Alex by Irish Winters. Darling and intense story. Love and loss and grit.

Alex. It was different. Very involved. It seemed to bog down at times

Modern romance. This is not a genre I usually enjoy but this one had a bit of psychological mystery in it and some family drama with a strong tough woman protagonist so it improved the sappy love story.

Best Book Ever!!!. Loved, Loved, Loved this book!!!! Best I’ve read that’s a military romance. 100% recommended this book!!!

Alex. Good story.

Good read but something missing. The first 2/3 of the book was a great read. But then things happened that were not explained. Like how did the ex-husband show up at the cabin when he should be in prison for murder. Did I miss a page? What happened to the Ex mother-in-law? Is she still out there?

Alex. Wow & wow! This book is so good. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I loved the story & the characters. Very emotional.

Absolutely lovely. This is an extremely touching book that manages to be both emotionally stirring and full of action. I was hesitant to give this book a try since a lot of authors push a grief plot into a love story in a way that ruins both. Definitely not the case here. I couldn’t put this story down until it resolved. I haven’t read the rest of the series yet, but based on the strength of these protagonists and the supporting characters, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy them!

It was fantastic. Gripping with excitement through and through.. Characters were troubled yet determined to survive the hand life dealt them. I recommend this book. It had everything.

A super thriller. So much suspense. Not Alex and the woman had live losses but they found each other to begin the healing process. Some violence and sex was porno. Loved this book.

Potential. Generally a good story but it was soooo drawn out. This book could’ve been MUCH shorter and more enjoyable to read. While I understand setting the scene is imperative, it just dragged on and on. Too many paragraphs wasted describing the most irrelevant things in excruciating detail. Also a lot of unnecessarily long scenes. If the story was more compact and written with a little bit more lightness it would’ve been so much better. It had the potential but was so dark and long. P.S. when I talk about the darkness, I am aware that the story touches on very serious matters, however the characters never had a break. Even during the times when they were finally showing their love, the tone of the writing was so serious and gloomy (with minor exceptions).

Tragic. Beautiful love story with lots of tragedy and sadness. Their ability to heal and overcome pain in the name of live was inspiring. Great read!

Very Moving. Bawled like a baby through the entirety of the book, but it was an absolutely beautiful story. Highly recommend!

The best!. I loved this book with the wonderful characters and a storyline that makes you angry, sad, cry, and sigh at the different twists and turns in this book! Highly recommend reading this page turner.

Amazing!. This book brings out so many emotions and show so much heart and healing. You must read it with a box of Kleenex and a soft fire glowing. I wasn't able to put it down. Courage, faith and love are triumphant over all.

Holes. Loved this book. This being said, there were holes in the storyline that you could drive a truck through. How did the husband get out of prison and how did they not know it, especially when he knew right where to find them. How did the author not make any mention of what happened to the mother- in-law. Captured, died, still on the run.....just something to close the gap.

Wow, what a wild ride.. This book grabs you at the first page & doesn't let go. Just when you think it is settling down it takes off again at 110 mph. Twists & turns are like a mountain road with no guard rails. Loved it & looking forward the remainder of the series.

Alex.. I would recommend this book to all who like action packed and romance of a well written book.

Must Read. This book is a definite MUST read. I enjoyed this book so, so much. Very hard to put down. I loved the characters of Kelsey and Alex and especially Harley ( can’t wait to read his story) he as so much fun. I will definitely read more books by Irish Winters. ❤️❤️❤️

5 stars. What an awesome touching story! Two broken and “lost” people finding each other and learning to cope and love again facing their pasts while dealing with bad people too. I enjoyed the book tremendously.

Wonderful!. As a new mother of twin boys it was very hard to read in places so be forewarned. But what a beautiful story.

How to Find Love Again. First time I have read this author and I like a romantic suspense if all the parts are there. I would like to not infer anything and want to know how the ex-husband was released from prison for killing his sons and how the ex-m-i-law was still on the loose. There was a sweet romance by the two main characters both with similar remorse. Somehow characters just seems to get together no matter their background or career status. I liked that they were carrying their burden well and moving on in their life. I hope all the books are not similar.

Alex. I loved everything about this book! It was an exciting and thrilling adventure from beginning to end!i think I read the whole book in a day ,it was that compelling! Each page was a facet of the whole. A truly well written book with every element a reader of Romance will love! Please read this book you won’t regret it! Tubby5048

Alex. I so throughly enjoyed this book! I usually like love stories from the1800’s but thought I’d try this one. It was a complete surprise as to the great characters, clean romance, intrigue that I could hardly put it down. It was well written and very real as I was there with the main characters. I’m anxious to start book by Irish .

Beautiful. Not my usual cup of tea but I thoroughly enjoyed. Such a beautiful and moving story. Loved the slow and gentle pace yet there was always something happening and the author has a way of drawing you in more and more. Great mix of characters and loved the quirky personalities. Smoke and whisper I want to adopt!
