Torment me anytime!!!. Tormentor Mine is the first book in a three book series. Peter and Sarah’s journey starts off rocky since he sent to assassinate her husband but it’s full of delicious turns into twist that make you fall in love with Peter. He’s tortured, conflicted brilliant but sexy…all at once. Sara is a doctor and conflicted by her feeling towards Peter.... it’s a perfect start to a three book arch and I cannot wait to see where their journey takes them. Can't put the book down. I have read a few books now and every time I can't put the book down. I love the way you write and how you describe the details of the characters feelings and everything else. I am able to picture what I am reading. Just absolutely love all your books I read so far. Can't wait for the second book to come out.

Forever Mines. I was quite disappointed in the ending. It’s a cliffhanger what happens to Julian Esguerra and Nora as well as Lucus

I loved this!!. This book was amazing!! To me, it is second only to her amazing Twist Me series, and I’m sure it’ll get even better! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Capture Me spinoff with Lucas and Yulia, but I like this a lot more. Peter and Sara are really complex, likeable characters and the plot is thrilling and intense. I can’t wait for the next one to come out!!!

Book 1 Peter and Sara. Very intense in the beginning, I feel victimized

Couldn’t put it down. The perfect mix of steamy (okay, maybe HOT is more appropriate) with an engaging plot and characters that have depth and make you feel something. Loved it. Read it all in one sitting.

Perfection. The book is a breathtaking mixture of romance and revenge. Each of the characters were uniquely described by the author.

Best Series Yet!. Peter is just as dark and mysterious as we suspected! A sexy alpha male who goes after and fights for those he loves. Our heroine Sara is complex and torn between her need to escape her lonely, guilt ridden existence and her ideas of right and wrong. This offering is even better than her Twist Me series. A must read for any dark romance fan.

So good!!. This is my first time reading a book by Anna Zaires, and I’m in love! When I first started reading the book I was curious how Peter and Sara could possibly end up together. He’s definitely obsessed with her, and in the real world it would be terrifying. But, some how in this book it’s okay and you absolutely fall in love with Peter. You start rooting for them to fall in love. lol Great book…I’m a fan! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Worth it. 10/10 would recommend... really good read and can’t wait to keep reading the rest of the series

Can't wait for the next book!. So far this is so much better than Capture Me series! The reader definitely connects with Peter and his traumatic past. Peter is a dark tortured soul and his relationship with Sara is very complicated. She is both attracted and repulsed by him and his actions toward her. Yet the scenes involving the both of them are off the charts hot! I love that he and his group are always one step ahead of everyone. Sara comes off as very likable......not weak nor annoying. She is in a very hard place......she starts to care for him and understand somewhat his actions yet cannot coincide her feeling reg her husband abd his death. I can't wait for the next book Obsession Mine....I hope this is the conclusion because I don't think I can wait for a 3rd book!

Stockholm Romance. TORMENTOR MINE is another Anna Zaires Stockholm Syndrome brainchild that’s good story telling. An international spy, Peter Sokolov, who was introduced in the Twisted series, is hell bent on getting revenge for the deaths of his wife and son runs across an Sarah, an innocent, whose name happens to be on a list of people responsible for the death of his family. But she parked some feeling in him other than anger and revenge. Somehow his twisted infatuation with her is screwing with his mind. Redemption/remorse? Sara seems to sense when he’s near her on a cellular level. He knows this and decides he wants to connect with her in a normal way rather than assaulting her again. However he does install surveillance cams in her home violating her privacy. As she tries to move past the trauma of being attacked, she begins to dream of him as one would for a lover, with longing and orgasmic dreams. Anna has written Peter as a quietly sexy, strong alpha male, one who is hard to shake off as a Stockholm Tormentor Mine is a dark story but not as dark as the Twisted Series. It is sexier, hotter, and the growing affection between the tormentor, Peter, and the tormented Sara, is touching and very romantic. Considering their initial contact was Peter waterboarding her then sticking a needle in her throat with truth serum. The journey for Peter was one of desire to punish Sara for her husband’s part in the deaths of his family, tore self loathing, then love and redemption for what Peter did to Sara. I enjoyed the great lines, Sara’s inner thoughts at the dichotomy of their relationship. That she’s happier and more fulfilled with her husband’s killer than she was with her husband.`

Why?. Uh...why are the books in this series being released a year apart. This is ridiculous. So, we get to the best part of the story and have to wait a year. What kind of mess is this.

