Love this book!!. I'm so glad DGS decided to keep going with Rose and NK. I look forward to Rose more than any other books. This one did not disappoint. You never know who did it and she always has you guessing. I love who Rose is becoming. Thank you for this amazing book!

Family Jewels. I'm a big fan of Denise's writing and of the Rose Gardener series in general so it's no big surprise that I loved this book. Every one she writes is better than the last and this one is no exception. I'm grateful she saw the need to bring the events of the first series to a conclusion. It gave us an ending that exceeded our expectations; and what an ending it was! With that said, I definitely was not ready to leave Rose and her world behind. This new series keeps in line with what Denise had in place with Rose. She's let her character grow and change with events helping to make her more real to us readers. I am looking forward to the next release and can't wait to see what Denise will come up with.

If you’ve read the Rose Gardner Mysteries all the way through Sins of the Father, you might wonder what else there is to tell in the world of Denise Grover Swank’s fictitious Fenton County, Arkansas universe. Ahhh. Love this series. The writer is fantastic and I've fallen in love with the characters. I've been with this series since the beginning, and I'm so grateful it's continuing. Just wish I could have them faster! Keep up the great work!

How can I wait until April!!. These series are the best I've ever read. I literally don't know how I am going to wait until April to read the next one!! I'm so on the edge with everything after finishing this book and my heart still hopes for Joe and Rose to make their way back to each other but after this book I got into wanting Rose and James together! Ugh amazing amazing! April better come fast!!!!

Amazing Author. I am so intrigued by this series and all the characters. I love that Rose is admitting her feelings for Skeeter and I hope that relationship continues to grow! Can't wait for the next book!

Simplistic writing. I had high hopes for this writer, and sadly she seems to write more like a YA market author. It’s not bad writing, it’s boring and immature for a reader who devours Sandford, Crais, Coben, Kellerman, Laarson, Cornwall, Evanovich, Grafton, Turrow, Silva, Scottoline, Grisham, Fairstein, etc...

Great book/Series - a must read!. Denise Grover Swank has done it again. She is amazingly talented and this is one of my favorite series I have ever read. The whole book keeps you on the edge while you are reading it. Rose and Neely Kate are an amazing duo. You definitely want to read this whole series! I have gotten several friends and family hooked on it! *I received and early copy for my honest review.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rose!!. This is a fan-freaking-tastic follow up of the Rose Gardner Mystery Series. I fall more in love with Rose with every book. I have watched her grow from an innocent, naive girl into a strong, brave, independent and loving woman. She has a heart of gold and will do anything to protect those she loves. She is struggling with fallout from past decisions; wanting to move forward and live a calm, normal life. But that isn't the Rose way and she soon finds herself in the middle of crazy, humorous, yet dangerous situations. As usual, Neely Kate, her best friend, is right there alongside her. I love the relationship that they have. They are always there for each other, no questions asked. Denise always draws you into the book so you feel that you are right there along with the characters. I have been reading Rose for the past 4 years and will continue to do so as long a Denise Grover Swank will write her. Just wish she could write faster, lol. I will be anxiously waiting for the next book. Everyone should read this book and the entire back books.

You will love Denise Grover Swank’s Rose !. First of all a warning…you will get addicted. In order to understand the characters and story line, I suggest you read the Rose Gardner Mysteries first. Then read “Family Jewels” and the story will hold onto you like few books. Denise Grover Swank is an author like few people. She writes great plot lines with amazing characters! This book is one of the best but in order to truly appreciate start at the beginning and work down to Family Jewels which is the first of the Rose Gardner Investigations…but in the story line Rose Gardner Mysteries start at the beginning! You will join the rest of us totally hooked Rose and NK addicts!

