So good!!. This is the 2nd book to Never Tear us apart. This is such an emotional read! I couldn't put it down! It starts out with Katie and Ethan/Will trying to get over their heartache for each other and live apart. Katie finally gives in and texts Ethan to meet up for coffee. They start off slow as friends because Katie is having a hard time getting over the fact that Ethan lied about his real identity. She doesn't know if she can trust him .Katie's sister and mother find out she's talking to Ethan again and they tell her they'll have nothing to do with her if she starts seeing him again. Then they have Lisa Swanson harassing them to do an interview together. Will also recieves a letter from his dad with some revealing information. He is also urging him to do the interview. How would the public take them being together in an actual relationship?! Will they think they're sick?! It just seems that the odds are totally against them! Will Katie and Will be able to overcome the odds and finally find peace and be able to be together in love?! Another great thing that I Like about the book is that you get to see lots of different POV's even Aaron's! You get to see just how crazy he really is!! Well that's all I'm gonna give away! If you enjoyed Never Tear us apart then I think you'll enjoy this book! Such a Roller coaster ride! I can't wait to read more from Monica Murphy! Amazing!. Never Let You Go is heart wrenching. Gut wrenching! Is that too many wrenchings?? I read this book and Never Tear Us Apart back to back, so it's hard to review this one individually. The story of Katie (Katherine) and Will (Ethan) made me feel so many things. I was heartbroken for both of them as children. I was hopeful for them as adults. No, their love was not expected, or conventional, but it was understandable. Some may think that their love shouldn't or couldn't happen, but I believe it could. They definitely have a lot of hurdles to overcome, but I believe every couple does. I think that Katie does get too caught up in having a hero, especially Will as that hero. I would like to think in time, she learns she can save herself. I really love this two part series. It has left me thinking a lot - even now after I'm done reading them both!

Lies and betrayal never looked so good. MY REVIEW: 5/5 STARS FOR THIS STORY OF LIES, BETRAYAL, SECOND CHANCES AND UNDENIABLE LOVE. Never Let You Go is the conclusion to the Will and Katie’s story which began in Never Tear Us Apart. This should not be read as a standalone and I wouldn’t want you to deprive yourself of Will and Katie’s journey in any way. The story picks up shortly after the ending of Never Tear Us Apart. Will is an emotional mess, full of guilt and self-loathing. Katie, while stronger than before, is still an emotional wreck who is hurting from Will’s lies and betrayal. Will tries desperately to fix what he broke and Katie, now stronger than before, hates him. Despite feeling betrayed, she misses Will desperately. There is so much interference from outside sources, so along with what is happening between the two of them, there is a pesky reporter, Katie’s family and Will’s disgusting father causing all kinds of interference. I can’t tell you anymore without spoiling, but suffice it to say, Never Let You Go had me emotionally worn out by the end. The subject matter is dark and both Will and Katie go through such emotional turmoil. The story is told in alternating viewpoints and the story does switch back and forth between the past and present, but it is done very well and lends to the story. My recommendation: This is a MUST read, but I highly recommend you read book one first.

Learning to live again!!!. This is the second book in The Never series. I wasn't quite sure how this series would end. The first half of this book was a little slow but then it picked up. There were plenty of moments where I wasn't quite sure if Katie and Will were doing the right thing. How could they survive the scrutiny? I can't imagine the trauma, the self doubt, the loneliness without your family to back you. And most of all, the fear. Always living in fear. Thank God for her guardian angel and Molly! Poor, poor Molly. This is a well written story about the traumatic events of one woman's childhood and how she survived with the help of her guardian angel. It's a story of hope and of strength we don't know we have until we have no other choice. It's about learning to live again. Received a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I cry throughout the day when I should be doing something, anything to remind myself that I’m alive. I should be living. But instead, I cry for what I’ve lost. I cry for what I’ve found. Very rarely have I had a book grip me so much that it caused knots in my stomach in anticipation of what happens next. Glueing me to the pages, devouring every word. So much happens in this book, that you just need to read it to experience it to its fullest! Katie and Ethan/Will struggle with Ethan's deception, his lies, and what the future may hold for them. Katie starts seeing Ethan more as her Will, her hero and her feelings for him increase. Even though he lied to her, deceived her, she thinks he only did it with her best interests at heart. She's unsure where she will allow their relationship to go though, she fears if exposed, people will not accept their relationship. Lisa is going to do a televised interview with Aaron Monroe and she is relentless in getting Katie and Ethan/Will to participate. Aaron is still writing Will letters. Lots more happens, but I won't spoil it for ya *wink*. You just need to read this installment! The story is intense and had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. At this point, it's hard what/who to believe, especially when we get Aaron Monroe's POV. Yep, you heard me correctly. *insert shocked face emoji*. **Would Will help me? Would he kill someone for me if I told him to? I doubt it. But that don’t mean I can’t force him to do something … just to help out good old Pops. I hate what happened to Katie, but I love how she grows and learns to move on with her life and be the strong woman she knows she was always supposed to be. She is quite amazing, considering the trauma she went through. Her character growth is inspiring and a testament to her immense strength, her love, and her compassion. Truly a beautiful story!

