Kept me turning the pages!. I was so invested after reading Black. Rose is so strong but loves hard. The twist and turns I didn’t expect and had to go back and reread pages to make sure I didn’t miss any details because I tend to be a fast reader. Can’t wait to read White next.

Loved it and Will read again and AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!. I was heart broken on the first one and Ik it will always be my favorite but this book just wraps Rose and blacks story beautifully. I haven’t started the next book but if you are looking for a good read i suggest this series❤️

Red is the Perfect Companion to Black. This book was amazing!!! I was privileged to receive an ARC of this book and I couldn’t put it down. I kept wanting to read it every chance that I could get! This is a dark novel. I like to warn people before they get into a book if it's dark because I know some people aren't fans. Well, I am a fan! So, Red started off just where Black had ended. And let me pause for a second and say that the cliffhanger at Black had me so anxious to read more!! It was a relief that Smith had made this choice, as many readers - myself included - needed that closure as to why the first book had ended the way it had. It's difficult for me to review content as there are probably many readers of my review who haven't read the first book. Liam Black has a new persona which leaves the reader completely questioning why and how this has happened and who had conceived such an awful scheme. This of course gets answered near the end of the book, and each page I read left me wanting so much more and needing to know where the characters go. Due to the huge character shift of Liam Black, it made me feel as if I was reading a completely different character. I think it was a nice change from the stone cold Liam Black that we all knew from the first book. But what I thoroughly enjoyed was the glimpses that we got from his past and who he truly is as a person until things come full circle. Don't even get me started on the tumultuous relationship between Black and Rose. It seems that even though five years have passed, they still have this deep love and adoration toward each other and yet there are still at odds with so many things. Much as with Black, Red has explicit sex scenes, but again, they are done where you don't feel dirty reading them. I think that with Red, the focus is so much more on Rose and her dealing with the new Black and trying to rekindle everything they once had. T.L. Smith doesn't fail with her beautifully poetic writing style once again. I am just amazed at how well it is woven in the book with so much ease. I think that the poetic prose is necessary for a book that is so dark for it to be able to have elements of poeticism that is relative with love--such as the love with Rose and Black. I have a minor nitpicky note on a couple things. There are a few places where the dialogue is confusing on who is talking, but it isn't distracting to a huge degree. And as with the previous novel, there were a few places also where there was vagueness on who was talking to Black. The story is first person, so it betrays that first person point of view because Black would have been acknowledging who the person is and not saying "he." Other than those small notes, I fell in love with Red much as I did with Black. Huge warning! There is another cliffhanger!! I think T.L. Smith likes to torture my soul! This book was even better than Black, and I didn't think that would be possible with how much I loved Black. Red gets a 5 star rating hands down!!

HIGHLY recommended books & series!!!. After being left on a HUGE cliffhanger in Black I was dying to get my hands on Red. I have absolutely loved Liam and Rose's story from page one... starting back when they were 16 years old.. something that Red, if nothing else, proves that nothing will keep two soul mates apart. At the end of Black we all thought we had lost Liam and now he's back.. with an added, torturous twist. This book TORE my heart out at times, I love Rose and her strength getting through these past five years but my god how my heart hurt for her again and again. This book was a roller coaster of emotions and I did not want to put it down!? HIGHLY recommended books & series! And we're once again left with a killer cliffhanger!? Can't wait for book #3 now!!!

One of the best books I’ve ever read. I loved this book and I enjoyed every word of it and I couldn’t put it down , I just wanted to figure out what will happen with black and roses love story it’s a great book highly recommend reading it

Completely addicting. Apart from where this book refers to Rose’s ex as Robert & not Ralph, these books are utterly captivating. Amazing storylines that flow seamlessly in to one another, full of detail without losing the point. Characters that you cant help to fall in love with or loathe entirely. I for one can not wait to read Jake’s story, White.

Black is back. After Black left us on a huge cliffhanger we couldn't wait to get wrapped up in the second installment, Red. When you pick up a book by TL Smith you know you are in for one hell of a ride, the suspense keeps you on edge. The suspense builds and builds and when it explodes she blows you away, we are often left thinking, “How the hell did she come up with that?” Red is just as twisted and eventful as Black, you will not want to put it down until you reach the last page! Both living very individual lives, Black and Rose have been apart for five years. With Rose thinking Black is dead, she carries on with life the best she can. Looking after her kids with the help of Jake, family and close friends and her job. But on the night of her fundraising gala, someone from her past will rip through her life and tear down all the walls she has worked so hard to erect. “A part of me wishes I could ask for it back-I want my heart back. I want to not feel broken inside. I want to feel me. I can't, all I feel is for him. He steals my thoughts. He steals my heart. He stole my soul.” Black is a shell of his former self, after waking from an accident he has no memory of who he is. He has no memory of his past or Rose, he doesn't remember her, but his dreams at night haunt him, the voice he hears is like a calling and the eyes are so captivating. “It's the eyes, her eyes that I always watch. The blue in them, the way I can see so much reflected in the . Like they're made to see only me, to love only me. Then she disappears, and everything goes Black…” He is a brother to his MC club, he's the hit man. But things in his life just don't feel like they fit right, the only thing that feels right is when he has a gun in his hand. His girlfriend Savannah is constantly by his side, she has been from the moment he woke up, filling in the missing pieces of his life that he can't remember. “I've lived with this feeling for the last five years. I've felt somehow damaged, somehow I fixable. Like something is missing, but what? That's the question.” He may have no memory but this life doesn't sit right with him, while on a job, he meets a man, someone who speaks of his past. Someone who is about to change everything in his world. “Do you see me, Rose. I see you, Liam Black. Do you see me? I ffing see you like a freight train, and it's going to ffing hurt, isn't it? It is Liam. The best hurt you have had in a long time.” Wow all we can say is we want more! TL’s twisted and captivating writing takes us on a journey that is emotional, dark and fast paced. With Jake's book next in line, we can't wait to see how the story evolves.

❤️ ADDICTED ❤️. I received an ARC for an honest review. Once again Red is told from Dual perspectives and T.L Smith has nailed them both. I love that the reader has an insight into what both Characters are thinking and feeling and will take you on a journey that will make your head spin and leave you wanting. I fell in love with Black and Rose in Black, and felt every bit of their Damaged souls. I was shattered throughout the book, until I got to the massive Cliffhanger at end and found myself yelling Nooo, It can't end here. Fast forward 5 years (thank god we didn't have to wait that long for Red) and Life as Liam and Rose know it is no longer the same, they are not the same people anymore....they say time heals all wounds but for these 2 Damaged souls has there been too much time to ever go back? A lot has happened in 5 years, will Black remember the life he started to live with Rose, will he understand the feelings he had for her or will his new life complicate that beyond repair? Why for the last 5 years has he been plagued by a blond woman in his dreams? And why does his new life not seem genuine to Him? Rose has had enough heartache to last a lifetime but when her past and her present collide in a way she thought would never be possible, will it be too late or can the whole in her heart be mended once and for all. There is only so much she can take before she decides she can't do it anymore, no matter what was before. Red is fast pasted and action packed and will leave the reader wanting more of Black and Rose. There were elements throughout this book where I thought I knew what was coming only to be thrown a curve ball, which kept me wanting more. Another fabulous read by T.L Smith. Fantastic. Once again I'm caught up with Black and Rose. Wow it's a good read. Love their story. Love the way it's written. Looking forward to reading the next one.
