When will the next Lord and Lady book be out?. Just finished the 4th book in the series. I really do want to know what Sir Duncan will do next. Will Henry be adopted? What trouble will DS Bhar get into? So, again I ask, how soon for the next installment?

Black and blue. Love all these books. The best plot and solutions. Can’t wait for more.

Light Reading. The almost ‘love at first sight’ & marriage was a little hard to imagine, otherwise enjoyed the series & interested to read the next.

Marriage & Changes. I have really enjoyed this series featuring Tony and Kate as they solve crimes for Scotland Yard and adjust to their relationship. The cast of characters continues to grow but your favorites make their appearances as well. The series has a charm and a sense of fun. It is much more focused on the characters than the crimes they solve. Tony and Kate are newlyweds and the new marriage is causing some issues at home and at work. Some of the people at Scotland Yard are not happy with the marriage and they have been letting Tony know their feelings. He has kept it all from Kate and it is now hitting the fan. They also are dealing with her mother and sister who are enjoying the publicity that is coming their way and using poor Henry as a tool to make Kate and Tony look bad. This time a neighbor is murdered and the suspect has a connection to them. The victim is not a nice man and enjoys dating married women as well as being involved in the drug trade so he has more than one enemy. His former sister-in-law is quite a character and a strong suspect as well. The ending makes me excited for the next story for them all. There are a lot of changes to come. Another excellent mystery solved!. Tony and Kate have returned form their Honeymoon to Kate's relatives causing chaos, a dead art dealer in their neighbourhood and more hassles from inside the yard. This, the fourth of the Lord and Lady Hetheridge mystery series yet again sees the duo not just fend off attacks from the murder suspects but from all angles. The book is filled with witty and quirky characters and the old stalwarts including Mrs Snell, Sir Duncan Godington, DS Bhar and his mum all make reappearances. I had thoroughly enjoyed the previous in the series and this one did not disappoint too. I was gifted this tale in exchange for an honest opinion.

A Fantastic Read. I enjoyed the series thus far and this one is no exception. The interaction between the characters is so believable and Emma gets you embedded into the story very quickly, to such an extent that you just want to know more. The development of the characters from the start adds to that realism within your mind.

Bring back the Hetheridges!. I think I may have got the first one as a "Freeby", I can't remember, but I didn't open it for months. Then, I did. It normally takes me a long time to read a book, twice or thrice the time it takes my wife, but I got through it in no time at all. From there, it's taken me precisely four weeks, twenty-eight days, to finish the series. There is something about these books that just keeps you reading! A great read, don't hesitate to buy them all! M

Black & Blue. This is the second book I have read by this author and it was quite amusing and entertaining. One note though, this is an American author writing as though English when clearly the spelling is American which just doesn’t suit the material. It would be much more readable with English spelling.

Black and Blue. Although the murder case and its investigation and solution was as good as I’ve come to expect, the transformation of CS Hetheridge to Lord Hetheridge, PI was the real attraction if this instalment. Now Lord and Lady can truly work together at their personal strengths without fear of running afoul of the Yard’s rules or corporate culture. I look forward to the next episode.

Lord and Lady Hetherington, an excellent team. Working my way through all the books in this series and enjoying them immensely. Characters are well drawn with surprises, plot is flawless. One of the most interesting British detective novels I've read.

Paul and His Mum. The scenes between these two need to be heavily edited. Especially the chapter when they are at Harrod’s; it just goes on and on. Kick Paul’s Mum out and concentrate more on Tony, Kate and Paul. They are the strong foundation that holds up the structure of your stories.

Lord & Lady Hetheridge. I have now read all four books available so far, and can’t wait for the next ones. Thoroughly enjoyed them

Black and blue by Emma Jameson. This is book number four in the series, but I read it as a first and didn’t feel lost. I met all the fun characters and enjoyed the story, which was an easy mystery. I’m looking forward to the next book.
