Sacrificial Love. Michelle M. Pillow’s second book in her ‘Dragon Lords’ series is magnificent! It has mystery, adventure, suspense and steamy romance. Olek and Nadja, the main characters, have been destined by the gods to be together. But there are so many obstacles in their way that it doesn’t seem like they will ever consummate their marriage. This was an exciting book to read. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

Enjoyable. These Qurilixen stories are so interesting. The customs of a new planet are intriguing to learn. Nadja had no idea what she was getting into when she boarded the Galaxy Brides ship to escape her father. Prince Olek and Nadja are both very confused with the reactions of each other. Beautiful. I confess that I am addicted to the Dragon Lords series. Book two is about the youngest son Olek and the Medical Mafia's head boss Doc Aleksander's daughter, Nadja. Each book within this series reveals the SAME main events just from THOSE characters perspectives. It took me a moment to realize this that the same events just from the different characters perspective. If you read the books in order (unlike me) the reader will still benefit the characters introduction from what caused them to be on the Galaxy Brides ship to be with their spouses. Its an amazing read whether books read in order or not. Again the brilliance to this series of shifters and science fiction.

I loved the story!. I love this series and was excited to read the anniversary edition. I fell in love with Qurilixen and the characters all over again. I love the simple ceremony and the faith that the men believe in finding their mate. Nadja is probably the only prospective bride that doesn’t want a princes that are mentioned to be at the ceremony. Everything goes well until she realizes Olek is a prince. Prince Olek is not sure what has changed but knows Nadja is the one for him. Will he be able to convince her? I always appreciate how the author develops the characters to the point where you really feel like you know them and understand their situation. Nadja and Olek. Nadja Is running from her father and the fiancé chosen for her. Her father is the head of the Medical Mafia. He is cruel and ruthless. He has controlled Nadja her entire life. Now she is escaping. The spacecraft leaving is taking brides. The Galaxy Brides is short several women so Nadja is told to board. She and several others are taken to Qurilixian. There they will be selected by masked potential grooms. Prince Olek is participating in the Breeding Festival with his brothers and cousins. He is masked and as the women walk past his crystal lights up for the one. He has found Nadja. She seems happy with him until the next morning. She doesn’t want a prince. But the are married after the crystal was smashed. Now he must deal with an unhappy bride. However, making cures for medical treatments is her passion. Yet she is secretive and scared of something. A good story about two people with secrets that need to learn to trust each other. Has a HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Good. A good story set in an interesting and imaginative world. I liked the paranormal aspects of the story. I wasn’t a great fan of hers though. I understood she wanted a different life from what she had but she sure didn’t act like she deserved it. I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review. Great read. Loved this book. Very interesting read. Like every book by Michelle M. Pillow, I couldn’t put it down. I loved how the characters had different family dynamics. I also love how she portrayed the love of a daughter for her father even after he hurt her

Love these Dragon Lords!. “Once you break the crystal it can never be undone, not in death or separation.” Oleg explained this to Nadja and she acknowledged the finality of what he was saying. Based on their instant connection I thought they would be perfect together but unfortunately Nadja has issues and by the half way point of this book I wanted him to somehow figure out a way to dump her and find another more worthy woman. Oleg is so amazingly perfect and she did not deserve him. She’s the most selfish, glass half empty heroine I’ve ever encountered in a book. It wasn’t his fault she made assumptions about him and being angry because he’s a prince was just ridiculous. How could she think her father would be more powerful that the son of the King and Queen? She kept so much from him but then constantly faulted him for his own secrets. He was sweet, kind, strong, handsome and loving and she still wasn’t happy. The book would have been more enjoyable with a more likeable heroine. The rest of the book was great. The world building is incredible and so real. I can’t wait to read the next book, and the next, and the next. I’m really loving these Dragon Lords! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hot as Dragon’s Breath!. Such a good read! Nadja and Olek have a lot to overcome and wow, do they ever! Nadja is on the run from her maniac father. She finds herself passage on a Galaxy Brides ship and during the Breeding Festival is matched with Olek. Both are strong personalities and they clash as much as they click. Sparks fly, tensions rise. Olek & Nadja. Nadja Alexsander lives a life basically as a prisoner. Her wealthy father does not allow her to live her life as she wishes. Her father has basically controlled her whole life. She cannot do anything without him knowing. Now she is engaged to a terrible man that her father has chosen. Nadja decides to escape. She will find and leave on a ship going anywhere. She ends up on a ship bound to Qurilixen as a Galaxy Bride. Nadja will marry a simple man and live in obscurity. Once she arrives on the planet she meets Olek in a mating ceremony. She is chosen by him and she accepts. They have an instant spark that turns into a fire of desire. The next day she finds out that Olek is not a simple man but a prince. Nadja is upset by this because she is afraid her father will be able to find her more easily. Olek is patient with Nadja. They have good chemistry together. Will Nadja allow Olek into her heart? Will she admit to Olek that she is being pursued by her mafia father? Will she finally be able to escape her father? Will she ever find peace and a happy marriage with Olek? The story flows and keeps you entertained and turning the pages. There are some steamy scenes. This is book two in the Dragon Lords series. The author has created a wonderful world. A good read. A pretty good read. Plot runs along at a nice pace. Sat and read it in an afternoon. Never read it first time round, but I’m enjoying the anniversary addition.

A Dragon shifter story.. I am a great admirer of Michelle’s writing and I love dragon shifters so was looking forward to reading this book. Another Qurilixen World / Dragon Princes novel. This one is about Prince Olek and Nadja Aleksander a woman who escaped her unwanted arranged marriage in order to find freedom. However things didn’t work out as she hoped. A really interesting, well written and sexy story which keeps you reading and turning the page to see what happens next. Enjoyable. Nadja Aleksander running from a planned marrage signs the contract to becone a galaxy bride and marry a qurixian male. She is chosent by prince OLEK though she wanted a farmer, someone who wouldnt garner much attention especially off world. An enjoyable read and you do not have to have had read the first one before this.

Escape. Having read some of the books later in this series, I was always curious how Nadja and Olek’s story played out. I really liked the mystery/suspense aspect that Nadja brought to this novel. In addition to adjusting to being a bride, many other things she was dealing with really made the plot interesting. With smoking hot and sensual Draig guys and the lure of a HEA through the magic of the crystal matches, this story was a pleasure to read. Dragon Prince. This is very entertaining and enjoyable story even than was a little getting on my nerves. She is a human and he is a Dragon Prince. Since she doesn’t understand well his world she get prickly and doesn’t communicate well. He knows she is his mate and will do anything to win her. Romance, this part was hotter than hot. Love in the Face of Danger. She wanted to escape to a safe quiet life, but he’s a prince and so far, life’s been everything but quiet. Olek and Nadja’s story is both light-hearted and deathly serious, with plenty of sweet along with the heat. What really struck me about this story - really, this series - is the intricacies of the storyline. I’ve read most of the rest of this series, and I marvel at how Michelle M Pillow has woven together a timeline that is cohesive across the books, with snippets of events that are highlighted in one couple’s story being present in another’s. This book and this series are marvels in storytelling, simply stunning.
