Amazing. I could not stop reading this book. The ending made me teary eyed. It was such a great story. The way everything tied in together.. it was just beautiful.

huh.. i think im the first person to not care for this book. no hate to the author at all. i didn't connect with the characters very much and it started really slow. wasnt a fan of the ending, seemed very rushed. so much lead up to a 5 page ending. i guess its so popular because it was trending on tiktok?

Destroyed me. Ot had me ugly crying like snot and tears breaking down after every 5 words. Beautiful<3

My only thoughts throughout the book (spoilers). If you didn’t see this has spoilers so continue if you are still reading the book - Throughout the entire book I was literally changing KISS KISS KISS and now I’m pretty sure I gave my mom a heart attack from how loudly I cheered when they did-

Wow.. I’ve never been one for sad books, but the cover was so articulate and full of meaning. Throughout the book I developed a sense of love, not in love though just longing. The book allowed me to have the emotion sadness but I didn’t shed tears. At least not till the very end. The experience of reading and picturing them falling in love with one other, simply because they were teaching each other how to live. However they weren’t simple at all. The time of love captured in 22 hours, that I truly dream of. After I finished the book, I silently cried. Sadness doesn’t grasp the emotions I portrayed after closing the cover. I was curled into a ball, shedding my salty tears. But the book is so deserving of my sadness, my longing. I plan on reading the second book as well. I’ll write a review too.

I LOVE IT. it’s a great book I loved how it went into other people lifes as well but only in a slight way not to much which I really enjoyed I love the relationship that is built between the two boys I fell in love with both characters so fast so by the ending I was literally sobbing. Great book would definitely read again for the first time if I could.

Touching, Emotional. Truly a good book. Many moments where I could feel the emotions as I was fully emerged into the events that took place. A pretty crazy adventure to say the least.

Slow but good. It was a little slow in the beginning but since the whole book is just one day, it makes sense. The title gives away the ending but i liked to see how it happened.

Good story,but a bit boring. It had a very interesting story but it was boring sometimes.I just wanted to put it down and go after another one.

I love this book SO MUCH!. I’ve read this book countless times, and no matter the “end spoiler” it doesn’t change it. The author Adam Silvera wasn’t looking at the end, but caring about the wonderful plot. SPOILERS (sort of) ! It’s heartwarming, queer, mysterious, dark, and beautiful mixed into 416 pages. Totally recommend. I know I’m a little late to the comments, but I LOVE THIS BOOK! My favorite book so far.

Sad but beautiful. As a person who doesn’t read as much as they should this book makes me want to read. I feel like nothing could’ve prepare me for the amount of shock I felt when it happened. This book is really sad (no doubt) but it’s also really wholesome and makes you think about all the opportunities you are given in your life time.

i am inconsolable. everyone in these reviews didn’t seem to enjoy this, but i really loved this book. they both die at the end really connects you to its’ characters in a short time, and gets you sappy and emotional while you read. the whole time you’re left thinking “man, i sure hope this title isn’t true!” it made me sob, and reading it again a 2nd time really shows you how much detail was put into this book. definitely recommend!

And throughout their time together, the anticipation of knowing whats gonna happen continued to make me finish the book. Amazing Novel. This book absolutely destroyed me emotional, makes me ugly cry every single time I read it. It has an intriguing and original plot and while there are some unexplained things, it makes sense for the most part since it is futuristic fiction. Highly recommend, but tissues needed.

Powerful Book!. This is by far one of the best books I have read in a VERY long time. It’s such a powerful book! It did cause a wild dream/nightmare about knowing it’s my last day. 🙈 It really makes you think about how short and precious life is and how you should live every day to the fullest with no regrets because it could be your last. This book made me happy, sad, nervous, and everything in between. I totally cried at the end and it’s not often a book has such an affect on me. I never wanted to put this book down and I was sad when it finally came to an end. I have a new favorite author. If you’re a book lover, I highly recommend you check this one out. I promise you won’t regret it!!

“He lived for everyone” -Mateo. Tears blur my vision as I write this. I cannot tell you how hard this story drop kicked my emotions into a boiling pot of pure misery and stirred it up while laughing. It was beautiful. It was devastating. Call me dramatic, but you aren’t the one still sobbing after finishing this work of art. My heart is shattered, my eyes are puffy with hurt. I’m reeling. If you have any doubts about buying this, let this be your sign. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Read this book NOW!. Where do I start… multiple POV, love that. There are a LOT and every single detail is important. Imagining this world isn’t difficult— it’s so similar to now, but everything and everyone seems to be ruled by death. The detail put into this book… I regret letting this book sit for so long in my TBR. Really, truly, PLEASE read this book. I struggling to find words. This was nearly an instant five star read for me.

Reading this book, I felt how my college professors must have felt reading some last minute paper I finished the night before. Sooo much filler it’s as if The author was trying to reach the minimum character count.

Best Queer Love Story. I absolutely adore this book. It is a very intricate story about two young men who find out they’re going to die, within the next 24 hours. Every person involved in this story is connected in some way, and you see their perspective as well. You read their thoughts, aspirations and feelings. While the title gives away the end, I suggest you submerge yourself into the amazing tale of two young men, finding each other. And their story of beauty and compassion.

Sobbing. this book- im not even sure it words can describe how its made me feel. I mean it’s brilliant and my heart has been torn out and stomped on by a giant dead elephant. worth the read, every second, word, and period is worth it. even though the title says it, I assure you, you will not be ready for when they both die at the end. <3

I couldn’t stop reading…. It was utterly fascinating to me. It’s the first book I’ve read in many years (I listen to my books now). It dives so deeply and quickly into your heart it takes your breath away. Please read this, and keep the tissues close.
