Great read. . Couldn’t put it down. The relationship between Korea and Alyssa was fun. It was funny how he kept calling her property mean in his. And she kept getting mad. Love how he was trying to be a good king but follow his heart. Love how his brothers had his back. I love how Michele and pillar gives the cat side of the story. I hated them while reading the dragon World Series. That made reading your story so great

Dragons and Cats. I love this story so much. I got a little tired of Alyssa acting like she did at times. But there were only a few minutes she acted like that. I think the narrators voice does it. It’s sort of whinie in places. I love the series and can’t wait to see what happens next.

The Savage King. This was a great book that I enjoyed reading. It has a wonderful storyline with a good plot with romance heat and steam. I loved Ulyssa and Kirill they had a wonderful chemistry together and I enjoyed watching them. I loved their bantering. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

King of the Cats. “To possess her would be an honor worthy of a king.” Oh my goodness. I didn’t think it was possible but I’m in love with this Var king! Kirill is nothing like his villain of a father and the Var are not at all as they seemed in the Dragon Lords books. Kirill and Ulyssa had instant chemistry and at first I thought there wouldn’t be much conflict between them. I couldn’t imagine how we would get a full book out of them. But then the real plot kicked in and soon I was beginning to worry there wouldn’t be a HEA. Thank god there was. I would have never been able to forgive Michelle if there hadn’t been. I’m extremely excited and looking forward to cat book two. I see it will be Quinn. Yay! He’s so adorable I can’t wait!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kirill and Ulyssa. Agent Ulyssa is undercover as Gena one of the bride potentials. They are arriving on the planet Quirilixen. The royal dragon shifters found their mates among the women on board the Intergalactic bridal spaceship. Gena was not chosen. She escaped into the forests to make contact with her supervisor. She can’t be picked up for 3 months. Ulyssa is captured by the cat shifter king. She is presumed to be part of his harem upon his death. She needs to escape back to her pickup spot. Yet the new king draws her to him. Kirill is the oldest son of his father. He is next in line to become king of the Var. He needs to remove his father’s harem. Most will make marriages. Yet one stands out. She is a strong willed attractive human. Lyssa is hiding something. Due to her comments, she is now his first mate. He doesn’t want a bond mate or half mate. His father’s teaching made him understand that love creates weakness. Good story about two people damaged by their past. Each trying to keep their own secrets. Each have responsibilities and duties of their jobs. Each can’t fight the chemistry and attraction. Each stubborn and refuse to back down on their positions. But the drama, adventures, and chemistry keep them together. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Um, wow. I got this book for free....I’d assumed it would be a boring read and just something to pass time. I was wrong. The king is a typical male, “ I don’t need a woman, but we can still have sex, and I won’t get attached”. The heroine Lyssa is the same exact way. Thing is, love always finds a way!!!! Now off to the other books I go, because I’m HOOKED!!!

A great start to a new series. Another Qurilixen World series novel. This one about the Lords of Var and cat-shifter Kirill who on the unexpected death of his father finds himself king with all the responsibilities that entails. The cat-shifter princes have been raised to believe love is not necessary, especially to one woman, but when Kirill meets undercover Agent Ulyssa he finds his attitude changing. This story is fast paced, well written, with engaging characters and with enough twists and turns to keep you engrossed. I hope the rest of the series keeps up this high standard. The savage king. Horrible. No real plot or story line, lots of adult content but it’s boring.

Qurilixen world. Hi I read this book “ The Savage King: “ A Qurilixen World Novel Book 1 of Lords of the Var… by Michelle M. Pillow A Shape-Shifter Paranormal, Science Fiction, fantasy world, Alien Romance, Part of the Qurilixen World…. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The story from the other side. I really enjoyed the premise of this book that is set during the same time as the Dragon Lords but from the point of view of the “enemy” the Var. As with all of these books by Michelle M. Pillow the book focuses on a single couple and you could read it as a stand alone book but there is so much extra stuff going on in the overall story that you would miss. I recommend that you read the whole lot of books in the order that is on Ms. Pillow’s website, which is not what I did and is why I recommend that you read them in that order. The couple in this book are so different and both have such set ideas about how their lives are going to go. Neither is thinking about sharing a life with someone. Kirill is the cat shifter king who has just inherited the crown when his father was killed and Ulyssa is an undercover agent from another planet. She has been taken prisoner and he finds her in his father’s harem. Much adventure, angst and laughter later…..well it’s a romance you can probably figure it out. The fun thing with Ms Pillow’s writing is that there is a very consistent backstory going on and with each book we learn more about what is going on. I’m really looking forward to seeing what things look like from the Var side of the planet. This book has more emotional angst mostly because of the power imbalance and relationship expectations of the two main characters. The overall story advances a lot as well.
