A Thief in Time. Time travel is a bit of a stretch for me. That being said, I couldn’t put the book down until I knew the end of this love-across-time.

A Thief in Time. I very much enjoyed this page turner! It was an exciting story with enticing glimpses into 16th century life and language. I found the characters compelling despite not being of an age with them.

Interesting Read. I thought the book was interesting, and provided enough to show character development within the small circle that was Montecito. The novel however felt a bit predictable to an extent, and though I read despite feeling like I knew the next step, some might the predictability unsatisfactory. Overall, it was a good story and decent start to the series and I would like to know what happens next.

10/10 would read again. I read this story and was immediately captured. It didn’t read cheesy at all, and at first I thought it would be like “the Knight before Christmas” on Netflix but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The amount of research that went into this book deserves so much praise. As a fashion historian I can appreciate all the details instead of the usual “the corset dress laced up the back” from other novels of this type. There’s no unnecessary love scenes, but you still root for the characters to end up together. I could go on forever about this book!

Review. I enjoyed the book and would read it again. It is really easy to like the characters. They are well developed by the writer.
