Fresh new shifter story. What a very fresh and new shifter type story. Somewhat chance meeting and the two are instantly attracted. She’s human but keeps hearing a voice in her head saying him. He’s always heard rumors about “The One” but never truly believed until he met her. The author does a great job telling the story in a very poetic way. I love all the twist that happen in getting them together. Well written and very entertaining to read.

Great. I really enjoyed reading this book. It is the first book in a new series by Diana Seere. The writing was really good. And I enjoyed the character development. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I received an ARC copy for an honest review

Needed more. It’s was an ok book. Needed more explanation and had a choppy plot line . I felt like I jumped into the middle of a story. The ending left you with many questions.

I like the shifter universe that Diana Seere has created where there is more magic here than just shifting. Lilah and Gavin are more than fated mates and their attraction is combustible (fans self vigorously) and suspenseful--will she still love him when she knows his secret? I highly anticipate book two--only a few weeks to wait thankfully.

Wolves, and bears, and cougars, oh my.... Wolves, and bears, and cougars, oh my... Turn up the air conditioning 'cause it's hot hot hot in here! This is a fascinating start to a whole new world I badly want to read more about. There's lots of detail to keep you immersed in their world and even the secondary characters have complex personalities. I haven't seen shifters handled in quite this way before and I love it. Ancient legend meets modern science and creates an exotic marriage where anything can happen, even the perfect mating of shifter and human. The chemistry between Lilah and Gavin is explosive, the sparks fly from their very first meeting. I'm hoping this world is the start of a much larger series because I'd love to see full stories for most of the supporting cast as well. (I will eagerly devour every one of them.) I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I could feel the tension in Lilah as the story progressed and the final acceptance of who her mate is.