Finally I have Peter!. I first caught sight of Peter in the ‘Twist Me’ trilogy and was instantly enamored by this man! Let’s just face the facts...Anna will bewitch you with her overblown alphas. Peter is a grudge-bearing widower on the hunt for the men responsible for the death of his wife and son. With the help of Nora Esguerra, he has retrieved a list of names that will send him on a vengeful and murderous journey. Kidnapping the wife of his enemy leads Peter and his team into mishap and complete pandemonium. Survival and vengeance are key elements in this plot of releasing Peter from his absolution. Sarah is an unexpected gem bringing Peter to a fault in his plan, all the while delving into a steamy case of Stockholm Syndrome!

Tormentor Mine. I have read all of Ann Zaries books and absolutely love them all. Just when I think how can this book be any better than the last series, I am quickly reminded how she is able to hook you from page one. This book does not disappoint. Can't wait for the next one. Favorite author! ❤️

Absurd. I couldn’t stand reading this garbage. No women should ever ever have to deal with a man like him!! They have a Stockholm syndrome relationship! Literally peter claims he doesn’t want to hurt her, yet threatens the people around her a collateral damage! Peter is the one who is causing sara to go to therapy, experience ptsd, experience paranoia, etc. Peter is just a bipolar killer.

Um?. What the heck did I just read? Dude is certifiably crazy and so is Sara for not running the complete other way! But i love them both.

Tormentor Mine Tormentor Mine is the first book in what promises to be a phenomenal spin off series after the Twist Me and Capture Me series. It is from the start addicting and mesmerizing, impossible to put down and will torch all your emotions. We are drawn in by the first heartbreaking chapter which further elaborates on the nightmare horror Peter Sokolov has lived thru ( we got some of this story in the previous series) and his driving need for revenge. As emotionally draining as it was to get thru this chapter it is important to see a different side of Peter and the background that sets everything in motion. By the next chapter I am unable to put then book down. Peter is determined to hunt down all those responsible for the tragedy that happened to his family. This leads him to Dr. Sara Cobakis who's husband was one of those on his list. Sara has just started to get her life back together after she and her husband drifted apart followed by him becoming a "vegetable" hidden in a hospital after a car accident. It's been awhile now and Sara only knows her husband was an international reporter she was clueless that he was secretly working for the US government. Peter must get to Sara in order for him to find her husband who is one of the top names on his list. This story is just too good to give out any spoilers and so many of the reviews have already recapped a lot of the plot, just be prepared for an intense exciting suspenseful seductive surprising thrill ride. I loved the way the intensive hypnotic relationship between Peter and Sara evolves and changes several times in the course of the book both psychologically and physically. This is a dark romance but there is also a lot of light that comes thru as well as redemption, respect, soul searching and a very passionate deep soul connection that grows between the two. We are also treated to some humor and feel good moments woven into the book. The characters are further flushed out and become more personal to the reader by the back and forth narration so you hear the story, feeling and reactions from both sides. The ending promises more awesomeness to come in the next book which can't come soon enough. One of my favorite books of the three series and definitely my favorite couple. This book is one of the Anna Zaires finest works and can definitely be read as a stand alone but you're a reader of dark romances don't miss the other two series.

Could not put it down!!. ***arc provided free for an honest review *** I am a huuuge fan of Anna Zaires works, but the capture me series is a big favorite for me. Everytime I think she can possibly have another spin off, BAM! And I'm never disappointed. I loved the development of Peter. I think that developing his character first helped me understand his actions, but then I also felt so much like Sara, where I wanted to hate him, yet understood him and was soooo attracted to him. I hope this wasn't a stand alone as it's rumored because that was such a big cliff hanger I need to know what is next! I finished this in a few hrs because I couldn't put it down! The only thing that left me from giving this a 5 star review was that I felt things moved to fast, and I would have loved to have their relationship developing show more details, by with the length of the book already I understand. If you're a fan of the capture me series and spin offs, you won't regret reading this one!

Yes! A million times yes!. Peter's story!! He's been in intriguing presence in both the Twist Me and Capture Me series and now he has his very own...and dare I say- I may love it just as much as Twist Me? I know it's hard to believe but it's true. Peter is a very different sort of man than Julian, but when it comes to getting what he wants he has the same determination. Immoral? Probably. Questionable motives? Maybe. Sexy as hell? Most definitely. Peter wants Sara for several different and even opposing reasons, and he won't let anything as trivial as right or wrong, the law, or a possible lack of consent on her part stop him. Their story is complicated and then this book ends with it about to become even more complicated. It's a hell of a cliffhanger and will leave you begging for more!! I am very excited to see where this goes. Thank you Anna Zaires for another killer series that's sure to be in my top favorites!

