Pretty good!. This book is really good! It explains a lot of things that we may need filled in on in the saga. For example(spoiler alert) In the last hope, Mapleshade speaks to Spottedleaf as if she has history with her, saying “Spottedleaf, she took Firestar’s live from you!” (Or something like that I don’t have the book on me right now) and in the Novella SpottedLeaf’s Heart, Mapleshade is introduced to Spottedleaf in the dark forest. 5 stars!

Chapter 29 of Sunsetsplash's Destiny!. " If enduring pain and loss is a sign of strength, I'd rather be weak. I'd rather be weak, with Smokecloud at my side, and all three of my kits with me. " Sunsetsplash was sitting beside Specklebranch, their fur touching, tails entwined. Leafpaw's body lay in the center of camp, surrounded by her clanmates as they mourned the lost apprentice. Specklebranch was silent for a few moments, before speaking. " Smokecloud's death was terrible, yes. But you can't deny that his body fertilized the soil." " I don't want Smokecloud in the dirt, creating flowers and grass!" Sunsetsplash meowed. " I want him beside me!" Specklebranch licked her briefly across the cheek. " Don't you understand? You've gained so much from his sacrifice — for starters, your life, and your kits." " Their father's dead, and so is L-Leafpaw." Sunsetsplash sobbed. " But you could've died if Smokecloud hadn't saved you. Then it wouldn't just be Leafpaw, but you and Stormpaw and Shadowpaw." Specklebranch stood up stiffly. Dawn light was appearing on the horizon, a milky wash against the dark sky. " Come on, let's go say goodbye one last time, before she's buried." Sunsetsplash sighed, her heart heavy, and followed her mate to Leafpaw, wishing for her sister. Sunsetsplash was sitting in a tree, her claws digging into the bark as she held herself onto the branch. She could see her fawn-furred apprentice scuffling in the undergrowth, her ears pricked, mouth slightly open for scents, and her paws silent and confident. Sunsetsplash felt a flash of pride. Her apprentice was going to become a warrior! Her thoughts drifted back to her kit's naming ceremony, and Shadowpaw's confession the night before. " I've decided that I want to become a medicine cat, mother." The black she-cat had mewed. " It's fascinating, all the herbs and remedies. And you can save your clanmates!" Sunsetsplash had felt a prickle or worry. " But you won't be able to take a mate, or have kits, you know. Are you willing to give that up?" Shadowpaw had nodded. " Yep. There's yet to be a tom that's caught my eye, in ThunderClan or elsewhere, and I've never dreamed of having kits. Fernsight says the whole clan are your kits!" " If you're sure, Shadowpaw," Sunsetsplash had purred, rubbing muzzles with her daughter. " You'll make a wonderful medicine cat!" Now, a moon later, Shadowpaw was still an apprentice, with her apprentice name, but Stormpaw was now Stormcloud, in honor of his father's warrior name. Sunsetsplash purred loudly, then remembered she was supposed to be quiet. Too late! Featherpaw's head swivelled up towards the tree where Sunsetsplash was hidden, and the warrior shrank back into the leaves, away from the young she-cat's narrowed eyes, that couldn't make out the white, tortoiseshell and cinnamon-streaked pelt among the green. Sunsetsplash relaxed when her apprentice returned to her task, and she stayed silent for the rest of the assessment. " Featherstrike! Emberfoot! Willowstem! Deerleap!" All four apprentice's mentors cheered, their yowls second only to Doefeather and Thistlepelt. Splashtail, who had returned to ThunderClan half a moon ago, had shining eyes, although her fur was tangled and dull. Her three rambunctious kits tumbled and scuffled at her paws. Nobody had suspected their half-clan blood, or their RiverClan father — they were intrigued by who the father was, but thankfully no cat pushed the question to hard. Sunsetsplash purred and glanced at her son. Stormcloud looked proud, and his eyes met Willowstem's and he bashfully dipped his head; Willowstem's eyes sparkled. Shadowpaw and Fernsight were sunning themselves outside of their den, piles of herbs at their paws, forgotten. Life was peaceful, in ThunderClan. Prey was running, greenleaf was almost here, and it seemed nothing could break the sleepy cycle of dawn patrols, hunting, sharing tongues and sleeping under the stars. There were no apprentices now, but Splashtail's kits would soon become 'paws. Sunsetsplash purred, and when the crowd broke up, she went hunting with Specklebranch. " Sharpstar! Sharpstar, I found something!" Sunsetsplash yowled outside of the ivy curtain of the leader's den. The tom poked his head out, and Sunsetsplash noticed with a jolt that white hairs specked his black muzzle. Sharpstar was getting old. " Come in." He meowed gravely. Sunsetsplash padded into the den, and started to tell him right away about what she found. " I was hunting earlier, with Specklebranch, along the ShadowClan border, and I scented cats — not ThunderClan, but ShadowClan, RiverClan and even WindClan!" Sharpstar narrowed his eyes. " Three clans, in our territory. . . Why?" " I don't know." Sunsetsplash conceded. " But it seemed like close to twenty cats, by the smell of it. And you know what other scent was there?" She prompted, feeling fear and confusion swirl around her heart like a storm. " What?" " Dark Shadow's scent. He's been gathering cats when he should've left the forest behind him. I think . . . Third chapter of Shadeheart!. CHAPTER THREE: Shade met the leader of ThunderClan shortly after she arrived. He introduced himself as Lightningstar, and then Moonwater whispered in his ear. He stared at her suspiciously. “Where did you find out about Ivywhisker?” He asked. “Um, my dad told me. His friend is her mate.” She wasn’t sure if she’d given too much information, as Lightningstar blew air thoughtfully through his sharp teeth. “What do you know about her mate?” “I’ve never met him.” She carefully didn’t mention that her dad had told her his name and that Ivywhisker was carrying his kits. Lightningstar seemed to be the trusting type, or maybe just the has faith in his scariness abilities type, and didn’t ask for more information. “Are you here because you want to join ThunderClan?” “Maybe? Sure?” She squeaked. “Do you have anyone or anywhere to go to?” Lightningstar asked. “Um, no.” Shade winced. “I’ll do your apprentice ceremony tonight. You are older than six moons, right?” “Yes, I’m seven next week.” “Perfect. You may go.” Shade stumbled out of the den in a daze. She curled up under a bush, not wanting of any of the cats walking around to stop and see her. Shade rested her head on her paws and slept restlessly, never moving but wanting to. She woke up the next day and scurried timidly to the big rock as Lightningstar summoned every cat old enough to hunt. “I bring you today to witness the apprentice ceremony of Cripplekit and a rogue named Shade. Cripplekit, please step forward.” A brown tortoiseshell tom limped towards Lightningstar, dragging one of his back legs behind him. He looked older than her but younger than most of the cats. Maybe 8 or 9 moons? Similar to the five cats standing nearby, black, white, gray, brown, and black and white. She closed her eyes. •My destiny starts here• ~Ivywhisker (heh) For the actual review: I hate thistleclaw even more now. I won’t even go into a rage about it. Spottedleaf’s story was good as well as Thunder’s, but I don’t like Pinestar. He might be the smartest cat in all of the Clans for choosing to live as a kittypet, but I still don’t like him. idk why.

