Pure perfection!. Beneath the Truth was a spectacular end to the Beneath Series. One moment I was on the edge of my seat, the next crying, to swooning. This has all the feels to the very end. Finally Rhett has his own book! It is beyond anything I expected. Throw in Ari, a smart mouth, sexy, brainiac and you have combustion. Their journey together isn't an easy one, but finally all the answers come out. Be prepared for a mix of emotions. I love this series, I can't wait to see what will be next.

Soooo Good!. Twist and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs...this book has it all. Another amazing journey by Meghan March. The last of the Beneath Series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I love the character development when read in order. A mystery...a love story...and some old friends along the way. One click away my friends! You won't be disappointed.

Loved it!!!!. Rhett hasn’t been back home in awhile but now he is because his family needs him. Ariel hasn’t seen Rhett in a long time and she has always had a big crush on him. Rhett is determined to find out what is going on with his family with some help from Ariel. Ariel and Rhett’s chemistry is so high and Rhett is determined to show her how much he wants her. There are a lot of obstacles that will stand in their way but Rhett will not let anything or anyone stand in his way. I really loved this book!! Rhett is the pure definition of an alpha. Rhett is determined to find out the truth about what has brought him back home. Never did he think that he would be drawn to his friend’s little sister. Ariel is definitely not the girl she once was and the feelings she had for Rhett are still there. I loved both of their characters and how they both were there for each other throughout the story!! I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read more!!!

Absolutely loved this one! A must read!!. Love, love, love this one!! Oh, Rhett!!! So sexy and alpha but with a code of honor. Ari is perfect for him, so smart, funny and a bad arse. This story will reel you in and hook you. Betrayal, lies and chemistry will have you devouring this book. A fabulous conclusion to this amazing series, and the epilogue, prepare to swoon!! I highly recommend this must read.

Sexy, suspensful and hot!. Megan March is quickly becoming one of my go to authors and with stories like this it is not hard to see why! Start with a sexy alpha male, ex cop. One who has some major demons in the form of family betrayal. Enter the sexy brainiac sister of his best friend and heat ensues. She never felt seen by her brothers best friend and he never felt he could cross that line, but times have changed and they are all adults now. Then mix in the Mexican Cartel, some dirty cops and the city of New Orleans and you have a few problems that need solving that will change both of their lives in significant ways. Can love bloom amongst all the chaos? I emplore you to pick this book up and find out for yourself. I promise you wont regret it! Suspenseful and Exciting Read!. This is my first book by Meghan March and I could not put it down! Rhett and Ari's story had the right amount of suspense and chemistry that will keep you hooked. Rhett is dealing with his demons of the past and Ari is also managing her own drama with the business empire that she's built. I highly recommend this book!

Rhett is wonderful. I have loved the Beneath series since i first got my hands on it over a year ago. I waited patiently for this book and it did not disapoint. I am a Rhett fan through and through . Rhett Hennessy was a police officer in a family of police officers and surrounded by police officers, until his whole belief in his family and world collapsed when his brother was killed in the line of duty and his father was fingered as a dirty cop. Next door neighbor, fellow police officer, and best friend, Heath comes back into the picture as does his little sister Ariel. Ariel has had a crush on Rhett since she was a little girl but thought she was never noticed by him because he always ignored her. The pair come back together through tragedy and battle some impressive odds. The chemistry, conversations, and mystery surrounding the pair is enough to keep you flowing through this book. I have yet to be disappointed by any Meghan March book and this one is FANTASTIC.. I was not expecting the twist at the end but man....takes your breath away. I love these characters and am very sad that the Beneath series is over but I am looking forward to reading all of her other books because she is a passionate writer who makes characters with depth and enough compassion to make you want to be apart of their lives. Read this book. I got this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Too much. I loved the mount trilogy and event the savage series... and LOVED THEM!!! This book was a little over the top with goriness !

