Summer with a star. This book is boring. I skipped most of the pages and that was still left too many. Don't waste your time!

Overall good story. I was getting so tired of the main character doubting herself tho!!! That got wayyyy too frustrating for me... Man up girl!

Sand dollar. Interesting read, just wish they would stop the bad language, it doesn’t add to the story. Truly there are enough words to use others, without being low class.

Mostly Irritating. I tried to finish the book and while I like some aspects of the two main characters, the dialogue in this book is mostly amateur. It's also irritating the way Tasha talks down on herself throughout the book.

Heartwarming. I loved this heartwarming book because of the honesty of the lead characters, the witty dialogue, fun supporting characters, and scenes that sizzle. As a celebrity, Spencer finds himself burned out and needing time away from the public eye. He gets more than he bargained for during his vacation. You never know when or where you're going to find love. Although I was often irritated by the inner turmoil of Miss Pike, the book reveals her journey of learning to trust and feel worthy which can be rocky.

Excellent summer read. This is a great little summer read. The characters are well described and interesting. Set in a beautiful beach town in Maine, highly recommend.

Summer with a Star. This story has potential. It's a nice read and a cute idea, but it reads like a draft rather than a polished final product. The typos are numerous and take away from the story. Quite simply, this book needs serious editing.
