Island of Glass Book Reviews
Island of Glass by Nora Roberts Book Summary
The final Guardians Trilogy novel from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Bay of Sighs and Stars of Fortune.
As the hunt for the Star of Ice leads the six guardians to Ireland, Doyle, the immortal, must face his tragic past. Three centuries ago, he closed off his heart, yet his warrior spirit is still drawn to the wild. And there’s no one more familiar with the wild than Riley—and the wolf within her...
An archaeologist, Riley is no stranger to the coast of Clare, but now she finds herself on unsure footing, targeted by the dark goddess who wants more than the stars, more than the blood of the guardians. While searching through Irish history for clues that will lead them to the final star and the mysterious Island of Glass, Riley must fight her practical nature and admit her sudden attraction to Doyle is more than just a fling. For it is his strength that will sustain her and give her the power to run towards love—and save them all...

Becca. Loved loved loved!!! Favorite author, never disappoints!
Island of Glass. Worth the wait. Great read! Didn't want it to end? Nora Roberts is a prime story teller.
Not the best.... I loved the first two books and this one did nothing for me. I felt some of the story was missing here.
Stars Trilogy. Really like this series, of course every book by Nora Roberts is excellent. People are believable and interesting. The women are strong, courageous, take charge kind of women, no poor little woman, cringing, clinging vines. I think I've read and reread all of her books I've gotten my hands on. Ive read every one of her J D Robb In Death series. She's the best! Thank you Miss Roberts, may you keep writing until The Stars fall again.
The review is Wordy but worth it. As a disabled single mother of 2 I must watch my money carefully. My only indulgence is books. I swore I'd slow down to make the series last longer.... Never was it possible. Nora Roberts is as magical as her characters. She has given me peace of mind by taking her readers so far into the story all real world stresses are momentarily gone. As you can see it was released on 12/6/16. I am writing this on 12/7/16. I failed to keep my promise to myself to slow down not knowing that was an unachievable goal. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE every magical word of this trilogy and all she wrote before it. Most of all, being disabled with 2 diseases with no cure, it inspires me to write when inspiration is so hard to find in my life right now. I cannot praise this enough and pray that others find as much joy as I did. And will again as I'll read this over & over & over!!!
Best Yet - Believable Fantasy. I've been a fan of Nora Roberts for over 20 years, and have read all her annual novels and most trilogies. This was by far the best yet. Only Nora could weave fantasy and magick into a contemporary story and deliver with the believability that this incredible story could actually happen. The characters are rich and textured, flawed and lovable. Her mythology rang true of a story I'm sure I never heard but somehow should have. I found myself reading the end as I didn't want to leave this fantasy world of good vs evil, love conquers all, family is who you choose to call family and anything is possible with a true heart. Incredibly well written, the Island of Glass was a satisfying conclusion to the Guardians Trilogy. This is by far Ms. Roberts best work yet. Nothing formulaic about this story, she keeps it fresh. I savored every word and hated to see the story end. So real and believable, part of me believes the six guardians are somewhere going on with their life I this time and space. We just can't see it. Perfect, consumable and something to read again and again.
Great series, but.... I thought the final pairing of Riley and Doyle lacked connection. At least it didn't do as much "you matter to me" dialogue. Yay. Another pet peeve...do we really have to keep the "magickal" spelling? Now that I've aired my grievances lol - I was delighted with the tale of all 3 books and recommend them!
Loved this series. I am a Nora Roberts fan - and this series did not disappoint. I was so sad when I finished the last book. I wish there were more in this series.
Trilogy of the stars. I love this series, I have read it many times and have really enjoyed each time.
Stars of Fortune. Just finished Island of Glass, the 3rd in the trilogy. What an amazing work of incredible imagination! So captivating! Way to go, Nora!
Island of glass. Awesome series! Everything she writes is worth reading