Beneath this Farewell.. We're going to go on a bit of an adventure before this review. I started reading Meghan March's books after I had the awkward pleasure of meeting her ( I'm sure I creased a book of her's and said something weird cause hello its me and I say weird things daily.) she was at an Indie Author event in Michigan and I took a bookmark intending to stalk her in Facebook cause by this time I spent all my money and couldn't buy any more books. Well I forgot all about the bookmark and put everything from the event in a bag and it got lost in the chaos of my room. So fast forward a year or so later I was redoing my room found the bookmark and promptly stopped what I was doing and stalked her on Facebook. After about 5 minutes I bought the first book in the Beneath series and less then a week later I'd read all of the books that were out plus the two others of hers. I was excited by her writing and fell in love with the characters of her books. So when I found her group The Runaways I joined, and when she announced she was going to do a launch team I applied and somehow I got accepted into the group blessed enough to read ARC's. So now I have such respect and love for Meghan and her writing that when she told us Rhett was going to be the man to close out the Beneath series I was excited cause hello hot cop! And I was also kinda sad. I love these books and never wanted it to end. But with life good things must end for there to be great things in the future. And Meghan has some amazing and great things in her future. So we all know and swoon over Rhett Hennessy New Orleans finest, He has been threw a lot and for the last year after leaving the force and having his entire world flipped up side down he's been a nomad. But when thing go from bad to worse he runs back home and crashes into Ariel Sampson his best friends little sister, whom is no longer little. With secrets coming to light and threats being made Rhett will do everything to protect the only thing in his life that makes him happy, Ariel. With Rhett and Ariel being the final book to the series I think Meghan knocked it out of the park. If she ended it with Con or Lord I feel like it would have been unfinished feeling, but with Rhett being it, everything comes full circle. The group we all have come to love have all grown into something amazing. We get to see them all where they are at this point in their lives. Though I'm going to miss these books, they are on my re-read list forever. And this final good bye to the Beneath series was a great one. And this makes me more and more excited to see where Meghan takes us next. Loved this book, so hard.

Rhett Hennessy finally gets his say. 5 stars for - Beneath The Truth - book seven in the Beneath series by Meghan March. While this is the last book in the series it can be read as a stand-alone, but I implore you to read this entire series considering it is truly incredible work. Set in sultry New Orleans with it's rich history and beautiful architecture this is the story we have all been waiting for - Rhett Hennessy has finally come home. Ariel Sampson hasn't been home at all in the last few years instead she has been in California growing her business and becoming a huge success. While she has been extremely successful in her professional life, her personal life has never really taken off. The funny thing is - she has had a crush on her brother's best friend for as long as she can remember and he shot her down, but she can't seem to extinguish that torch. Even now seeing him again after all these years she can't help but get all those old feelings again. Rhett Hennessy left New Orleans after turning in his gun and badge determined to make changes in his life and come to terms with all the information he learned. He never expected to get a phone call from someone he trusts implicitly telling him of the emergency situation back home. When Rhett arrives he finds his life is in for another upheaval, but this time it's in the form of a beautiful woman with red hair that he promised to never make a play for, but they are adults now and all bets are off.  This book was everything you love about a book from Meghan March with danger and mystery at every turn and a alpha male who makes you swoon. The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seat all while building a smoking hot, insanely sexy romance between two people you hope find their happily ever after. While this is the end of the line for the Beneath series, March kicked open a brand new door to a whole new set of enticing characters in New Orleans and beyond. I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to read all about Mount!!!

Last time Rhett was in NOLA he found out everything he knew was a lie and turned in his badge. An accident brings him back to town and he is determined to find out the truth. Ariel Sampson is the sister of Rhetts best friend. She has been in love with him forever. However, she claims she is over him and has moved on. Betrayal and threats bring Rhett and Ariel together again. Will they survive what is in store for them? Will Ariel and Rhett be able to get past the ultimate betrayal of a loved one?

A stunning portrayal, and the perfect end to a fantastic series!. Beneath the Truth is the final in the Beneath series, but it can absolutely be read as a standalone. However, just a word of warning that you will want to start at the beginning after you finish! Beneath the Truth brings the former detective Rhett back to his hometown after a phone call summons him home. There, he runs into his best friend's sister, Ariel, which means she's supposed to be off limits. That being said, Ariel is sassy, super-smart, and sexy as hell. I love Meghan March's writing, it's potent and powerful, and Beneath the Truth has got to be one of my favorite of hers so far. It's seductive, twisting with secrets, and a great story. The ending is pure perfection. I cannot say enough good things about this book, you won't regret it!

We have caught glimpses of Rhett throughout the series and I couldn't wait to get my hands on his story. It was absolutely perfect. I could not put Beneath the Truth down. Rhett has met his perfect match. Ari, his best friend's little sister is beyond intelligent and quirky. You can't help but fall in love with her immediately. There are so many twists and turn throughout the book that kept me on my toes. I laughed, cried and hated for it to end! This is a must read!!!!!

Perfect ending to an amazing series!. I'm so sad to see this world come to an end but I don't think Meghan could've done a better job at giving this world the justice it needed. Rhett found the perfect match he'd been needing from the very beginning of the series. #TeamAwesome. They literally stole my heart from the very first line. And to get a glimpse of the other characters just made it that much better. Amazing story once again! Meghan never disappoints!

