his own missing daughter, Chester insists that Macy replace his lost girl. He locks Macy up, withholds food, and roughs her up, demanding that she call him dad. Under duress from his constant threats and mind games, her hold on reality starts to slip. Clinging to her memories is the only way of holding onto her true identity, not believing that she is Chester's daughter. Otherwise she may never see her family again.

This trilogy will take you through all three books to the conclusion.

Other books in the Gone Saga:
Dean's List - Lydia's story about being married to a serial killer.
No Return - Rusty is determined to prove his sister didn't commit suicide without getting himself killed.

Spin-off series: Alex Mercer Thrillers
Girl in Trouble - Ten years after Gone, Alex must face his demons.

Best series ever. I fell in love with this book it kept me on the edge of my seat. I wonder what a movie based off of it would be like

This was amazing!. These books kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not put the series done. Stacy Claflin has a way of making the reader feel like they are right there in scene. I cannot wait for the next book she puts out.

Great read. This book grabs you from the beginning. Lots of twists and turns. Some parts even made me cry. I love the characters.

Gone Series was amazing. I loved this series! Truly kept me interested and loved the point of view the way the books are written. Would love to read more!

Gone Trilogy. Absolutely the best books I have ever read! I simply could not put it down. Would recommend these books to anyone who loves a good adventure with some thrill that leaves you on the edge and turning the book page by page until you forgot how much you’ve even read.

Slow start but great read. First book starts slow and is average, but the plot and character development drastically picks up in the last 2 books. Great read overall.

Wow!. This book was great! Kept me on the edge of my seat...I couldn't stop reading!! Great story and so glad how it turned out!!

Ok, but repetitive. I read the trilogy and the book started out fine obviously well enough to keep me reading. However, and places it became so repetitive I started being able to skip entire pages. I read it on an iPad which made it very easy to skin and see the next three pages or all about repeating a family's feelings over and over and over again. This went on throughout the trilogy. Then it took some wild curb just because it seems came to the point where she had nothing further to do with the characters so dump them over here at the school side thing. Every time it seemed she had a chance to get away she really didn't try that hard to take beginning was good the ending was good a lot in the middle was unnecessary. When I recommend this trilogy? Probably not.

Internet identity. Fabulously written and definitely true for today’s society. Recommend it

Gone Triology. These books are amazing and I love how the author shows the sides of Macy and her family back at home.

Very Enjoyable. If you're looking for the best writing, this isn't the series for you. However, once you look past all the typos, the series is very clever and enjoyable. I am not at all a reader, but I couldn't stop reading! I would highly recommend.

Amazing! Couldn't put it down!!. I enjoyed every last minute of the Gone trilogy! And... You will too!

Great story, too much padding, shame about the editing. Great overall story idea, reasonably written but lots of very obvious padding to fill it out which can get a little tiresome - could have been condensed into 1 really great book rather than 3 mediocre. The brother and friend relationship added nothing (in fact it got pretty boring) and could have been cut completely. Editing is awful... so many grammatical errors, missing words, extra words in the wrong places and a handful of sentences that really make no sense at all which is pretty annoying. 5 stars for the idea, 3 stars for the unnecessary padding and frequent bad English. So I gave it a 4 overall... In the end I had to keep reading to find out what happened to Macy and there's plenty of chapters you can pretty much skip without missing much if you get bored.

Gone trilogy. Wow just wow!! What a fantastic read this is for anyone it's had me laugh cry shout at my screen it's also taught me to enjoy the simple things in life and also taught me about keeping my kids safe!! Defo a 5* author will recommend to everyone I know 😃 xx

Gripping, heart racing story. Usually this is not the style book I would read, but I loved it! In fact couldn't put it down for 2days while i read all 3! Plenty of heart stopping moments, bein a mum cud identify the parents feelings, found the best friend/brother plot a bit unnecessary wiv their ages but all made the story.well worth reading

Loved these books. Great read, the first one was enough to make me want to read all of them! The themes, although similar, are different enough that it isn’t repetitive reading all three and the characters from the first book are continued, enjoyed a lot

The Gone Trilogy. Great story - shame about all the errors in the writing, with so many missing or incorrect words I lost the flow and had keep rereading parts to try to figure it out!

Loved!!. This is not my usual type of book BUT I got bored and downloaded a few free books, 'gone' I couldn't stop reading, I then went on to buy the other two and read them within 2 days! The errors didn't put me off as I knew what was meant so I continued reading with no problems. It did start to drag on a little bit in between chapters but all in all I would still recommend. Great read!

Could have been condensed into one, maybe two books. Great plot but started to drag on and became repetitive. Skipped most chapters towards the end of the second book (Chad, Alyssa, Alex, Zoey) because they became quite boring

Disappointed. I’m more than happy to pay the small price asked for the Gone Trilogy, however, I’m disappointed that it hasn’t been proof read as I keep losing my concentration when it doesn’t make sense and I have to go back to pick up the missing or incorrect words.

The Gone Trilogy. This is an awesome story which had me from the start. I really enjoyed reading it and will recommend it to others. I’m about to start reading some of the spin-off stories

Unlikeable characters. First book was great, worth the read, and looked as though it had great potential but as they go on the characters become more and more unlikable, I read to the end to see what happens, but to be honest it was a lot of skimming as it could not hold my attention, it became monotonous and boring, I found my self wanting the main character to die, just to get it over with. Would not recommend this to anyone who enjoys character depth and a good storyline
