A Fun and Exciting Read!. “Going Down” is the first book in Jayne Rylon’s “Divemasters” series, and it was fantastic. This book focuses on Archer, a reluctant billionaire who is trying to right the wrongs from his past, and Waverly, the girl who got away. Once again, Jayne has delivered an exciting story, fun characters, and all the twists and turns a reader could want. I loved that she incorporated a concept from her “Men in Blue” series (because for all her loyal readers like myself, I enjoy when series and characters cross over), and that she focuses on the importance of friendship….in addition to all the romance. As with all of Jayne’s books, the chemistry between Archer and Waverly is hot, hot, hot, and his relationship with his two best friends and Banks, Archer’s former butler and mentor, is genuine and real. I cannot wait to read the next two books! *I was given an advanced copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome. Archer Banks relishes his carefree lifestyle. Together with friends and fellow divemasters, Miguel Torrez and Tosin Ellis, he travels the world, SCUBA diving by day, entertaining lonely female tourists by night. Until his father dies, instantly transforming Archer from a beach bum to a billionaire by shackling him with an enormous, undesired inheritance. With the help of his family’s longtime butler, Archer is determined to turn his new golden handcuffs into a golden opportunity. Never in his worst nightmares does he expect their maiden voyage to be such rough sailing. Not only is Archer’s old crush, Waverly Adams, among their passengers, but the men have also stumbled upon a vast sunken treasure—one worth killing for. Archer has his own horrible memories of his night with Waverly and ran from that occurrence and his father's meddling. Waverly's life was shattered and she was left alone to pick up the pieces by herself. She is ready for a relaxed job and working for Archer is a sweet bonus. Neither one of them are ready for their undeniable passions, nor the dangers of the first voyage. There are some very definite problems but they act like mature adults and talk about what is going on. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Going Down. I didn't know what to expect when I started this book but was soon hooked into the story and the way it developed. The back story of the main two characters was released slowly and the book was all the better for it. The story itself was quite different from any contemporary story I have read recently. A love story which turned into a thriller is just my kind of book. The authors knowledge of SCUBA diving was evident so that helped to keep the story accurate and real. I received this book free in return for an honest review. It was an easy book to review. I just loved it. I now intend to buy the remaining books in the series. It was that good.

An excellent read. I received an ARC for an honest review. This is just the book I needed to escape real life and murky weather. I love the humour in this book especially Banks, it's been a while since I have laughed out loud whilst reading. Other plus points for the book are how well written and researched it is. Big yays for Mr R. As mentioned in the dedication for going with Jayne on their research trips. I won't give any of the plot away but just to say I loved the first book in the Divemasters series and can't wait to see where the others lead.

Life isn't always what we hope for. Awesome read I was captivated from the very beginning. Strong and diverse characters blended with an intriguing tale of the life one desires versus the the life one is destined for. Loved the language, loved setting, loved Archer

What a fantastic start to a new series. This is book one in the newest series Divemasters from Jayne Rylon and I was excited to read this as I have been intrigued about this new group of characters since I first learned about the series. This is Archer Banks and Waverly Adams. At the heart of this book is that family is not always blood related. Family is who you choose to have in and surrounding you; often it is those friends who become your family and that shone through in this book. I loved the camaraderie between Banks and Archer; at times it was comical reading the banter between them. Archer’s two best friends, who will also get their own books, Tosin and Miguel were extremely interesting characters and I cannot wait to read their stories. The descriptions of the places they visit came alive to me whilst I was reading and I really felt at times that I could see what they were seeing. There was regret, miss-communication, romance, hot action, dominance, suspense, danger and mystery woven throughout this book and I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between Archer and Waverly is scorching. Well done Jayne Rylon you have another winning series on your hands. Thoroughly loved it and cannot wait to read more in the series.