Going to NOLA one last time. I had always hoped this day would really never come. But it has and as sad as I am to see this amazing series end, I am just amazed and in awe of this book, Rhett Hennessy's, the last in the Beneath series. If you haven't started this series yet it's ok, you can still read this book. But if you want to find yourself in one of the most amazing cities with some amazing characters I recommend starting from the beginning, you'll be hooked on page one of Beneath this Mask! Now we find our former Detective Rhett Hennessy is being forced back to NOLA due to some tragic circumstances. And as much as he wants to get out of town as fast as possible, he needs the find done some truths before that can happen. So sticking around means he is forced to see the girl next door that he grew up with, his best friends sister, Ariel Sampson. Pretty soon getting Beneath the Truth is happening in his family and with Ariel. Enjoy this amazing final book in one of the best series I have ever read. Thank you Meghan March for giving me some amazing times in a city I love with this gang that I will never forget. And thank you for the perfect ending, I really couldn't have asked for anything more xx.

5 Truthful Stars!. Hands down one of the best books that Meghan March has written!!!! This book was magnetic, suspenseful and all the feelings. With her visceral prose, March has readers spellbound as layers of fourberie, mystery, truth and passion are beautifully interwoven giving the readers a full spectrum of March's ability to bring life and romance into a story. A must read!!!

Loved...perfect. I'm not even sure where or how to start here. This is the final book in one of my all time favorite series, and to say I got a bit emotional at times is an understatement. I've always loved Rhett, couldn't wait for his story. It was absolute bittersweet happiness to read this & completely fall in love with it. Rhett's story was more involved and intense, with the most perfect woman at his side. She's brilliant and fearless and has a whole other intense story going on. There were twists & turns, a lot of "oh my gosh" moments, betrayal, sadness, happiness & love. This had it all. And I mean EVERYTHING. There were tears here and there, but I'll warn you now. I was in full on tears, flowing freely and close to taking over, while reading the epilogue. There's so much I want to say, yet nothing I want to give away. I will say Thank You Meghan March, for the words, these characters, the stories, and this place I totally fell in love with. I loved this series so much, I can't wait to re-read them again. Straight on through lol. For everyone else, this needs to be bought and read IMMEDIATELY!!! Just do it!!! You definitely won't regret it

Beneath the truth. This was a story that I have been waiting. This is another version of falling for your best friends sister. But the love story between Rhett and Ariel did not drag on too much. In fact they got together pretty quickly. It was more a suspenseful story to find out who was stalking Ariel. It was a satisfying suspense story as well as a love story. The epilogue brough back several favorites from this series. I anxiously await the next series that Maggan March will write.

A definite must read. As if I couldn't love this series more, along comes Beneath the Truth. Rhett and Ariel were so perfect together. Ariel is the little sister of Rhett's best friend, Heath, and the three grew up together. I loved the mystery aspect of this book, the truth behind Rhett's dad. Although this was only the second book in the series I've read, I can't wait to go back and read the rest of them. This is one of my favorite summer reads.

Beneath Goodness!!. How do I begin to describe the feelings I got with this book showing up on my kindle, I had heart palpitations of the excitement and sadness of the series coming to an end. Rhett's story was something I've been waiting on for years how have three an a half years flown by I feel emotionally invested in every character of the Beneath series. Seriously I feel like I'm saying goodbye to friends, I'm crying (I might be a bit dramatic lol). I can tell you this is one of the few times I have been utterly shocked by a characters actions that I felt like I got slapped in the face. Ariel and Rhett are gah!! I can't with them, they might just be my favorite Beneath couples, seriously shhh don't tell Lucas. I want to talk about all the things that happen in this book, between Rhett and Ariel EVERYTHING!! But I won't because you need to find out for yourself what a prefect ending to this series Beneath the Truth is. The emotional ride you will go through will be one of the best things to happen to you. So go forth and read! This is a standalone and can be read as such but seriously do yourself a favor and start at the beginning with Beneath this Mask, and if you've never read a Meghan March book this is the series for you and you don't have to wait for the next book in the series because they are all out. This has been the best 3 and a half years of reading this series and the best conclusion.

Wow!. I don't even know what to say about this book except that it was perfect. I almost did not want to read it because I don't want the Beneath the series to be over. Hennessy is so swoon worthy and was worth the wait! We have all been patiently...ok not so patiently...for him to find his person. Let me tell you not only did he find her, but she was perfect for him. I loved everything about her. She was very independent, smart and awkward. Perfect! Run do not walk and get this book. Meghan outdid herself on this book.

Beneath these shadows. I loved this book, just the right combination of erotica,intrigue and romance.

