Amazing. This book was one of my many favorite books of all time. I love how Rick Riordan writes, his imagination is like one of a child’s with all sorts of awesome endings and cliff-hangers that keep you on the edge of your seat. Amazing would highly recommend. If you are fan of a modern spin on mythology and the Percy Jackson saga you will love this book and if you have Ben following the story of magnus chase this is a fitting end to the tale.

Great but ending was blank. This story was so great, so great I tried to download a book 4... Soon discovered there wasn’t one and realized how the ending was pretty blank. Didn’t even show the fight of ragnarok!

Yes!. Amazing novel loved it especially the ending. I don’t know why but Riordan’s books always give me a feeling of nostalgia. I would definitely recommend!

Entertaining. A good book full of what readers love most.

Awesome closing of the trilogy. This was a great end to the Magnus Chase series, hopefully Rick decides to go ahead and make it a 5 book series instead of just 3!

Perfect. This is definitely my most favorite book series of all time. All the characters are all very interesting and unique and the diversity is mind-blowing! There are all sorts of different races, religions, orientations, and abilities and all of them are done so respectfully without the use of stereotypes or assumptions. Poorly known identities are politely explained by the characters themselves, ensuring no stereotypes persist. It’s amazing and I’ve never seen anything like it!

Percy will come. The title: SHIP OF THE FREAKING DEAD. THE SHIP!!!! If that's not good enough that they're going to old Scandinavia just as Carter and Sadie did to Egypt in The Serpents Shadow, or when the seven half bloods went to Greece, Magnus Chase will meet Percy Jackson (or at least that's what we hope!!)!!! Although, I'm wondering how Percy will react. It will either be a roast fest in the beginning of yo Mama jokes, or Percy will have his head spinning from all the lines of deities. Since Magnus obviously can't sail, we now know who will be a big part of the 3rd book. Also, when will the Kanes come back?? I miss Carter and Sadie, and I read the crossovers.

This book. This was a great book!!! Like really good.

The best!. I really love this series and I have this book on my bookshelf at home. I really like the characters and I think this book is really good at breaking off from the normal teen adventure and romance stereotypes to create a wonderful story. My favorite character is Alex and I think that she/he add a lot to the story. (Sorry if I phrased the pronouns wrong). I also love the fact that Sam is a strong independent Muslim girl and I hope that people won’t stereotype others just because of what the media says about those who are part of the Muslim culture and religion. For those of you who have said so on some other reviews, why would you say praising Allah is wrong? It’s part of her religion and is something she believes in. I may not be Muslim myself but don’t say someone practicing their religion is wrong. Another great thing about this book is that the narrator (Magnus) does not do everything on his own and is not the only one taking credit for the achievements in the book. This book is amazing and if you haven’t read the first two, you definitely should! I don’t think this book is political as someone’s religion or sexuality is not part of politics, but part of their own identity. Also, you should really check out Rick Riorden’s other book series like Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, or even Trials of Apollo if you have not already. I’m in high school and I still consider them to be my favorite books. Thanks for reading my review! I really hope you read this book, it will open you up to a whole new world! I really wish he’d make another one.

One of my favorite series!. I'm ten years old and I love all the Magnus Chase books! They have adventures, saving the world, traveling, mythology, and more! I would give all the books by Rick Riordan 100 stars if I could!

This book was really good. This book is good and at the ending it tells a sneak peek at trials of Apollo 3

So slow. This book was a major snooze fest and very repetitive. It’s like he’s not even trying to tell a story, just recap the previous book and rip themes from the Percy Jackson series.

Can confirm is pc indoctrination. I used to love his books until his last one, which I got the hint of some politics into places where it shouldn't be. Like muslim protagonist praising allah and a gender fluid it of Loki. The gender fluid is said of to tease Magnus for pronouns and identifying as a different gender. Such stupidly. Such waste of a valuable author. Such waste of my money.

My gods!. This is amazing. I’m 13 year old bi-gender person and these books made me feel like I belong somewhere. I don’t believe all of the bad reviews. Like what’s political about different cultures mixed into one? Or having a bi-gender person (like Alex) be in a book?

5 months.... Is this seriously the last book?! Also ricks not putting in political stuff. Characters like Alex and nico are normal people trying to live their lives even if you don't see people like them every day.

Wow. This was a suspense creating masterpiece that properly ended the series. One of the best books I’ve ever read. In this story Magnus has to get Kvasirs mead, beat Loki I’m a fluting, and delay Ragnarok even longer. You should definitely read this book and recommend it too friends. Rick Riordan writes really good books, making himself worthy of the title “The storyteller of the Gods.”