Not a bad free book but.... I read the first & it was really pushing it for being long & drawn out & it ended in a cliffhanger. I NEVER download books with cliffhangers. I bought the 2nd one & hate I spent $6 just for nothing new to really happen & end in another cliffhanger & the next book it $6. I will not buy the next book. This could be a great story but definitely not worthy of the $. It’s drawn out into many books when Really it should be 1. I’m disappointed in it & myself for the purchase.

A SEXY FANTASTIC READ!!!. I received the book only yesterday afternoon and stayed up most of the night trying to finish it. I was sad when I did. I wanted more. I needed more Peter and Sara. Ahh!! Never stop writing Anna!!. I just cannot get enough of these strong and magnificent characters. The Twist Me series was my first to read by Anna Zaires and after that, there was no going back! When I found out there were more books that tied Julian and Nora, Peter and Sara, Yulia and Lucas, I couldn’t be any happier. The Tormentor Series and Twist Me series will alway hold a special place in my heart! ❤️

Loved it. I loved this book couldn't put it down. When Sara gets home after work someone is waiting for her in the dark. When the FBI tell her that her husband is dead she feels guilty and resposible for his death. After she is trying to move on with her life the person from her nightmares comes back, but this time he wants her. Peter can't seem to stay away from Sara, but when she tries to hurt him he gives her an ultimatum either be good or he'll take her far away from everyone she knows including her parents. When the FBI tell her that they spotted him near the hospital she fights with herself if she should warn Peter or not.

Loved!!. I was hooked once I started reading, I could not put this book down!! Anna did it again!! She managed to make me fall in love with these characters each one in their own way were amazing. I can't wait for the next book!

Tormentor mine. Wow so not expected this twisted dark romance to be so addictive! I could not put the book down. Characters you can’t help but love and want to know more about their roller coaster of emotions throughout their lives. Looking forward to the next book.

Superb.... Now my only problem is waiting for the second book. Having read Julian & Nora's storyline, I knew I was in for a roller coaster but I didn't expect to love Peter's story so much.. This book grabs you from the very beginning and your only choice is to ignore the world around you and keep reading.. Thank you Anna Zaires and please ignore the world around you so you can bring us book 2 sooner rather than later..

Way to go Anna❤️👍!!!. What can I say...another big hit Ms. Anna. I will not spoil the book, but I will say that the only thing you will be disappointed in, is that there is a cliffhanger at the end of it. However, Anna does it again with the sex, mystery, intrigue and the heavy manipulation mind games that are played, while the two main characters try to figure out their feelings. For some reason I feel like The sex scenes that were portrayed in this book were just a teaser to what's to come in the next installment. So basically Peter was just wetting his appetite and hopefully we see so much more passionate sexscapades next time...let me just say that if I didn't receive an ARC copy of this book, I would have gladly paid full price for it...can't wait for the next installment.

My brain is happy!. Tormentor mine. By Anna Zaires Arc review I was given this advanced copy of Tormentor Mine, in exchange for my honest opinion in form as a review. My mind is doing its little happy dance right now! I hoped and wished and begged and waited for this story. I had high expectations when I started this story, as the authors other 'dark romances' have been wonderful; I was justified in having these expectations as the story blew my mind. It was phenomenally written and well executed, playing like a movie in my mind. A movie with such vivid detail, at times I felt I was being pampered by my handsome and charismatic stalker/lover. This is the story about Peter Sokolov, a Russian former special forces soldier turned rogue assassin and Sara Cobakis, an American OB-Gyn work-a-holic, who's married to George, a man on Peters 'list'. Peter's character is very intense and intimidating, once he has his sights set, there is no changing his mind. That focus also means he is loyal and thorough in all things, which is a quality Sara loves though she doesn't realize it. Sara's personality is so happy and helpful and kind, which really strikes the contrast between doctor and killer. Although Sara seems to live the ideal life, she truly is very empty, which leads Peter to fillI the void. In the real world this type of relationship wouldn't work and would be horrid. In the book world, Peters love and obsession is sweet and he's loving and seems even good for Sara. She wants and deserves passion and love and Peter seems perfect to give it to her. He appreciates her mind, job and the relationship she has with her parents and seems to be a great life partner. I was skeptical Peter would be able to get Sara to see him as a man to love, I originally couldn't imagine how she'd see him as anything except her husbands killer and the man who tortured and drugged her. The true motivations behind Peter's list was tragic. I learned his family had been murdered, in a part book where Pete was a supporting character. Having the whole story and true motivations helps to make you feel like an ally of Peters. Once I learned of his tragic past, I was willing to fight for happiness with him, knowing it would be an up hill battle. Peter is not your average man, he's dark, cruel and truly twisted, but he's also handsome and kind, loyal and can cook! I'm always amazed at how quickly I fall in love with these women stealing psycho's but he's really just misunderstood and complicated (yes I'm justifying). The author did a wonderful job at making all the characters well rounded with tons of depth, even the side characters jump to life within the story. If your a fan of dark love, passionate intimacy with no rules, this is your book! Anna Zaires is killing the dark storylines y'all, killing them!! I can't wait for book 2, and in the meantime I'll be rereading this gem a couple more time. Happy reading!