I loved it!!. Beneath The Truth was an amazing book. It is my favorite book in the series. There's nothing not to love about Rhett Hennessy. The same can be said about our heroine Ariel. Both Rhett and Ariel are protective of those they love and are loyal and true. The chemistry between them has been building for years and is off the charts. To say this book is emotional is an understatement. There is so much "beneath the truth" that I don't even know what to say. Get ready for some shocking discoveries that will cause you to hurt for everyone. You are going to go on an emotional roller coaster, but you won't want to get off! Five fantastic stars!

Honored.... Definition of the word “honor” as provided by Merriam-Webster dictionary: a good name or public esteem; a showing of unusually merited respect; a person of superior standing; one whose worth brings great respect. I bring up these definitions because in so many ways, Meghan March book delves into the meaning of these words when she takes us back into New Orleans with Rhett and Ari in Beneath the Truth. In so many ways, this book hits on levels we all can relate to; the heartbreak of moving past the emotional shots to the heart, the ongoing residual burn of disappointment we feel when we’ve let our loved ones down, the agony of letting go bit by bit and realizing life and love are still waiting to be claimed. Meghan March does not let her readers down in any way with this emotional journey to end this series. This book is filled with “incidents” that will have you soaring with laughter and betrayals that will have tears on your face. And if we’re all lucky, the demonstration of family loyalty is setting us up for a spin off series where we will get to revisit some of these delicious characters from down South.

Meghan March took us on a wonderful journey with this series !! And it ended in a way I didn't know I needed.. those last couple pages. Just goodness. I loved it !! She is a phenomenal writer that never once has let me down.. she has a way of sucking you into a story and making you feel like your there .. these are your friends. You hurt when they hurt.. you share there joy and sadness. And the fact that there are hot men and woman that bring them to there knees only makes it better. I would recommend this series to anyone !!! I love how the characters are weaved in together .. each book could be read as a stand alone but once you read one and you meet some of the characters I can assure you that you will want to know there story to ! BRING ON MOUNT !! Yeah baby !!

Amazing!. 5 Stars Beneath the Truth by Meghan March is the seventh and final book in the Beneath series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first six because they are absolutely amazing! I was so excited to finally get my hands on Rhett’s story and Ms. March did not disappoint! From the characters to the plot-it had everything you'd come to expect from her. Without giving too much away, Rhett Hennessy is returning home after being away for quite awhile. With so much uncertainty in his life, he is definitely not looking for love or a relationship. But when his best friends little sister shows up, Rhett is unable to keep his distance. The fiery redhead is unforgettable but off limits. Will Rhett be able to see her in a different light? This book completely blew me away. Meghan March wrote an exceptional conclusion to one of my favorite series. It is so hard for me to put into words what this book and this series meant to me. I have loved every single thing about Beneath the Truth. The characters wormed their way into my heart. The banter between them had me laughing out loud and at some parts, had tears rolling down my cheeks. I felt each emotion they did. While I am sad to know the series has ended, I am looking forward to seeing what's next for Ms. March!

Emotional, yet beautiful ending. I can't even deal with the sadness in me knowing that our time with these sexy alpha men from New Orleans is over. Just when I thought everything was lost in Rhett's life a red flash came into his life and changed it for the better. Ariel Sampson, that cute "nerd" as some called her proved to be more than just a computer genius. She was someone's safe haven, a warm and welcoming place to be. Beneath the Truth is filled with twists and surprises, and I have to give it to Meghan March; she's outdone herself AGAIN!!! P.S. The epilogue killed me!! I loved seeing all of our New Orleans crew together. I really do hope we get to see them again.

Beautiful conclusion to a series. 5 stars does not do this book justice. Every time I read one of the books in this series I thought it was the best but hands down this one was the best. The story has the perfect love story built in with so many layers of twists and turns and then the can't be with best friend's little sister/big brothers best friend element and it is mind boggling. The betrayals and deceptions that Rhett and Ariel have to go through are amazing. This book had me in such a high and anxiously page turning to see what was going to happen next. When you purchase this book just block out your time as you will want to read this in one sitting. Loved every page

The Best. Rhett and Ari's story was worth the wait....Five Star. This book had a real coming home feel to it, not just Rhett and Ariel coming home but me as a reader too. These characters are so well developed, I love that they know each other so well even though they have been apart for a decade they can read each other's faces and thoughts. This is not a second chance book because they never got the first chance. Now is their time. I love that this book is not just a love story but about the love of family, blood related and related by heart. This is a fast paced book that keeps you turning pages filled with some angst, twists and turns and a mystery to be solved. I maybe loved this "Beneath" book the best because it is the last and I will miss these people. This is a must read.... Thank You Meghan March for sharing this cast of characters with me.

