Oh Yeah, love this one!. Excellent read!! Katie is working hard on building her career as an event planner. She's excellent at her job because she puts her heart in it, too bad she can't seem to plan her own wedding. Tanner has become a typical sexy jock and after his divorce decides he wants to be single forever. He has some issues but he loves the NHL and helping less fortunate kids. These ex-high school sweethearts meet up again my mistake and discover that they are still attracted to one another and that the second time around still isn't a smooth ride but it can be worth it. The supporting characters are also great. *This book was received via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

Awesome story. Katelyn is an event planner. She gets hired to plan the wedding of Lovey and Duper. Duper plays hockey for the Aces. She doesn't expect to run into her ex, Tanner. Tanner plays for the Aces and can't believe Katelyn is in the same city. They broke up in college when he was traded and couldn't go with him. They decide to give it another try even though Tanner could be traded at anytime. With her business picking up and the threat of a trade for Tanner, he gets spooked and breaks up with her. But after calming down, Katelyn decides she's not losing him without a fight. Awesome story. Funny and heart wrenching. Very smoking hot sex. Amazing. This series just seems to keep getting better and better. This is a great second chance story as Tanner Bennett is reunited with his first love Katelyn Medford when she turns out to be the new wedding planner for Lovey and Marc DuPuis. With the attraction as strong as ever these two can't help but reconnect. Will this time work or will history repeat itself?? This entire series is enjoyable and one I highly recommend. This book is one of the best!

Aces Hockey!!!. The next installment in the Aces Series by Kelly Jamieson did not disappoint! Katelyn and Tanner had awesome chemistry and I loved their story. Katelyn and Tanner have a history, college sweethearts that haven’t seen each other in the 10 years since their relationship ended, badly. Tanner, a pro hockey player who HATES weddings and Kaitlyn is wedding planner who avoids all things hockey. So of course, Katelyn is planning one of Tanner’s best friend’s wedding. Tanner and Kaitlyn’s chemistry is obvious from the start, they both try so hard not want each other. Wedding festivities force them together and old feelings come to the surface making staying apart even harder. I loved this second chance novel (one of my favorite story lines). The characters were great and appearance from the rest of the team and their partners was awesome. This is a must read in the Aces Series. *I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.

Loved Tanner and Katelyn. This story was a nice second chance at romance. Tanner and Katelyn were together in college. They meet again years later and that spark is still there. This book has everything drama, steaminess, tears, and HEA. This was my first book by Kelly Jamieson and definitely not my last. 😃

Enjoyable second chance at love. This is a fun, hot, second chance at love hockey story. Katelyn and Tanner loved each other in college. A shot at his dream and her duty to family separate these two. Their lives collide once again, and the heat is still there. I enjoyed the banter between Katelyn and Tanner, making me smile. As they stumbled along, I held my breath, hoping they would see what was in front of them. I have come to care for all the men on the Chicago Aces and cannot wait for the next one. I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.