Fates Intertwined. What a mind blowing dark romantic thriller in my first read of this inimitable author, that I will be following and reading many more of her books in the future. Tormentor Mine the first book in the series has everything I love about a dark romance, major, fast paced suspense that has you on the edge of your seat, secrets, lies and betrayal to the max. I was so gripped by this amazing page turner, I had to finish it in one sitting and am so looking forward to reading Obsession Mine the next in the series. Ms Zaire’s certainly knows how to write a dark romance with all the elements it needed, the storyline was amazing with beautifully written prose that had me sobbing with the joy of her written word! The character of Peter Sokolov was so dark and powerful in his five and a half years vengeance for the massacre of his family which has now become his life, but still the predator lies within him! Sara Cobakis is trapped in her tormentors lair, with their connection of loss, pain and torture! Will Peter’s lethal dark power free Sara or is it heaven and hell for her? A dark and twisted tale of the Widow and her paranoia and her perverted dreams! A highly recommended well deserved 5 star read.

Loved every dark minute. Wow Anna has done it again another Amazing read!!! This is Sara and Peters story and boy does it pack a punch!!!! We have had glimpses of Peter throughout the twist me trilogy and it's fantastic to learn about his past and future. I thought that Julian and Lucas were bad boys but they have nothing on Peter he is ruthless and even more psychotic than both go them put together in my opinion!!! Throughout the book I really wanted to hate him but as with all of the other villains he has a softer gentler side that draws you in from the start. Sara is a OB GYN that works long long hours between the hospital and health centre so has no time for the life she wasn't deep down but details of her past emerge that make you realise why this actually is. Peter barges his way into her life and from then on it will never be the same again...... Will it be for the better, or for the worse???? So so can't wait for the next instalment of their "adventure" please let this be very very soon!!!! This can be read as a standalone but I would definitely recommend reading the twist me trilogy before reading this book just to get the fuller picture. Amazing read!!!! Thanks Anna xxxxxxx

“Tormentor mine” by Anna Zaires. It’s absolutely heartbreaking what happened to Peter’s village and one can understand his need for vengeance but it will only generate other acts of vengeance. Poor Sara is in a very difficult position. I wish SARA had been a stronger character. It’s an edge of your seats, nail-biting, exciting story!

Perfectly "captivating" - 5 ultra hot stars!. There are only three things you need to know about this book: it has the essence of CAPTIVE romance at its best, it takes place in the TWIST ME world, and it is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Dr. Sara Cobakis is a beautiful and earnest young ObGyn, working and volunteering long hours to assuage her regrets over the failure of her marriage and her husband's subsequent death. She knows she is being stalked by her husband's killer. She knows her attraction to said killer is pathological. She also knows there is no way to escape him. Her "monster" is Peter Sokolov, former Russian Special Forces operative turned fugitive assassin. He is a gorgeous killer with eyes of metallic ice. He had a score to settle with George Cobakis, holding him culpable for the death of Peter's family. But in the course of seeking vengeance Peter is shocked by his own physical and emotional reaction to Sara. Perhaps Sara fills a void left by his murdered family? You don't have to read the preceding books in Anna Zaires' Twist Me series in order to enjoy Tormentor Mine. I strongly suggest reading them, either before or after, to better understand Peter's story and also because Anna's masterful writing is brilliantly showcased in this entire body of work. Anna Zaires is a genius. As an established fan, I was nervous that she wouldn't be able to replicate her previous successes, but after reading Tormentor Mine I was blown away! I will NEVER doubt her again. Anna's strong credible heroines unwittingly attract the obsession of violent apex predators. Their romance should defy belief. Instead she methodically documents the meeting of two polar minds: with realism, with empathy, and without wasting words. The result is a more intense romantic experience. Tormentor Mine is so good I had to read it again. RIGHT AWAY! That's how much I didn't want to put this down! Looking forward to Part 2, Obsession Mine. Don't miss this!