Five stars for this suspenseful and thrilling ride!. Give me Rhett! Wow, Meghan March delivers HUGE in the conclusion to the Beneath Series! When Rhett escaped NOLA a year earlier, he had no idea he’d be returning to deal with so much at once, shattered after learning some hard truths, but still wanting to know the answers to questions he’ll never be able to ask. But in the midst of his own personal turmoil, Ariel returns to town as well. A girl he’s always see, a girl that has always been off limits. Well, until he discovers how short life can be and that you sometimes have to go after what you want. For Ariel, she’s been in love with Rhett since she could remember, but he never seemed to notice her. She was just the nerdy sister of his best friend, but this time around she’s noticing his eyes linger a little longer than they ever did before. But it all must be in her head right? The man you lusted at for your whole life doesn’t just have a change of heart.... Now the Beneath Series consists of seven books that can be read as standalones and out of order. I am not usually one for out of order reading, but I came to this series late, and can say that it doesn’t ruin the experience at all. I do recommend reading them all because they are simply amazing. I wasn’t sure about Rhett when I dove into this. I liked him in the prior book, but I am that reader that only has eyes for the Hero of the moment and often times when I read, I avoid getting a case of the feels for a character by failing to notice that he’s attractive. But once I started, I was in loved. Rhett was a loyal hero that had a huge heart. His struggle with his family’s tainted legacy and how it impacted the way he viewed himself, all he worked for – it was heartbreaking. There wasn’t really a single thing about Rhett that I could fault with. Ariel. That chick. Loved her! She was quirky and unexpected. I loved the awkward moments and how she just said whatever floated through her head. I am a sucker for a friends to lover’s romance and an even bigger one for the best friend’s little sister trope.... those two together... I was in HEAVEN! Meghan March can write the heck of a story. In the midst of this uber sweet romance, we are tossed in with a suspenseful ride that was filled with twists and turns. There was nothing predictable about this story! If you love your heroine’s strong, your heroes yummy & protective, check this series out! Five stars for this suspenseful and thrilling ride!

Romance and Suspense. Beneath the Truth is the seventh book in the Beneath series. It can definitely be read as a standalone. I've only read 3 of this series so far, but haven't had any problem with reading them out of order. “Never be embarrassed about anything that happens when we’re together. This is as raw and honest as two people can get, and there’s nothing to be worried about." Rhett returns home after the death of his dad and tries to tie up loose ends and discovers even more things that don't add up. “Do I want to ask what you’re doing?” “Probably not.” “How many felonies?” “None, if I don’t get caught.” In Beneath the Truth, we get our awesome protective alpha, dirty talk to melt an e-reader, a sassy, strong independent heroine and tons of excitement and suspense!

Amazing. Meghan march takes us back to New Orleans in this final book in the Beneath series. This time it's Rhett's turn to find love. And Ari, his best friends little sister, is the perfect one for him. She's smart. She's funny. She's strong. She's sassy. She's exactly what he needs when he needs it. The story itself is intriguing. It's suspenseful. It's simply put amazing. What a ride.

Perfect ending!. A perfect ending to the Beneath series. I don't even know where to start with this book. This was a second chance love story mixed with suspense and mystery. This book grabbed me from the very beginning and never let go. Meghan March has once again out done herself with this one. I loved Rhett and Ariel's story. Ariel was a unique character and she made the story even better. We also have an opportunity to meet Mount (who is getting his own trilogy later this fall) in this book. And let me say, after just a few brief glimpses of him, I can't wait for his story!

Big red bow!. Wow what a way to end a great series! Just loved this series and didn't want Rhett's story to be the end of it. Meghan March not only delivered another fantastic book but she wrapped up the series in a big red bow with a phenomenal epilogue. Just wow!

Not my favorite. So this one wasn’t my favorite because the beginning started out super slow. I wanted to like these characters (Ari and Rhett) but I couldn’t. I did like how they gave you a glimpse of each of the other characters in the beneath series lives currently at the end. A phenomenal ending to this series!!!. Six angst filled stars for the final book in this series!! Wow. This book stands as my top read of 2017, by far. Very rarely does a book leave me speechless, in tears, feeling good, and heartbroken all at the same time. From sexy Rhett, who is battling demons from his past, to genius Ari, who has a bit of the "girl next door" vibe, with a hidden dirty side in her. This book drew me in from the beginning, and the twists and turns throughout kept me there. I wouldn't change anything about this book. And the ending was absolutely perfect, and I definitely shed a few tears at it. This is definitely a must read!!!

