Enjoyable read with familiar characters. This addition to the WAGs series is an enjoyable read. Some favorite characters from previous books are back which is fun. The premise of the book is an interesting one...who wouldn't love to have a FETCH of their own?! Matt is heartbreaking in his guilt and lack of self-esteem vis-a-vis relationships. Hailey is a little too neurotic for my taste and at a couple points in the book I really needed it dialed back. I seriously wanted to throat punch Kara and it grated that Matt was way too spineless in dealing with her...just didn't work for a hockey player. The element with the former father-in-law had more potential but it flashed and burned too quickly. A few editing errors that should be taken care of (playing Buffalo but refer to Dallas goalie as an example.) Overall a very enjoyable read that inspires the emotions I always get from these authors. Will look forward to the next in the series. 4.5 stars.

Stay. Super cute and funny. Easy read. Loved the banter. A lot more realistic than most books. I can see a whole series with some of the side characters. The sexual tension and build up was on point.

Terrific second chance at finding love story!. This is the second book in this series and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. I love sports romance, but hockey sports romance is my favorite! I couldn’t get enough! I loved the idea of Fetch, the virtual assistant service that Hailey co-owns with her ex-husband. I know awkward, but they had a very different relationship. They were childhood best friends that were comfortable together and then one thing led to another and they felt that the love they had for each other was enough so they got married. There really wasn’t any spark in their marriage. They were comfortable, until it didn’t work anymore. Hailey was devastated by the break up, but it just wasn’t working, she knew it wasn’t going to work, but it still hurt when Jackson wanted out. Matt Eriksson’s story is heartbreaking as the truth comes about his marriage. He took the blame for the ending of his marriage, but there is so much more than he could ever know. Hailey has a client Sniper87 that she has had a business relationship with for over a year and she has her suspicions that he is her fantasy man, Matt Eriksson. He has depended on Fetch for many of his needs and he is fascinated by the person he is messaging with. When he finally gets to see Hailey, via web cam, he can’t resist offering her hockey tickets and the chance to meet her in person. Hailey is a mess! She gets so nervous around Matt that she gets tongue tied and just blunders her way through. He finds it adorable. They both have baggage from their previous relationships, he has twin daughters and the ex-wife from hell. Can they actually pursue a relationship when both of their relationships failed? Well you are going to have to read the book to find out. This book has lots of laughs, great feels and a slow burn romance that catches fire! There is so much to this story that I loved! They took their time to get to know each other. Matt pursued her and was caring and attentive. I loved the story, the characters, the great secondary characters and all the laugh out loud moments. I highly recommend this second chance at love story!

Annoying. Clearly neither of them are ready for a relationship. This is a romance book so I don’t know why we spend so much time reading about the main characters divorce.

Sexy and Sweet. Oh my heart broke for Matt in the book. His horrible ex wife has made him feel like the end of their marriage was all his fault. He believes this so deeply that he is afraid to try again but then he has been having this fun and flirty relationship with a virtual assistant he calls Hottie who just so happens to be Hailey. Hailey loves hockey and is shocked when her favorite player wants to take her on a date. Recently divorced her confidence has taken a hit. The two are finally able to help each other see that they are worth trying again.

Exactly what I needed & wanted - a sweet, funny, & low angst romance!. I love the writing duo of Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy! Stay was one of my most anticipated reads and it didn't disappoint! We met Matt Eriksson in book 1 of the WAGs series, Good Boy, and now we get his backstory and the details of how (and why) his marriage fell apart. Stay is book 2 in the WAGs series and can be read as a stand alone, but characters from previous books do appear in this interconnected series. I truly enjoyed this low drama romantic comedy. The authors have an amazing sense of humor and I love all the witty banter and innuendo between the characters. This is a series where I love the hero and heroine, just as much as the supporting characters. The families, bromance, and sisterhood are all incredible and I love how supportive and caring all the characters are (especially the WAGs). Matt and Hailey both have baggage from their divorces and struggle with their confidence. I loved that they were both more mature and settled in their lives and how they each helped bolster the other and bring out sides to them that they didn't know were there or that have been dormant for a long time. Matt and Hailey's struggles are relatable and realistic. They're not perfect and they make mistakes, but at the end of the day they recognize that they like the people that they are when they're together. Having amazing chemistry doesn't hurt either and I FLOVED Matt's "coaching" ;) Stay was exactly what I needed and wanted - a sweet, funny, and low angst romance. The chapter titles are the best and I loved catching up with the characters we already know and love like Wesmie, Blake, Jess, and of course, Mama Riley. I can't wait for more books in this series and I'm hoping the team's resident manwhore, OC, gets his story next!

