Dont buy this. If you must study for an ase do not look into doing it here. Upon reading the first page, it is noticible that an uneducated and unexperience person in automotive wrote this. They are extreamly repetetive through out the first 2 chapters (as far as i could continue reading). They use terms like, "to be more accurate and authenthic" over and over. From the 2 chapters that i read, keep in mind each chapter is a diffrent section, ie ch1. Is a1 engines ch2. Is a2 auto trans and so on, who ever wrote this is mainly explaining the baisic principle of how things work. Never really getting to technical, which is something that is needed for the ase's. Its almost as if he is explaining it to a person who doesnt know anything about vehicles. This is entended for someone who wants to become slightly knowlageble on their vehicle so they dont feel riped off by their mechanic not for someone who is studying for an ase. If i could get my money back for this "book" i would.
