😍😍. I loved this book like it better then Original Twilight. Also Edythe is Superior to Edward.

Stunning and spectacular. I loved the original Cullen’s, so reading this gender swap on the Cullens was the most difficult part to me about this book. That VERY small detail aside, Edythe and Beau are an amazing set of characters with a dynamic relationship that I found much more speaking than Edward and Bella’s. The way this one was written created more tension and suspense, I think, which ultimately cultivated in a more pleasing and wanting relationship between the two main characters. Archie (Alice) was also such a fluid transition on the gender swap roles and I immediately took a liking to the character. All in all, some aspects felt like a re read and a little bleh, but only because I’ve read the original multiple times. Overall the book felt like a new novel and even just the change of descriptions and word swaps made a huge difference to the tone and imagery of the book. Oh, and I loved, loved, loved Edythe!!!

Mike Smith. Thoroughly enjoyed the book wish she would have written a sequel!!

Waste of time and money. I wish I would have taken to heart about what people said this book is, that it is a money grab. She couldn’t even take the time to come up with new phrasing, just cut and paste new names and subbing out he/she/he again and again. Such a disappointment. Such a waste of time. Such a waste of money.

Entertaining. The gender swapped story is a real treat as it gives insight into the minds of both of the original characters and answers the question “how could twilight have ended differently?”. Very fun read.

Better than Twilight. The story of Beau & Edythe, in my opinion, is better than the original. The author said this isn’t really a new story, & plot wise, it isn’t. But Beau’s character is so different from Bella (more expressive & openly loving) that it quite changes the way the story reads. I really wish the entire saga was about Edythe & Beau.

Enthralling Romance Story. If you are a person who fantasizes about meeting a dark, beautiful, mysterious, funny, confident, and dangerously powerful woman who is obsessed with you, like I often do, then this book will be right up your alley. I hadn’t read the original twilight, and hadn’t really seen the appeal of it, that is, until I heard the premise of this book. This story indulged just about every romantic fantasy I could dream of, and the dramatic shifts left me with a deep longing in my soul that I’m not sure any story will be able to fill again in quite the same way. Stephenie Meyer has done a great service to the world in writing this version of the story, and while I would love more than anything to be able to read continuations of this story, this was satisfying in its own way.

Life and Death: Twilight. I loved the twist on switching genders- although probably unpopular, I would love to see this love story on film as well. Edythe and Beau are so very different and to see the characters come to life would be magical. Good read!

Not as good as I expected. The beginning of the book is the same as the first twilight book, as expected, it kind of shows the alternative ending for the saga. Although, the story leaves the image of unfinished, something that was not enough. We don’t really get to see lots of relationships throughout the book. I think it needed a lot of additions, explaining at the end. I lacked the relationship between the main characters, their love seemed questionable, but I didn’t have doubts with the original. We didn’t get to see Jules, or her struggles, or attraction to Beau. We didn’t get to see how the male version of Bella handled transformation or exploring his new powers. The ending seemed rushed for me. For one time read this book is fine, but not for the description of infinite love.

MUST READ. Honestly wasn’t sure how I’d like the gender roles swapped BUT this was absolutely brilliant and amazing. I might even say I prefer this to the original! So so good!

👍🏽. It was good, I liked it. I finished reading it in a whole week.

Loooooong Sigh. After having read Midnight Sun a few times I was expecting Meyer to thrill us with this reimagining of Bella and Edwards Story but ugh it was just a retelling. I literally pictured her going into her laptop and just changing names and pronouns while also getting rid of all traces of chagrin and replacing them with stupidity or idiocy. I was excited to read this and wish I had bought it at Barnes and Nobles so I could enthusiastically return it. The essential issue with the novel is that neither Beau nor Edythe have any soul to their characters. Beau is terrible at describing Edythe beyond that she is thin and pretty. Edythe doesn't seem as smitten with Beau as we as the readers expect. The vampire sex 101 conversation made me cringe. Overall if you are a fan of the series, borrow this book from the library just to say you've red it.

An interesting End. The story while being basically a gender swap, still showed its originality. A fitting end to the story.

Uh. Disappointing and awkward.. I love twilight but this book is so awkward. I’m mean it literally was twilight word for word but changed the names and the characters. Worst part was you can not compare. I mean the cringe moment when he literally climbs on her back describing how he is so tall and she’s small… lol the logistics of that is so awkward to read through. Please save you money I wish I would have listen to the other reviews.

v interesting. Okay SO I’ll try to make this short. I’m a huge, huge fan of the books, movies, soundtracks, etc. so, obviously, I had to read this one as well. Not gonna lie, wish Stephenie would have published “Midnight Sun” for the 10 year anniversary but I know that’s a dead end. Without spoiling anything, there is somewhat of a plotwist that I didn’t see coming haha but book is pretty much like “Twilight” with some few exceptions (diff. gender roles being a big one.) Overall, reason for not giving this book 5 stars is only because I hold Edward and Bella dear to my heart, so reading the same story with different characters is like watching a spinoff of the movies- great, but not the same- never good enough.

Amazing. I like it better then the original twilight

Worst. I LOVE the Twilight books AND movies and Stephanie Meyer but I HATE this book. 1. It’s confusing 2. It’s literally the SAME as Twilight 3. It’s UPSETTING “SHE sauntered forward to kill me.” The SAME!!!!!

No. I hate you

Great read. Some of the smaller parts were name changes but what mattered was rewritten. Very good job. I only wish it would have continued through the rest of the saga.

Stephanie is so creative!. I appreciate how Stephanie has taken the time to publish three versions of twilight. It is so interesting to see the story from different angles and even see it play out in a different way. I absolutely love what she did with this book. It is not the exact same story and I love it!

Good twist.. I liked it a lot!

Love it. I hope we look to see more books like this one in the near future keep writing

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Don’t waste your money. I should have listened to the bad reviews. This is exactly the same as the original Twilight (except for the very end). All of the events and dialogue are the same. It’s exactly the same. The good reviews made it sound like it is it’s own story just with the same premise. Nope. Exactly the same.

Refreshing. Bella is one of the most relatable characters of any story I’ve read. However, as a guy, I could not truly appreciate all of her experiences and fantasies. This gender reversed reimagining made for the most enjoyable and submersive read for me. I could truly put myself in Beau’s shoes and feel his desire and connection with Edythe. The ending was also a welcome change. It leaves the reader speculating on how the love triangle with Jules and certain key events from the original saga could alternatively play out. The anticipation for more will lure you in like a vampire’s scent. I look forward to reading more.

Omgggggg. I am like the biggest twilight fan evah so duh I’m gonna read this one. It was really cool and super interesting to see how the story could of been. The ending was so good, really shocking. I love Edythe!

Vision. Stephanie Meyer’s is a visionary!!!!!!!!

Loved it. What more can I say than that. The ending was amazing. Well done Stephenie Meyer

Readers, I give this 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I liked this version, however I found myself trying to match these characters to those in the original version. The ending was a surprise and I wish we could have more of the follow-up story. Enjoy the flipped version and let your imagination soar!