Finally, we have HENNESSY!. I had mixed emotions going into this book. It is the last book in one of my most favorite of all time series. I just didn't want it to end! But if you are going to go out, go out with a bang and that is what Meghan did with Hennessy and Arial! We all have been waiting to read Hennessy's story for awhile now. And while his story did not turn out to be my fave (He is no CON!) he definitely was worth waiting for. Once again Meghan gives us the super alpha hot hero and the sassy and strong heroine that we have all come to expect in her books. But, Ari had a naïve side that made her special. And getting to know Rhett's backstory showed us why he is the way he is and also showed that he had a more vulnerable side to him when it came to his woman. They where perfect for each other and it seems like they always had been - you will have to read the book to see what I mean by that. I am still going to hold out hope that this is not the last we read of these characters. There is so much more that she can do with them whether it be novellas, spin offs, etc. We know that she is not leaving NOLA from reading the preview for Mount at the end of this book. So who knows, hopefully we will read these peeps again!

Meghan March Final Beneath. This book is the last in the Beneath Series by Meghan March. It’s bittersweet to say the least because although we’ve been waiting for Rhett Hennessy’s story, it means the end of something a lot of us have been involved in since the beginning. Each book in the series gave us a unique look at a different couple; sexy Alpha men with sweet, sassy women. And in each book, Ms. March gave it her whole heart to make sure that their stories were true to the characters and their storylines. Beneath the Truth is no different. Rhett Hennessy, this man has been through so much. Losing his oldest brother in the line of duty, the rumors that circulated about his brother and his father being dirty cops, it got to be too much, and so he turned in his badge. Stumbling through his life away from NOLA, only one thing could bring him back. He got the call and he was back. Ariel (I’m going to step away from this review for a second and tell you how much I love this name. The reason that she was named it is so sweet and heartbreaking) has been in love with Rhett for as long as she can remember. Having returned to NOLA after coming into her own, she is no longer the nerdy little girl. But, as his best friend’s little sister she was “hands off” for Rhett. This story, ARGHH. SO GOOD. Ms. March has shown us again and again that she has the tools to deliver not only the book we want but the book we need. Her skills give us everything and more in each and every story and as a fan I am thankful. I’m truly sad that this is the end of the series, but thankful that I was able to take pleasure in the entire series.

Beneath the Truth. This has to be my most favorite book in the series. Loved the suspense and mystery and how we got to see glimpses of all the previous characters. You rocked it out of the park!

Beneath series. Got one book free and bought the whole series. I generally enjoyed them all. Had a bit of a problem with this one tho (“Beneath the Truth). When trapped in a panic room after learning ur life is imminent danger, having a gratuitous sex scene rather than strategy and action seems the wrong way to go. Just saying......couldn’t even bring myself to read the scene because it was just SO out-of-place. I I can get behind the “life affirming need for sex” in other books but this chapter reads like a cheap porn. I’m disappointed because this author is better than that. In retrospect, I would still purchase this series. Overall it was engaging and entertaining. I enjoy characters that I can “adopt” into my fantasy family. I enjoy humor, quirks and thrills. This series does deliver.

Truths Are Revealed. What a fantastic ending to a beloved series! Meghan March brought it home with Beneath the Truth. This book also makes for the perfect standalone. There's a little bit of everything in this book. A suspenseful romance with twists and turns throughout. I especially enjoyed the character development of Rhett and Ariel. Smart and witty characters who aren't afraid to be honest and vulnerable. Meghan March really poured her heart and soul into developing these characters throughout the years. As hard it is to say goodbye, you will love how this book ends. Thank you Meghan for sharing your Beneath world with us!

Amazing ending.... Saving the best for last. Going out with a boom. It's sad to say goodbye to the Beneath world, but Rhett Hennessy and Ariel's story was the perfect conclusion. He has been part of this series since the beginning and I waited, sometimes impatiently, for his story. Heartwarming and intriguing! This book can be read as a standalone, but you ABSOLUTELY need to read this whole series!

Favorite Beneath book. Definitely my favorite Beneath book. This book touches on the importance of family and loyalty. Whose in your circle, who you think you can trust. Hennessy fights himself, and others, to prove a few things. I was so excited to ha e read this book, even though I didn’t want it to end.

What a roller coaster ride!. MG this story just drags you in! Definitely a standalone (first I'd read in the series), but now I am going back to read the rest! March is very adept at building both her characters histories and the storyline. Just when I was wondering if it was the end of the story, she throws in a twist! And she is not done there! Many twists and turns, but the relationship with Ari and Rhett stands at the center and endures. I loved how they had known each other for years, each had feelings for the other, but the relationship developed at just the right time. It was awesome to see how a relationship could be the cornerstone when there are problems. And how each came to depend on the other and they were able to support each other and give encouragement. A truly rounded relationship!

