Awesome. A very good book

Well Written. There was no awkward imagery as seen in many romances and there were some truly lovely passages that made my heart pang. I also appreciated the pacing and that the main characters denial about their feelings early on was not overly drawn out.

Wedding Affair. Decent book. Felix comes back to claim his lost love just in time before she marries another man. Classic romance.

Good Book. I enjoyed this book and as a Navy wife for 19 years. It was interesting as I never had to fight to marry someone else, but our stay at home took all those years and his many trips at sea. Our love journey lasted 57 years.

Good Book. The story was well written and moved along nicely! There was enough passion to make it enjoyable! However, I am not one for “too much” in the bedroom details, and though this book had some, it wasn’t overwhelming to the point that I had to leave the book.

Good story. Good story. Good characters. Especially Felix and the duke. Sally could be quite annoying. While the writing was awkward at times, overall story pulled you in enough to not care (much). With some editing and a better cover, this could be great.

Fantastic start to new series!. Ohhhh! Such a wonderful start to a new series. Will leave you wanting more. The story starts with Lady Sally Ford, who has decided it’s time to put the past behind her and move forward with her life, She wants marriage and children and Lord Elliott fits her requirements. Hopefully in time she will learn to love him. Captain Felix Hastings has for six long years, kept his promise, well mostly,to stay away from any Ford. Not easily done when in the Navy and so are several Ford’s. So receiving orders to appear at his Admiral’s home immediately, who happens to be the father of his one and only true love was baffling. Why after all these years after his broken engagement with Sally, has the Admiral requested his appearance? Not all appears as one would expect. Sally is confused with her feelings for Felix, Lord Elliott appears to be a fortune hunter and Felix only wants to set things right between Sally and himself. To explain the past. A well paced story of second chances, a meddling family. A bit steamy, but not over done. A real page turner that will keep you in thralled till the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The Wedding Affair. This was a good read. The characters were well developed and the story was doled out in such a way that you didn’t want to put it down because you needed to see if what you thought was coming was correct or not.