You will feel every single emotion, hear every desperate cry, and relish every single drop of light that will cascade through the pages of this spectacular book. Emotional overload…but worth it!. Never Let You Go, the second installation of the Never Series by Monica Murphy, is nothing short of amazing. NLYG concludes the emotional journey of Ethan and Katie from the first Never book, Never Tear Us Apart, but not before Ms. Murphy plays with, tears apart, and mends together every one of your emotions. NLYG is the continuing story of Ethan and Katie, souls meant to be together even though the world keeps pulling them apart. It is gripping, heart-wrenching, and perfection! As a reader, I was emotionally drained after reading this book, I laughed and cried, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading every minute of it and would not want the author to change a thing. The characters-the main and the secondary-are complex, the story is real and raw, and as a reader you feel their pain, understand their thoughts, marvel in their strength, and cheer for their success. I have enjoyed every one of Ms. Murphy’s books—I am a loyal fan of her work. And, without hesitation, I would recommend the Never Series! But, readers should know going in that this series is different, and involves real, tough, ugly issues. There is a tried and true love story here, one worth reading, but the characters have to conquer their demons—the kind you see in the news, sadly and more often lately—before they can achieve and accept that love. *I was given an advanced copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Never Let You Go. Omg- I know that this is fiction but I’m halfway through and beyond frustrated. Where is the therapist from the first book? It’s like she never existed. And what about lawyers? I understand the set up to leave the main characters hanging out to dry on their own but there is literally not a single voice common sense here, whereas at least the therapist was that in the first book. Very frustrating, to the point that I am stopping reading and will consider picking up again as a possibility at some future point.

Captivating!. This is the conclusion to Never Tear Us Apart. They must be read in order. And what a fantastically beautiful conclusion it is. Monica Murphy pulls out all the stops in this second chance romance. You will go through quite a roller coaster ride with your emotions as well as some twists and turns you do not see coming your way. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat, not sure you want to know what is next as well as laughing and crying. This story grabs you by the throat and doesn't let you go until the end and you will love every last minute of it. Katie and Will/Evan are so meant for each other. Their souls are bound together from all the trauma they have suffered together. But their beautiful passion and love help them heal their wounds and they become stronger together. This is a powerful, passionate story that you won't want to miss. They will be forever with me. Highly recommended! Received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review.

Gut-wrenching, beautiful journey of finding hope & love. Katherine feels betrayed. Ethan lied about who he really is which rocked her foundation. The biggest challenge for her is that she wants Will in her life so can she forgive Ethan/Will for this betrayal? Ethan struggles with who he is, for years he has been Ethan, trying to forget the life Will lived before that time. When Katherine wants him to be Will, can he embrace the pain of his past and find peace as Will? There are several beautiful moments as these two work toward their normal. Now, this story threw me several unexpected twists as Katherine and Ethan worked toward healing and a future life. I don’t want to give away the complex layers on this journey. This is a gut-wrenching, beautiful journey of finding hope and love out of incredible tragedy.

Happiness Can Extinguish Sadness. This story was a wonderful ending to a stunning duet. Not only does this story tie up many, I mean MANY, loose ends, it also portrays an idea of everything being ok. Of course, if you are familiar with Never Tear Us Apart, then you know that that story deals with many a demon and uncertainty. But it also ends with quite the cliffy..... I can definitely say that I LOVED Never Let You Go more than Never Tear Us Apart. With Never Tear Us Apart, there were quite a few things that lacked for me. Mainly the emotions and the disconnect I had with Katie. And then I was given Never Let You Goand feel like this book was written by a totally different author. I felt "connected" to Katie, to an extent. I could almost relate to how she felt. She waged a war constantly within herself. It was almost bone crushing seeing her deal with the weight of the world on her shoulders. She was basically a new person. I really enjoyed seeing that new light shine a path to something else, rather than seeing yesterdays shadows. The feel is a tad bit lighter in this book. Just a tad though. There was always that feeling of pinpricks on my neck, because I had no clue what to expect. This kept me on my toes, almost like I was the vulnerable one, this time around. The air was a little bit more freeing, but the h/h were still constantly on edge. And who can blame these two? So much happens. SO darn MUCH! As the first 72% of this story unfolds, I found myself eating the pages up. I was seriously loving everything that took place between the h/h, and secretly wishing that everything could be wrapped up neatly with a big fluffy red bow at the end of the story. The interactions weren't always jilted, they were loose and all guards were down. I feel almost like it gave me the ok to end at the 72%, because I was fine with where things were going. And then there came that last 18% which was just ehhhh for me. When I said this book felt like it was written by a different author, I was not kidding. And then I got to that last 18%, and knew it was the same author. Things were a bit more far stretched than I had desired and wished for. As much as there needs to be that twist or sudden OMG factor, I hated it. Ok, maybe not hated it, per se, but really didn't like it. Again, I wanted that fluffy red bow to make things tidy and neat. I honestly needed it. It was almost like a security blanket to what was about to come. Overall, this was a great way to wrap up this duet. The writing was stronger in this story than in book one, and the characters were a bit more complex this time around. I loved that there was more fluff but I still loved the suspense that was constantly lurking. I say give this duet a definite try, but go into it open-minded.
