Psychological Horror with an Amazing Plot. Tomie is a manga that genuinely made me feel uncomfortable at times. Junji Ito is amazing and creating imagery that is genuinely scary, yet he never compromises the plot. With Tomie, I got the scary factor, but overall, to its core, Tomie is a masterpiece of a story. The idea of a femme-fatale who lives to drive men mad with her death is not only original, it’s horrifying. A definite must buy!

Flawless & a wild ride. Everything from the artwork to the plot is amazing. Tomie is the best evil, gorgeous woman you’ll probably ever read/have seen in media. Not scary, but dark. A lot of dark humor from Tomie. You can’t help, but hope bad things happen to her. Junji Ito does great with the many short stories about Tomie. They don’t feel repetitive as long as you’re not trying to read the near 800 page book in a day. Each and every one of the stories are unique and captivating. It’s worth the buy just for the amazing artwork from Ito. The plot from each stories are a bonus.