Political. I found this book to be extremely political. Extreme leftist politically correct ideology with a Norse mythology based story mixed in for spice. Fundamentally this is fine, but I hate stories that force feed some ideology instead of just unraveling naturally. Rick Riordan (sadly) has run out of things to say, and is now relying on a political ideology for people to like his books. Between the gender fluid character to the random homosexual references, to the extremely weak male protagonist that doesn’t really do anything; all of this together comes together for a story that has no substance and no moral virtue. In trying to garner and bestow values, Riordan has forsaken what made his stories good in the first place: heart.

More!. Please. I know you probably don’t ever read your iTunes reviews, but these are by far my favorite books by you. They are absolutely hilarious and I laugh more than once every chapter. You totally should make 5

WOW. I love all of the Rick Riordan books, but this one takes the cake for sure. All of the characters are witty, and the plot line is excellent. The characters are lovable and quirky, which gives this book an terrific Vibe. Overall, one of the best books I have ever read.

Can we take a moment please. Okay, I love this book, yadda yadda yadda. It’s amazing and I totally recommend it!!! BUT. Can we take a moment and realize the extreme stupidity of the person who said “ didn’t even show the fight of ragnarok”?? Because to have shown that, the “mortals”, aka us, the readers would have to have know what the world was pretty much ending, and so obviously he couldn’t writethat in. I’m really not trying to be mean here, just pointing stuff out!

*fangirling*. OMIGAWD! I finally got the courage to read the first three chapters and they are AWESOWE! I'm happy to see that Magnus and Alex are taking about something other than Alex's gender. I feel like nearly every time Alex and Magnus spoke to each other in the second book, it was about if alex was a boy of girl. It was amazing to see Percy and Magnus in the same book! I simply CANNOT wait to read the rest!!

Great, but wasn’t big enough.. It was a really great book, and I love every minute of it. My only complaint is it took so long and took me a couple hours to read.

Nice conclusion to the series. 4. It did an excellent job wrapping up character arcs and fleshing out relationships between the whole crew. In particular the characters Hearthstone and Mallory respectively really shined here.

This book is awesome!!!!!. Rick really doesn’t disappoint in this book with action packed challenges.

Magnus Chase is getting better at saving the World!. Okay, this wasn’t as challenging as I feared. It was pretty good even! Before I continue, I must confess that (as my teenaged daughter has correctly pointed out) I am not a member of Rick Riordan’s target audience. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed many of his previous offerings in Greek and Roman mythology, even fancying myself swooning over Percy Jackson! My difficulties with the Gods of Asgard series has much to do with the convoluted and complex Norse god genealogy, their hard to pronounce names, and their numerous and confusing worlds. But with my persistent offspring’s nagging and encouragement, I finally made it through the entire story and found that I liked it for the following reasons: 1). I found Magnus Chase’s quest to intercept the Ship of the Dead, defeat Loki, and prevent Ragnarok was easier to follow than the previous quest. 2). Magnus’ fellow Floor Nineteen Valhalla comrades accompany him faithfully on his quest and, in so doing, Magnus and the readers learn a lot more about their lineages and personal histories, making for some pretty awesome character development and emotional bonding. 3). Rick Riordan’s signature tongue-in-cheek, irreverent humour made me laugh out loud. 4). I’m beginning to appreciate and admire Riordan’s transparent efforts at inclusivity, as he successfully breaks down my conservative barriers and makes me love his motley crew of marginalized characters from different religions, backgrounds, and non-binary genders. 5). I learned so much about Norse mythology from reading this series, that I actually know more about the soon-to-be-released movie, Thor: Ragnarok, than my husband, who just asked me “What is Ragnarok?” 6). Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase make a cameo appearance. I just love it when they do that. 7). Finally, the most important reason is that, after she read it three times over, my child insisted that I complete this reading assignment so that “we can discuss all these issues” brought up in the book. And she doesn’t just mean the myths. Kudos to Rick Riordan for continuing to write books that expose narrow-minded misconceptions and allow our CHILDREN to preach to their PARENTS about tolerance and understanding.

SO DAM AWESOME!!!. I loved this book. I’ve read every single one of Rick’s books and I am still amazed by what an amazing read they are. The writing is skillful and, as always, hilarious. Also, I’m just so dam happy to get some Fierrochase!
