I enjoyed the wit and humor, but. The story seem to drag a bit, and I lost interest a little bit parts of it. Too long need to be shorter.

The Tenacious Miss Tamerlane.. Loved it.I like how the author is very articulate with her use of words. Such a refreshing breathe of air with the absence of filthy language that I do not find inspiring or necessary to tell a good story. I will be looking forward to ready more books by this author.

Too funny. I laughed so much at this wonderful set of characters. At first I was unsure if I would like the story and the writing style was different. I’m so very glad that I kept reading. Written in a perfect style for both time and characters. Well done!

Of all the whimsical. All I can say is Ashley the curmudgeon and Tansy the women that had trouble keeping her thoughts to herself. I laughed at all of the absurdities’ of hers and Ashley’s mouths. that came out. Im not sure if women back then were quit that outspoken but they should have been. Maybe females had a more subtle way of controlling their spouses. Sometimes a famine wile is worth more in the long run than a males brute strength. Thank you Ms. Micheals for an utterly delightful read.

Great story. Sometimes I had a hard time with what was said but I really loved it. It was delightful.

Absolutely delightful!. The characters are brought vividly to life especially the heroine Tandy. A regency Romantic Comedy well worth the reading.

Very entertaining. Romance, humor stitched together by intermittent pearls of wisdom. I found me self looking forward to each "pearl" spouted by Aunt Lucinda. An all around good read.

Review. I couldn’t even finish this book it was so bad. After five chapters, the only thing that happened was that Tansy met Lady Emily on the side of the road and her brother brought them home. It seems the characters do nothing but rant and spout quotes. Don’t waste your time.

A wonderful read. I don't normally take the time to post reviews, but I have to say that I really enjoyed this author's writing style - very descriptive, tongue in cheek, great character development, and wonderful story telling.

Forgot how much fun this is. I read my paper copy, purchased upon publication, too long ago. My books are all packed up from the last move, as it is cramped. Thus, ebooks of old favorites. Ms. Michaels was an auto-buy for me after I read the first one. Its allure has not paled. Now to get the omnibus of the Alphabet series!

The Tenacious Miss Tamerlane. Really enjoyed this book - so glad I went with the majority of reviews and ignored the grammar police review! There aren’t structural or typo issues but the authors unusual voice/writing style. Hilarious & well written! And best of all it was free!

A regency romp. I have read a few Kasey Michaels books and loved them. This one was has many comic moments - a regency romp.

Refreshingly hilarious. Most historical romances have language which can be a little dry. This book is not like most historical romances. The wit constructed for the characters makes the book!

Kasey’s wit and knowledge of obscure descriptive nouns had me laughing throughout- particularly the description of Lady Emily after her rescue from her second ill-fated attempt at an elopement. I recommend this as a great read for any lover of Regency romances John the Planner

Endless quotes. An enjoyable tale made rather tedious by one characters penchant for quotes, which rather got on my nerves after a couple of chapters, like a good steak cooked past its level of perfection, ending up overdone. Less is more......