Back to you. This is the 4th book in the Aces Hockey series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. Due to the content, I recommend reading this series in order. Katelyn & Tanner have history. When they meet again at a friends home to plan their wedding, the chemistry ignites. Can they get past what went wrong last time? Tanner knows he does not want the history to repeat with Katelyn. He also knows they cannot ignore the sparks flying between them at every turn. He has to find a solution or the past will become the present. This series is so interesting. The characters are all very strong. This story was a joy to read. So Sexy!. Fantastic! Another great Sport Romance! Can’t seem to get enough of this type of romance lately. This story was filled with heat, humor and emotion and I couldn’t get enough. I truly felt the connection these two shared. I was rooting for them from the first glance when they see each other again after eight long years apart. Kelly Jamieson sure knows how to bring it. Seeing Katelyn again made him remember how he had loved her with his whole heart back in college and then having her decide not to come with him when he was drafted. Tanner had turned into the playboy with the devil may care attitude. He didn’t believe in love anymore, with his first wedding ending in divorce as well as having parents who constantly divorced and every wedding he had been in ending the same way. It was better to leave love in the past. “Life without love is kind of empty?” Katelynn Medford had started her own event planning business a year ago in Chicago. When she had been contacted by her newest client Lovey Armstrong she never expected to see her first love standing in her clients’ living room. But she needed this job. And as they are thrown together again and again will they find love again? I enjoyed Tanner and Katelyn’s growing connection and chemistry. I loved learning their history and watching them come together. But as rumor of a trade surfaces, will he leave her again with nothing but heartache? You will have to read to find out! Another player bites the dust!. I love that I can dive into Kelly Jamieson's sports romance books with confidence. I'm getting my hockey fix without having to deal with puck bunnies. Safe sports romance books are not always easy to find. I like that this author focuses more on the couple than on the fame of the player and she does a great job af creating a group of friends that add to the feeling of the book. This is the fourth in the series and we have all the previous couples back again. Saying that, you could easily read this as a standalone. Tanner and Katelyn dated in College but it ended badly when Tanner got drafted and Katelyn refused to move with him. Personal I thought she was crazy. It was obvious when they met again the chemistry was still there. It took awhile, but we find out there was a big reason she let him go. Both were deeply affected by that break up and you could see it wasn't easy for either of them to risk their hearts again. It was cute to see the committed guys help guide Tanner towards the end. I'd like to think that would actually happen. I'm hoping the next book is about Kirby. He's not well liked and I'd love to see him find someone to soften him. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Great addition to a smart series!. I found Back Check to be the best book so far in this series. I liked Tanner and Katelyn and wanted them to be together; Jamieson did a good job showing the reader what drove the couple apart years ago, and why they would want to try to connect again now. Tanner lacked maturity and emotional depth in the begining but it soon became apparent that he didn't lack the skill to have a mature relationship, he just lacked the desire to allow anyone the power to hurt him again. I liked Katelyn immediately. (Even though I'm seriously tired of books about event planners, not sure why this has become such a hugely popular job in the last few years in HEAs.) Katelyn was independent and confident and quite honestly didn't need Tanner to save her or prop her up in life. She would have been fine without him. However, she never would have had as happy a life as she did with him in her life. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys well written romance. Love this series!. This series by Kelly Jamieson just gets better and better. I love each of these guys and love reading about their falling in love stories. This book is Tanner's story. He is asked to be part of Marc's wedding. He hates weddings, but Marc is his friend. Little does he realize just how much agreeing will change his life. He is shocked when he goes to a meeting that the new wedding planner is having and finds out it is his college girlfriend, Katelyn. Things between them didn't end well. But they are going to be spending time together with this wedding. Is there enough left for a second chance? Can they straighten out what caused them to break up in the first place? I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

My favorite of the series so far!. This was a fun and sexy second chance romance, I loved it! I have enjoyed this series, but this is my favorite so far. The backstory of Tanner and Katelyn is heartbreaking. They were so in love in college, but life brought changes that couldn’t be altered. They both had commitments and there were misunderstandings that led to their heartbreak. Tanner and Katelyn have amazing chemistry and the pace of their love story is believable. There is a lot going on in their lives professionally and personally that is simmering in the background, but their feelings for each other can’t be denied. My heart broke for them when they finally talked about their breakup and the misunderstandings on both sides. I am not going to give any more about the story, as I want you to enjoy this sweet and spicy second chance sports romance.

Sizzling Chemistry. This is the fourth book in the Aces Hockey series and is a second chance at love. I have enjoyed reading all the books in this series and each book is a standalone, although all the characters are interconnected. Katelyn and Tanner dated in college but broke up when Tanner quit college to become a professional hockey player. They meet again, ten years later, when Katelyn takes a job to help Lovey plan her wedding (Mark and Lovey’s story was the first book in this series). Katelyn is an event planner and she is excited to get a high profile job that will open many doors for her, until she discovers she will be spending time with Tanner. There is still a lot of sizzling chemistry flowing between Katelyn and Tanner. Katelyn tries to keep her distance from Tanner because she doesn't want to be hurt again. Tanner comes from a dysfunctional family and isn't sure he believes in love or long lasting relationships, but he can't deny his strong feelings for Katelyn. They always have fun together and are compatible. They have both matured and changed over the years they have been apart. Hopefully, this time they can make things work. I enjoyed all the colorful characters in this book including the players on the Aces team and their wives and girlfriends. They are an entertaining group, they have fun together and add another dimension to the story. It was fun catching up with all the characters from the other books in this series.
