The #1 Bestselling series!

A FORGE OF VALOR is book #4 in Morgan Rice’s bestselling epic fantasy series KINGS AND SORCERERS (which begins with RISE OF THE DRAGONS)!

In A FORGE OF VALOR, Kyra slowly returns from the verge of death, healed by Kyle’s love and mysterious power. As he sacrifices for her, she regains her strength—yet not without a price. She presses Alva for the secret of her lineage, and he finally reveals all about her mother. Given a chance to quest to the source of her power, Kyra must make a crucial choice: whether to complete her training or journey to help her father, who wallows in the capital dungeon, his execution pending.

Aidan, Motley at his side, also strives to rescue his father, trapped in the perilous capital, while in the far corner of the kingdom, Merk, amazed by what he discovers in the Tower of Ur, braces himself against a massive troll invasion. His Tower surrounded, he must fight alongside his fellow Watchers, to defend his nation’s most precious relic.

Dierdre finds herself facing a full-fledged Pandesian invasion in her embattled city of Ur. As her precious city is destroyed all around her, she has to decide whether to escape or to make a final, heroic stand. Alec, meanwhile, finds himself at sea with his cryptic newfound friend, sailing to a land he’s never been, one even more mysterious than his companion. It is here that, finally, he learns of his destiny—and of the last hope for Escalon.

With its strong atmosphere and complex characters, A FORGE OF VALOR is a sweeping saga of knights and warriors, of kings and lords, of honor and valor, of magic, destiny, monsters and dragons. It is a story of love and broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is fantasy at its finest, inviting us into a world that will live with us forever, one that will appeal to all ages and genders.

Book #5 in KINGS AND SORCERERS will be published soon.

“If you thought that there was no reason left for living after the end of the Sorcerer’s Ring series, you were wrong. Morgan Rice has come up with what promises to be another brilliant series, immersing us in a fantasy of trolls and dragons, of valor, honor, courage, magic and faith in your destiny. Morgan has managed again to produce a strong set of characters that make us cheer for them on every page.…Recommended for the permanent library of all readers that love a well-written fantasy.”

Great plot but…... This is my first series in ages and I largely compare it to Eragon, which I know may not be wise, but the grammatical errors are very frustrating and keep popping up everywhere. Plot is good so far but author has room to grow in my opinion and should definitely invest in an editor or take a closer look at the book before publishing.

It earned it’s 5 stars. Please read this review to the end ;) The book “A Forge of Valor” was outstanding! I have -100,000,% negativity about this book. The ending were Kyra and Theon are sandwiched between the army of dragons and the army of pandasians makes me really really REAALLY want to read the next book in the series! And this is a lot of praise from a 10 year old trust me my brothers probably only get 2/3 of that praise from me… COMBINED!!! I still love them though.

Tired of it but I’ll read it because I bought it.. I’m tired of Kyra being so stupid. She reminds of of the twit Bella in Twilight. And the author sure seems to borrow from other stories. For example, Ra. Her description of him sure sounds like the Persian king in the movie 300. And the kids putting a large chain across the channel to sink the Pandesian boats rings of Game of Thrones. Also all the typos and in one it said Vesuvius was killed at the fort in Volis, then the next page he is leading the charge against the tower of Ur. I think the editor needs to get his act together. There are too many side stories of characters supposedly going to all meet at the end. I’m only on book 4 and already all these things are screaming at me. I sure hope it gets better but I have my doubts.

I'm not sure how to feel. The overall plot of this series is great. The theme behind it, the quotes, they all have a powerful meaning behind them. However, every time I get deep into the story, the author just destroys all hope I have in this book. Kyra is by far one of the most selfish, arrogant, and impulsive characters I have read about. She doesn't listen to anyone. She's constantly almost dying because of her foolishness. Aidan is always arrogant and single-minded like his sister. They do not think. They just react, and toss it up to it being honorable and courage a when really it's just stupid. Not to mention the grammar and spelling errors or the fact that she gets some of the characters' names mixed up. She uses the same hackneyed phrases constantly. Sometimes in the same or consecutive sentences. This author has great potential, but she really needs someone to review her work before she submits it and to stop filling the pages with useless words that tell a 200-page story in 500+. With that being said, don't stop writing, but please think about your reader.

