For young readersThis book seems aimed at kids in their tweens and possibly a little younger. Some YA books are enjoyable for me even as an adult. TerribleI could not wait to get done reading this. I started and hoped that the ending would make it better but I was wrong. It ended on a cliffhanger and then I find that there are 11 more parts! I will not be reading them. The dialogue doesn’t flow like actually speaking does. The thoughts in the character’s minds seem to be word fillers to make the story longer. It’s quite often the same thoughts over and over. This makes me think of something a middle or high school student might write..CstictScore: 1/5

Just what I neededSometimes I’ll fall out of reading and need a certain type of book to pull me back in. This was just right. It was a relatively easy read but kept my attention and had my favorite fantasy element of magic. I enjoyed the characters, story telling, and plot.