Amazing. After being in major book funk I knew that this book would help free me. I love Meghan March's writing, its so free and effortless, the short chapters flow with each word that pulls you in and unwittingly making you fall in love. Since this is only the second book of the series I've read, I believe we meet Rhett in the pervious ones, but it doesn't deter from he story and I'll be reading those books I've missed as, while it's a series, it can be read out of sync. And as standalones. I love friends/to lovers and sibling and friends stories and this is one of my favourites. Rhett is returning home from a year away, but what he doesn't plan for is fate leading him to temptation, that up till now he's always been able to resist, Ariel, his best friend sister. Rhett is home to deal with family issues and he encounters Ariel after not seeing her for years. I loved Rhett, I mean how could you not. As for Ariel she was a unique heroine, brains, beauty, yet naive. She's loved Rhett since she was little and while she's never forgot him over the years, she's put her feelings aside as he'll never see her as more than his friends sister. This story saw the ending of the series, but boy did it go out with a blaze, it has everything we've come to expect from Ms. March and more. Beneath the Truth is exactly that, but nothing is expected. I love the way you get hooked and this why I'm going to read the other books, as I started this series later, but believe me these books are amazing. A must read series not matter where you begin.

Love Rhett!!!. This is the best ending to a truly brilliant series. I have been looking forward to Rhetts story since he was first mentioned in the books and the story did not disappoint. Both characters are very likeable and considering we hadn't met Ariel before, I took to her straight away. It's a really gripping story and that epilogue just finishes the series off perfectly! I'm sad the series is over but I can't wait to see what's next from Meghan! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Brilliant conclusion to an amazing series. This is the final standalone book in the Beneath world of New Orleans and wow what a way to go out. Yes, it can be read as a standalone but you will want to check out the rest of the series to check out the dynamics and stories of the other characters you meet throughout. Totally loved Rhett Hennessey, he was totally hot and swoon-worthy! Your heart broke for him in the situation he found himself in, the truth he was trying to find. I was glad he found happiness with the girl next door Ariel, they were so beautiful together. Their love was unexpected and beautiful in the chaos that surrounded them. Meghan sure knows how to end a series with a bang! She writes brilliant books that is full of heart and soul, that has you completely addicted from beginning to end wanting to devour each word written and feeling all the emotions along with the Rhett and Ariel! Sad to see this amazing series end but I am looking forward to seeing what new beauties she brings us.

Rhett and Ariel winner winner. My super power is being able to sniff out a bad cop. The police would do well to give me a job and I would clean them up in no time. Confession, I haven't read all 7 Beneath books. I read Bishop's book and absolutely loved it, spending an inordinate amount of time looking for tattooed, long haired giants on Pinterest. I'm in the camp that agrees you don't need to have read all of the series to enjoy the books. Rhett named after one of sexiest book/film characters ever and Ariel named after my favourite Disney princess - truly a combination made in heaven. She's all nerd girl brainiac with a childhood crush and he's all brooding badass. There's lots of action from exploding houses to dodgy Mexicans. I needed a lie down with a margarita when I got to the end. And oh the ending! Even without having read all 7 I can confirm the ending is just a great conclusion.

Great Read. This was the final book in the Beneath Series and it went out on an absolute high. This is noted as book 7, however, this can comfortably be read on a stand alone basis. This was a really gripping story; it's a suspenseful romance and I was kept on my toes all the way through with all the twists and turns that this story has. The suspense element was a real high and wasn't overshadowed by the romance which also didn't disappoint. The characters were really endearing and had me routing for them. There was plenty of emotion and hot moments in this book too. This was a really enjoyable book and a great series overall. This is definitely one that I would recommend. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation.

Cracking end to the series. Meghan March really does know how to end a series, this book has got it all. Hot romance and a mind blowing plot! Rhett is the ultimate alpha, he's everything you want and need in a man and he's not afraid to show his feelings. Ariel is just divine, she's a strong women with a heart of gold. These two couldn't be a better match. They both have a strong work ethic and are loyal to those they love and will do anything to help them regardless of he situation. The plot itself is full and complex and I definitely recommend going in blind. There's so many twists and turns Meghan really does keep you on your toes. We get to catch up with previous characters which is alway a must when a series is ending and it's done perfectly. Normally when a series ends I'm full of questions about other characters but this is done so well your left completely satisfied. Well done Meghan, you couldn't of done a better job!

Stupendous, that's how you end a series. If you’re going to end a series, you must do it justice and I feel Meghan most certainly did. I’m not sure I can articulate how great this book is she went above and beyond. You can tell she put her heart and soul into it, it was phenomenal. The epilogue was so cleverly written tying all the characters together, it will make you what to read the series all over again. Bravo, take a bow Miss March this book was stupendous.