Bro dudes really?!. Y’all are just flat-out jerks!! I mean, Pinetoot? Thundercrap?! The person that made that is crap!! ✨ABOUT SPOTTEDLEAF’S HEART✨ That was a good book! I don’t mind that Spottedpaw and Thistleclaw had a big age difference. I think they could’ve been really cute together (given the chance ofc!) In fact, what annoys me most about their “ could’ve been “ relationship, IS THE FACT THISTLECLAW ALREADY HAS/HAD A MATE!!! SNOWFUR!! Why did y’all forget Snowfur?! (The reviewers not Erin) Like imagine how Whitestorm would have felt!! And I know we all love Whitestorm ❤️. I know Dappletail and Stormtail technically became mates after Moonflower’s death, but they never had kits and they technically were never announced OFFICIAL mates and I could tell Thistleclaw truly loved Snowfur. And if y’all don’t like Thistlepaw/leaf (ThistleclawxSpottedleaf/paw) then you shouldn’t like Thornfall (ThornclawxBlossomfall) or Onetail (OnestarxWhitetail lol i don’t think anyone likes it anyway) b/c they both have huge age differences. Just making a point. ✨ABOUT PINESTAR’S HEART✨ It wasn’t my favorite, like at all. That’s all. ✨ABOUT THUNDER’S ECHO✨ I loved it!! Thunderstar may be my fav founding leader (Shadowstar is a close 2nd though). But seriously?! I loved Lightning Tail!! He was one of my favorites! Uhh. I did some research…and figured out…ERIN HUNTER ISNT A REAL PERSON?!? AND I THOUGHT SHE WAS THIS WHOLE TIME?!? Kinda weird if you think about it! The main writer was Tui T. Sutherland though, which isn’t much of a surprise. Making my kits warriors! Read first.. Mapledawn and ravenfeather sat beside each other watching the kits swim. “Look at me mama!” Blossomkit squealed diving down then jumping into the air. Mapledawn nodded smiling. Her kits splashed in the small shallow stream. “I’m going to get them some fresh kill. I’ll be right back.” She mewed quietly to ravenfeather. “Okay.” They nuzzled each other before she raced off into the trees. She returned to find ravenwings body slumped down. “Ravenwing!” She screeched. She dropped the prey and raced to her mate. His throat was slit and bleeding. “Help! Help!” Mapledawn yowled. The medicine cat-petalfall- emerged. “Mapledawn what in starclan-“ They started. He stopped as he saw ravenwings body. “Help him!” Mapledawn sobbed. “Put your paws on his wound.” Petalfall instructed. Moments passed. It felt like hours. “He’s gone.” Petalfall shook his head. “No!!!” Mapledawn pressed her muzzle into his pelt. Then three bundles of fur washed up. Petalfall approached them. One was white and brown. The other was gray and the other was- black. “NO!!!! NOT MY KITS!!!” She yowled. Jumping to them licking them. Mapledawn tried to warm them. “Their gone Mapledawn.” He whispered. Her mate and kits were dead. All because of that promise. That-that mapleshade! She did this. Buzzardkit, blossomkit, applekit. Im sorry. I did this to you. I killed you. Mapledawn thought. +Don’t worry mama! Starclans cool!+ =Yeah! I love it here! Some cat named mossfeather welcomed us!= $when will you join us?$ Her kits were talking to her. Mapledawn would mourn and grieve but continue. Her kits needed her. &Continue on my love. I will welcome you in starclan and there we can raise our kits together. We will wait.& Ravenfeather! Okay. I will. I love you. Find her kits as warriors in starlight!

A few things about the book(s). Person who dare call Thunder Thunder-crap, why? His father couldn’t love him, because of his grief, and his mother is dead. Get over it. Pinestar’s story is kinda...I don’t wanna say lame...missing some things. I kinda feel bad for Tigerstar a little because his father technically abandoned him, and let’s just cry in a dark corner for a moment, LEOPARDFOOT IS YOUNGER THAN FREAKIN PINESTAR! Spottedleaf’s story made my cry. Cause she dies twice! Well, this kinda made my barf but what the heck, Thistleclaw! Excited. 7/27/16 I love the lore about this whole series, and this title sounds promising. Getting to know some legends and history of these 4 clans. I'm looking forward to it!
