very cliché. it’s a good book, but very predictable

Heather & Chris. Heather and Chris knew each other before he moved away suddenly and Heather felt betrayed by his departure. She has trust issues after her mother left her and her father when she was young. Her father wants them to live together for six months before he signs his business over to both, as partners. Heather expected the business to be hers completely and never expected to live with anyone, let alone Chris. Heather is stubborn, over opinionated, and self absorbed. She refuses to see any situation from someone else's point of view. When she gets angry at Chris for lying, she has no issue with her father doing the same. Her father confused me. He asked Chris to withhold information from her then said him lying was on him, but not to let Heather know what was going on. How is that not the same thing? I would have liked to know her father's reaction to their relationship. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Room mating. Easy to read, not predictable and entertaining

Room Mates. Roommating by Samantha Chase and Noelle Adams is book 1 of their Preston’s Mills series. Heather has finally finished her MBA and is ready to return home to run her father’s construction/remodeling business. However, her father has a different plan in mind. Tom, her father, wants to split the job, having Heather run the business end and giving the construction portion to Chris. Chris is a family friend who was mentored by Tom, where he learned the trade. Not only does he crush Heather’s dream by this news, he wants Chris and Heather to be roommates for six months. Tom believes the two of them need to be able to get along for them to be able to work together. Heather cannot stand Chris. He left them three years prior after the death of his mom, without giving a reason. Heather believes that Chris has not changed and will not stay. That he will leave like he has before. Chris wants Heather to see that he has changed and plans to be there for the long run. As the two work and live together they realize that their feelings for each other have started growing. However, Heather is unsure that she can trust Chris. Chris is unconvinced he can convince Heather of his feelings while they are co-running the company. This was a fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend this book to other readers. Laugh Out Loud Romance. A laugh out loud sexy romance written by two of my favorite authors. "They were roommates and business partners. And they cold be friendly. But absolutely nothing else." Roommates for six months, that will lead to business partners, ....hmm not going to happen when they have a sizzling chemistry between them. Heather has some trust issues, that Chris will need to deal with. Then there is Flo and Lucy, great secondary characters!! This book must be on everyone's list to read, I highly recommend. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Just friends????. Heather and Chris have a long history, but not a romantic history. When Heather's father decides he is going to retire and not leave the whole company to her, he calls in Chris. In order for Heather and Chris to get ownership of the company they must first live together for 6 months. Heather is beyond mad and Chris seems fine with the arrangement. From day one there is a lot of tension between them. A little over time and with a health scare Heather begins to trust Christ again. As they start to give into their feelings they find that the hard feeling they have experiences in life carry over and don't fully go away without a little faith and trusting. I love that they started out as friends and progressed from there. With luck the next book will be Jace and Isabella's story.

Adorable & Entertaining!. This was a wonderful, adorable, love-hate romance with some great laugh out loud moments that I could not put down. The characters are well developed and were likable as well as real. There were some great secondary characters that really added to the storyline to bring even more funny and crazy to their romance. Little Miss Lucy stole the show in this story, and I loved how she was incorporated into their romance especially in the bedroom. Loved Chris and how he understood and helped Heather through her trust issues. Loved this story so much, and so will you. Highly Recommended! Great start to a new series!!. What a great start to this new series!! I loved the banter between Chris and Heather. They seem to hate each other, but even during that time there's an underlying sexual tension. Heather's dad definitely had something up his sleeve when he put the stipulations on her taking over the business. It was great seeing these two work through their differences, and with the help of a four legged friend find what true happiness is. I hurt for Heather and her trust issues, but seeing her overcome them made the story that much better. This story is definitely a must read!!!

Cute story!. A sweet and sassy story about coming home again, even if you hurt people when you left. Heather Carver is moving home to Preston, Virginia to work with her Dad in his restoration business now that she's finished school. She's excited about putting what she's learned to good use, and to be close to her Dad again. She's not expecting the bomb her Dad drops on her though ... if she wants to take over the business now that he's wanting to retire, she has to agree to partner with the person he wants to do the manual side of things ... the person that she has never forgiven. Christopher Dole walked away from his Mentor and friend Tom Carver 3 years ago, and he's regretted it more than he can say ... he just couldn't stay in town right then, whether it was right or wrong. He's happy to be back now ... but he's not so sure this partner plan of Tom's is going to work ... especially when he puts in the stipulation that they have to be roommates for 6 months first. What is he thinking??

So sweet. This was a great light easy breezy read! Loved everything about it!

Roomating. This was a cute story but it goes to show you when you have an emotional problem you should get help. If you don’t it could ruin your life.

Love Roommating. Heather Carver is heading back to her hometown to start working with her father, getting ready to eventually take it over. When her father drops a bomb on her and tells her not only will she not be taking over the business by herself, but she also has to live with her new business partner for six months. When she finds out it is none other than Chris, the guy that ran out on her father three years prior. With Heather not being happy about that it makes for an interesting read, seeing if and how they will be able to work things out. I really enjoyed this book, you could feel the tension between Heather and Chris. I love the banter between them and how feisty Heather is. Not to mention their nosy but lovable neighbor Ms. Estelle Berry, who adds a bit of comedy, and Heather's adorable dog Little Miss Lucy. You really just can't go wrong reading this book!!

Fun New Series. Roommating is the newest release by Samantha Chase and Noelle Adams and launches their Preston’s Mill series. I loved this one so much! It’s both a friends and enemies to lovers story that has so much humor and witty dialogue that you won’t want to put it down. But it’s not all fun and games both Heather and Chris have some trust issues that lead to some deeply emotional scenes. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Predictable. Didn’t like it at all who going to have a relationship like that not fighting not talking about it is not realistic….

Decent read for free. This book is very intriguing but a little elementary in the way the characters act. It is a short and satisfying read if you are looking for a hot and fast romance!

Recommend!. Worth the download.

Couldn’t put it down!. Could not put this book down! Noelle Adams & Samantha Chase did a wonderful job co-writing Roommating - book 1 of Preston's Mill series. Heather was such a sweetie, but had a few trust issues to work through, understandably so. And Chris was just awesome in general, and pursued what he really wanted. Gotta love a guy like that! I can't wait to see what's in store for this series next.

Worst book EVER!. The ending was abrupt! The girl and guy didn’t even talk out their fight. The author wrote crap! Putting a happy ending after an argument, when realistically the couple wouldn’t be together! There was so many problems the couple didn’t address.

Quick read. This is a sweet romance with some cute dialogue. The dog Lucy was a nice touch. Different roommates story. HEA in the end. Enjoyable.

Great read. Loved this one. Laugh out loud funny with all the witty banter, crazy hot chemistry between Heather and Chris, and the stubbornness they both have all come together to give us one incredible story. These characters (especially Flo!) will steal your heart from the very first page and keep you glued to the pages. Heather comes home, college diploma in hand ready to get to work running her father's restoration business only to find out she will have to work with a partner. Not just any partner either. It's the one man who she believes betrayed both her and her father and she can never forgive him. Just when things don't look like they can get any worse, they do! Not only is she stuck working with Chris Dole but she's also going to have share an apartment with him. Don't miss this one, it's a great read! I highly recommend it.

Crappy characters. I honestly hate of the characters. Chris is a little bit of a manipulative tool and Heather is a total doormat. What she views is Chris’s “romantic gestures” are really just the basic things to make him a decent human. Tolerating her dog and not pressuring her for sex does not a knight make. The writing was okay but it lacked humour and depth.

Roommating. Good characters and storyline. Kept me reading and interested right up to the last page.