Ariel was a tech savvy chick, that knew her way around but she always had a thing for a cop she knew. A beautiful man, alpha man. Seeing each other again, only made things hotter they wanted each other and needed each other, will the big brother approve of them. When the ex comes back to get her, Rhett will do very thing to protect from him no one will harm or touch his red. Amazing!. Where to start on this amazing book! What a perfect end to one of my favourite series! I've been looking forward to Hennessy's story since back when Beneath These Chains released. An excellent story filled with twists and turns that will keep you hooked, you won't want to put this book down! Rhett and Ari are the perfect pair, so much history and chemistry! I love how strong Ari is, how she values herself, refreshing compared to so many books nowadays. And the epilogue! Just freaking loved it! Im sad that the series is finished but it will always be one of my favourites so I'm sure I will revisit it often!

I had tears in my eyes beginning of this final chapter in Meghan March's wonderful Beneath series, I'd been waiting for Hennessy's story so patiently, and so it was no surprise really that I'm now bawling like a baby having finished it! The ultimate hero and true representative of the spirit of Meghan's New Orleans, Rhett Hennessy comes home to tragedy, more questions and an intense renewed passion that sets the stage for a fast paced and gritty finale that absolutely hits the mark! Ariel is a delight and a worthy match for her complex dirty talking former detective and their chemistry is smoking hot!! Throw in a return of all our favourite alphas for delicious cameos and this has to be the most superbly crafted finale to a series I've ever read! Bravo Meghan March, I'm ready for you to take me on another journey now but I will be back to revisit all your men from Beneath soon!

Fantastic finish to this series. I received an advanced readers copy of Beneath The Truth and this is my voluntary and honest review. Feels like Rhett has been in our lives for such a long time and during the past 6 books life hasn't always looked so favourably on him. When Rhett has to return to New Orleans the one woman he has been trying to stay away from most of his life due to honour and loyalty is now there at every turn and he is not sure he can walk away from Ariel this time. Beneath the Truth will have you guessing right up until the end as to what is really going on. There are so many secrets and so many lies that have been told that ultimately Rhett has to try and get beneath it all to find the truth. Sometimes all those things that you only saw in black and white and the rules and morals that you followed might just have to be thrown out the door and lines might just have to be crossed. This book is so full of emotion and love and is like being reunited with a long lost family member. At times this story will have you smiling and laughing with some of the things that Ariel just pops out with. Rhett Hennessy is one hot alpha who will have you all worked up and falling in love with him. This book wraps up the Beneath the series and has one of the most beautiful and heart warming epilogues that just might have you getting a little teary.

Truth!. Wow. What a book to end a series. FAN-FRICKEN-TASTIC!!! On one hand I am so stoked to have read them all, on the other, so sad the ride of the Beneath Series has come to a close. I have been captivated and enthralled right from the first page of the first book, and every book after. The mystery, the intrigue, the friendships, the drama, the love. Spectacularly Written. The moment this book landed on my e-reader, my new life's mission was clear. Abandon current read and dive into Beneath The Truth. Long ago Rhett Hennessy found a special home in my heart and I've been patiently waiting for him to get his happily ever after. I wasn't about to wait a second longer to find out what was in store for him. In true Meghan March fashion, this story started out with a bang and unfolded into everything I could ever ask for, and plenty of other things I couldn't have ever thought to ask for. It's like waking up on Christmas morning full of anticipation, eager to open all the gifts, but careful not to rush because you don't want to miss anything. After all, the anticipation is half the fun. Then basking in the joy of the gifts, but not because of the "things" that they are, but what they represent. The heartfelt emotion that comes when someone gives you something with so much thought and purpose, and you wonder if anything anyone ever gives you again could ever measure up. Once again Meghan has delivered a spectacular story overflowing with tension, drama, suspense and heartbreak. It was so intense! It was like being forced to the edge of a cliff, and just when you think you're going to go over the edge, you are mercifully pulled back to safety. There is certainly no shortage of clever and shocking twists. Of course there is a scorching chemistry between Rhett and his feisty and brilliant heroine, Ariel. Meghan always delivers in spades in the chemistry department. It made my heart happy that she was someone that Rhett already knew and wanted, but never allowed himself to have. Beneath The Truth left me with a feeling of bittersweet satisfaction. The Beneath Series was my introduction to Meghan's books and from the very first book I was in insta-love with her writing and characters. I'm currently suffering an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and I'm not really ready to let go of series. Thankfully her books are truly the kind of gift that keeps on giving and I'm looking forward to going back and reliving them all over again soon.