Loved "Family Jewels". Another Rose and Neely Kate gripping adventure! As soon as I finish a Rose Gardner book I look forward to the next one. I can't get enough of the cast in Henrietta County. I absolutely love the books. Thank you for allowing us to follow these characters through good times and bad. They bring out all my emotions of happiness, tears, anxiousness, fear and joy. Cindyb

Absolutely LOVE!. Denise Grover Swank has been writing Rose Gardner books for a while now. This one is an addition to the previous Number and a half series, and you don't even have to read them to get into the new series! The beauty is, her development and the way she wrote this book is unmatched. The caracter growth in each character is the absolute best! She even has a good view on advice and the way morals should and could be defined. Each character has a unique personality, and what's better is that she really did a wonderful job with this book! I can't wait to read more and I hope Rose Gardner continues to be written! I love this book and will read it again and again!

New Series is a Must Read!. Oh my stars and garters! Wow, I was not expecting all that in the first book in the Rose Gardner Investigations series. But let's face it, I could probably make that statement after almost every Rose book I have every read, there's always excitement and curveballs you never expect. Between the Sins of the Father Novella and the start of this book, several months have passed since the craziness of JR Simmon's demise and Mason's departure from Rose's life, Rose and her landscaping company are back to business as usual (with some laugh out loud humor courtesy of Neely Kate's kin in the opening scenes of the book), Joe is back on the job, and life around Fenton County seems relatively normal. Rose and Neely Kate are quickly pulled into their first paying investigation looking into some missing family jewels, which of course turns into something more sinister and dangerous than it would ever appear when taking on the case. Their investigation leads them through many twists and turns, provides some laughs but puts them into quite a few "tense" situations. And not surprising, the family jewels end up playing a role in the battle for helm of the Fenton County underworld. I can't say enough about how much admiration I have for the growth of Rose throughout the previous series and how it's truly come to fruition in the new storyline. She has become a bit of a firecracker, bold and confident in herself and her abilities. Yes, she's still mending a broken heart, but she's testing the waters of dating again in this book, and the date is totally Rose, that's all I'll say. There's a strong presence of Neely Kate in this book too, which I love, and there are a lot of hints of secrets that's she's keeping from Rose and probably everyone else too. Joe is off looking for Ronnie to help put that part of her life behind her as well, so I think there's a lot of exciting things in store for us from Neely Kate soon. Of course this review wouldn't be complete without saying how much I was just so beyond words (literally) excited at the interactions of two characters in this book. I mean, I could go on and on and on, but you just need to read this amazing book for yourself to fully understand how wonderful it was and how excited I am for the next installment.

Rose Gardner is Back!. As an avid Rose Gardner fan, Family Jewels may very well be my favorite book yet. Rose's growth from the innocent girl to the confident woman she is has become is a testament to DGS's writing skills. Family Jewels can be read as a standalone or a continuation of her story from the Rose Gardner Mystery Series.

Obsessed!!. An amazing start to what I already know will be an amazing series. This book was a roller coaster of emotions for me and I couldn’t put it down until I finished. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book to come out because I am definitely hooked. I hope Denise Grover Swank keeps writing about Rose and her friends for a very, very long time.

Yay Rose is back!. I love Rose and was so excited that Denise decided to create another series for her. This book starts right where the last series ended. Most of the characters make appearances in this book. But it differs slightly with Rose and Neely Kate investigating a missing necklace as the main story line. It's non stop action, and laughs at Neely Kate and Rose's adventures. And once again they find themselves in the middle of dangerous situations. With help from unexpected characters, this is the great start to a new series.

Rose!!. I love Rose and Neely Kate! I have read every book in The Rose Gardner Series. I have loved every one of them. Always exciting and keeps me on my toes and can never put it down!!

OMG.... A hysterical, suspenseful, crime/love story full of colorful characters. Once you get into the book don't expect to want to put it down.

Denise Grover Swank never disappoints!. I've read all of the Rose Gardner mysteries, and I've enjoyed watching Rose grow and develop her character from a timid young adult to a self assured woman throughout her many novels and novellas. Family Jewels is five star just like the others! Denise Grover Swank has done an excellent job with her characters, adventures, mysteries, challenges, and love stories. She never disappoints!!

Love, Love, Love!. As with all the other Rose Gardner books, this is an addictive read and very hard to put down. I loved the new potential romance with James, he's much more suited to Rose than dull Mason. It will be interesting to see if this relationship develops.....so excited for the next book!!
