Good Read!. This story draws you in and hold you to the very end. One of the best reads I've had this year. I'm not going to go into the plot, just going to say that it's worth allotting the time it takes to read it ... it's not your standard love story. I know I'll be reading it again while I'm chilling on vacation this fall.

Amazing. I'm crying right now. This book was amazing.

Overwhelmingly Wonderful. Without giving too much away, this story truly touches your heart. Claire's journey is so breathtakingly raw, beautiful, enchanting, and mesmerizing, that you will feel like you are right there in Boston with her. Nowadays, I find it rare to come upon novels that encompass everything a remarkable novel should have. However, this novel has everything you could ever hope for. And so much more! Believe me. Once you start, you won't be able to stop until it is done. Just be prepared for the emotional, life-changing, thrilling and down right beautiful story that is so wonderfully told in "The Promise."

Wonderful Story. This was one of the best books I have read in along time. You are pulled right into the characters.

The Promise. Very well written. Characters fully developed. I didn't anticipate the plot and the change of direction. When it manifested, it completely changed my preconceived opinion of this being a stereotypical love story. Stereotypical this book is not. However, it is a real tearjerker. If you want a good read, and have a box of Kleenex handy, I highly recommend this book.

Have your tissues nearby. Heart warming. Heartbreaking.

Fantastic!!. The Promise absolutely left me stunned and speechless. There's no way to really delve into this book without giving away spoilers and I definitely don't want to do that. Just know that you are going on a journey that will absolutely tear you to pieces but is so utterly beautiful. You're going to be shocked at some of the unexpected twists and turns. This is so different from anything Melody Grace has written before and she did an amazing job. The Promise is one book that I will not soon forget. 5+++++ stars for me.

The Promise. This was an author new to me. Don’t know if I could get through another book like this. So well written, so heartbreakingly beautiful. But I prefer ones that are happily ever after, even though that’s a fairytale for the most part. This book will be unforgettable to most anyone who reads it.

Can’t find the words!!. Beautiful, touching story, full of emotion and love and hurt and pain. Was swept along with the characters trying to read through the tears, and by the end…..? Life is short - Make the most of it. Live it to the full, and fill each day with all the love you can find and give yourself.

Melody Grace's best work. I have been a long time fan of Melody Grace's books and loved every page of 'The Promise'. A deep, emotional book that is by far her best work. So well written. I loved it and hope to see it transformed for the big screen one day! Definitely one for book club!

Beautifully written. It’s a story about cancer but not just any story; a heart felt, effervescent look at a brave young girls precious life slipping away all to quickly. Mixed emotions in the final chapters but you decide for yourself.