Better and better! The second book does not disappoint. Loved this book! It's so much fun to get to know Matt Erickson's story and have all the old favorite characters mixed in. Write the next series book soon!

SO IN LOVE!. While I really enjoyed the first book in this series...this one by far is my ABSOLUTE BEST! Based on Good Boy I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like Matt's story, but wowza....it was singe worthy! A true and epic love story from beginning to end! So much fun catching up with Wesmie, Blake, J-Babe, the WAGS and other players. I'm hoping O'Connnor's story is next to include the new skate instructor...HINT...HINT! Fantastic read!

Maybe. This book is #2 in the WAG's series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading series in order. Matt has had a rough time with his divorce. Taking a chance again seems far away. Then he finds himself attracted to the app agent he chats with. Could she be someone he could learn to care about? Hailey has always been a big fan of Matt and his hockey prowess. Is it possible that getting to know him could make her feelings stronger? There is certainly sparks a flyin'! This series is so much fun! Every book brings laughter and heat and this was no exception. I cannot wait to see what is next! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Swoon, swoon, and more swooning!. Holy character development. This book was such a cute and inspiring read it made every part of me melt. First we have Hailey, an almost 30 year old, somewhat newly divorcée who lost all of her edge and spark after the divorce, becoming engrossed in work and never thinking about relationships. Then we have Matt, another newly divorcée who thinks he's unloveable and awful when it comes to relationships because he ex wife decided to tell him that constantly. When the two find each other, it's a strictly business relationship but when feelings get involved, they slowly begin to unravel for each other and learn so many new things about each other. I loved seeing how they both went from closed off, not truly happy people, to vibrant, confident people all with the help of each other. And of course getting glimpses of the characters from the HIM/US series, as well as Good Boy was the icing on the cake.

Sweet & Sexy. Hailey and Matt are great people. They're kind and down-to-earth. She's a business owner, and he's a professional athlete. Wealth and celebrity status don't play much of a role in their lives. Friendship and family are the center of this story, and the love of hockey of course. Matt is divorced. He thinks that because of the demands of hockey on his life and time having a steady relationship isn't available for him. Hailey is also divorced. She and her ex realized they're really just friends. She's never felt that romantic spark and doesn't know if it will ever happen. Hailey and Matt are absolutely the perfect match for each other. She's almost as into hockey as he is, and he brings out her sexy side. All the supporting cast are awesome. If you read Good Boy or Him and Us, you'll be happy to see some of the previous characters make appearances. I really enjoyed Stay. The romance is mature (no manufactured drama), realistic and very hot. I recommend it.

Loved it. I love this duos writing as individuals they are great writers but when they join forces they become brilliant !! Stay is book 2 in the Wags Series but it could be read as a standalone, this book has it all a hot hockey player who also happens to be a single father of twins ..... Matt is separated from his wife and nothing is more important to him than spending time with his daughters, he earns his living as a hockey player but it's being a father not the Hockey player that makes him the man he is. Hailey is a sassy business owner who loves her job, she has a customer service company where people request what they need through her app and she sources the goods and gets them delivered. Time spent on the road away from his girls does not sit well with Matt so how can he also find time for a relationship with Hailey...... This book has a sweet storyline, the characters are easy to love and what can I say about two adorable little girls with some perfect one liners. One of the things I love about this book is a fathers love for his daughters and that comes through in every chapter. This is a beautifully written story that's about family and friendships and let's not forget it's also hot !!! I can't wait for more from Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

Stay. Loved this book. Matt was such a great character to read about and I found that I got very involved with the story, I even had a few tears. Love this series can't wait wait for more.

Another great read. I love this authors writing, it's sassy, funny and the characters are totally loveable.....great storyline, not so infantile.

Perfection!. Another amazing read and glimpse into this wonderful world of love these two write so beautifully! It's hard not to fall in love with Matt and to want the best for him and Hailey, even if you know there has to be something that will try and rip them apart. But love rules, as much as hockey does! Hopefully there'll be more to come from this verse!

Stay. Well that was unexpected. I loved it. It was full of real life. Funny, complicated and even sexy. There were multiple levels that the characters connected on and still had some sexy panty-melting parts!! I think it is an art to write in this genre and still be able to write a story connected to all the naughtiness!! This book does that. I was laughing out loud and really just enjoyed the read. Thank you~

Matt & Hailey. Enjoyed reading Matt and Hailey’s story. I liked how they both came from relationships that did not work, but they manage to still create something beautiful and lasting between them.