I’m done with series. I’m sorry but each book has the exact same patters and it’s become boring. A girl that is on a quest to find herself keeps deciding that the smart thing to do is ignore what she has learned and abandon her quest at every turn. It simply reminds me of all the selfish children that weren’t properly taught by there parents not to be selfish and self centered.

Good. It was good

Please don't bother.. I'm fed up with reading books that are really just a few chapters in the whole story. I will not get sucked into buying a bunch of books again like I did for the Sorcerers Ring Series. I like the premise of both series. But feel they could be told in much less time with far better writing. The heroine in this series is not very likable. Neither her nor the other main characters are developed enough for me to care whether they live or die. These books never seem to resolve anything or even get anywhere and I have yet to finish one where I am yearning for more. I mostly feel duped and annoyed. I really like Morgan Rice but I'm beginning to question if he is writing because he wants to write a good story or to collected the money.

The story could be great if…. Look I can tell this is a new writer so I’m going to give some grace to her/him. My issue is the likeness of this being 300 mixed with The Witcher, makes this read predictable and borderline plagiarism. The grammatical errors, the willful stupid characters, and the repeated near death situations are ruining what could have been an amazing series. This could have been something amazing!! My adivce to the author: PLEASE get a editor and someone who can help you grow as a writer!! I’m just going to buy the last book to see how it ends because I want to know that at the very least I’ll skip the other. Im made I wasted this much money. These should be free until she gets better at what she does or at the very least a $1 per book.

Worst Book so far. You would think by the end of this book the main character would have grow and stopped making the same mistakes to gain story line as it is getting old and drawn out how in her ignorance she keeps beating her head against the same brick wall and forsaking the destiny she so strongly wished for in the first book. You would be wrong. Her continued lack of learning from past failure even after believing that she caused the death of someone she claimed to love makes her the most fail hero of all time. What is that saying, it is not the mistake you make it is what you learn from it? She repeats the same mistake over and over expecting a different outcome, the true definition of stupid.

Overpriced. $4.99 for a 250 page book is too much

Best volume so far. So I just finished reading A Forge of Valor and must say I was very pleased with this volume. I am hooked on these books even though I often find grammatical errors, misspellings and name changes that confuse the reader, but this volume didn't have any mistakes that I can think of. It was also a riveting volume with all the new twists and turns. The fact that the two girls go off in different directions was a little sad at first but in the end it was a good move by the author. I can't wait to read the next book.

Wow. I love it!! I really enjoy the way she spins the tales and how they all intertwined together. I look forward to when the next book will come out.

good book!. Read it in a day!

Could not put down. An action packed and exhilarating book!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water. It’s addicting, yet frustrating. The author continues to throw massive quantities of unnamed souls into the fire of the keeping the plot moving. Our main hero’s are still alive and kicking, each has been stomped upon and trodden on numerous times, yet some how surviving when all others around them have been run through a meat grinder. Chapters continue to end in cliff hangers, only to have some miraculous occurrence happen when they are picked up in their next chapter. Unfortunately the poor canon fodder around them continue to die noble-less, unrewarding deaths. Valor and survival is reserved for the few. Everybody else is just meat. Sickening really..

Edited?. So many grammatical errors that I thought I was reading a rough draft. The author and/or editor, need to come up with more adjectives. Every other page someone's heart "slammed in their chest."

A Forge of Valor. This book is, again, one of the best I have read. Though in parts the syntax became a little repetitive (Alec decided... Alec thought... Alec...), overall the book is amazing. The characters are continually well developed and, as of yet, their actions haven't contradicted their character. I love this book and series!

A Forge of Valor. This book continues the great series - just sorry i have caught up and have to wait for the new books to be published - probably even better than the Sorcerers Ring Series
