Dumb. Pretty lame and stupid! The girls name is even dumber! Reminded me of the PETA organization! The book was a let down. The intro sounded nice but the book sucked.

His Christmas Cowgirl. Enjoyed this book. Good Christmas setting , good story line. Some chapters were slow to catch my attention. Nice ending.

An enjoyable read!!. What a wonderful story! I was truly enchanted with this story. Peta is the tough ranch owner who has come back from a month long trip overseas. Garrett is working as a temporary foreman on her ranch as his good friend was injured. There are a couple of misunderstandings in the beginning but are quickly worked out (kudos to the author for not dragging that out). This book is written in a dual POV format. I love that. Being able to see what the character is going through and way really helps me to understand the character better and really enjoy the story so much more. You can feel the sexual tension between these two but without that glimpse into why they weren't acting on it, especially Garrett, it would have been confusing. Garrett has been hurt in the past and is now used to women wanting to be with him for his money so he is wary of getting hurt again. Peta on the other hand is looking for her true love. All of her friends have found it and she has't. No more information, you will have to read the story on your own. You won't regret it. I highly recommend it.

Loved it. Loved this one! Really enjoyed revisiting some of my favorite characters from the previous Wildflower Ranch books. This one can easily be read on it's own though. Peta Dixon has always wanted to run the family ranch. Never a girly girl, she's comfortable with her place in the world. She must admit though, seeing all her siblings finding love and their HEA's has her wanting a love of her own. Ranching doesn't really give many opportunities to meet new people though. Returning from a trip with her sister, she learns quickly she has a new ranch foreman. It appears that due to a bunkhouse flood, the foreman is staying in the main house with her. Will this turn out to be a problem or an opportunity?? She did want to meet new people, right?? A fun read and one I highly recommend.

Strong willed. Peta Dixon returns to Marietta Montana after a month long vacation to find her temporary ranch foreman Garrett Ross. Peta is determined to get him out of her house and then back to where he came from. Garrett thinks Peta is like every other woman he has met and is only worried about her social calendar. It doesn't take long for Garrett to realize he was wrong about her. But can they keep everything businesslike between them or will there hearts get involved. I really liked this story from seeing all the old characters show up to seeing a hardworking cowgirl realize what she wants. Alissa Callen knows how to write an entertaining story for sure.

Sweet Romance. "His Christmas Cowgirl" by Alissa Callen is book number six in the Wildflower Ranch" series. This is Peta Dixon and Garrett Ross' story. Garrett as a favor to Hal has agreed to fill in as foreman on Peta's ranch until Hal recovers from his injury. When Garrett and Peta meet their first impressions are not so good of each other. As they work side by side things begin to change. This is a sweet story but the romance was slow in coming. The first half of the book was pretty slow but the second half was much better. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Christmas Love. I really enjoyed reading His Christmas Cowgirl by Alissa Callen, book six of the Wildflower Ranch series. Peta Dixon returns from her European vacation with her sister Kendall to find Garrett Ross, her temporary ranch foreman, living in her house, overstepping his boundaries. Garrett takes one look at his “boss” and thinks Peta is just like all the other women he has met, only after social status not hard working. It doesn’t take long for these two of them to realize how wrong those impressions are. Peta loves her ranch and it shows in her everyday involvement. Garrett drops everything to help out when the man who’s always been there for him, Hal the Bluebell Falls’ ranch foreman, breaks his hip and needs Garrett’s help. As Garrett and Peta get to know each other more than the ranch is at risk, namely their hearts. This was a sweet, fun and entertaining story with very likeable and authentic characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written with complex characteristics. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. I recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Sweet love story!. Sweet love story that anyone could read. You’ll enjoy the story without worrying about overly sexual language.

Misperceptions quickly righted,. Perceptions are so off sometimes and classic examples are at the beginning of this story.... Peta is returning from a trip to Europe with her sister and has indulged in items she never usually enjoy's, manicures, dress, makeup, etc..... Garrett is a a mega bucks guy hiding out or more realistic filling is as a ranch foreman, but is worth millions as paparazzi like to follow him around.... Both misjudge the other but are quick to correct their perceptions, but take forever to admit their feelings for each other.... a little uncertain about the way the paparazzi are dealt with but really enjoyed this story and how all the other wildflower couples joined in it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
