INFORMATIVE. This book was a gift from a family member, Cacciatore takes you on a journey of her loss, that is appreciated and heartfelt, however, she fails to admit how Divine Providence has sent her numerous signs of her loved one reappearing to her. Cacciatore seems to be ashamed to admit the power of the Almighty in her life, and how it has helped her with her tragic loss.
Beauty in grief. I lost my daughter on 2/8/17, she died at 18 years old. I have read many books since the week after my daughters passing but this book had a calmness and peace about it. This book is like no other book about grieving. I recommend this to the newly bereaved and onward. No explanation can explain such an exceptional book, you just have to read it.
More than I expected. I purchased this book to learn the best compassion methods for my friend who's son had died.
Excellent!!. So inspiring
Not what the book says it is. 5 chapters in and all the author choose to talk about was death of loved ones. I feel disconnected from the book because I am experiencing a different type of loss. I thought this book was supposed to be for grieving in general but it really seems to focus on just loss of life. Disappointed so far. May keep reading but I can’t focus if I feel this disconnected and misled.
