I love this series and this author!!!. I am not writing a review on Wicked, as I have not read it yet but I just finished Diabolical, the third book in the series and before I even read the fourth and most current one, I just wanted to give praise for Jana Deleon and her amazing writing skills! I am a huge fan of thriller/mystery/suspense/crime novels and I've read hundreds. So I consider myself a good judge for book reviews, especially in those genres. I was of course skeptical upon reading the first book in the Shaye Archer series simply because I had never read anything by this author before. And I felt she had big shoes to fill after so many jaw dropping books I've read. But after book one, I was hooked. I love Jana's writing style and I'm attached to the Shaye and Jackson story! Anyway, I just wanted to note this because for book worms like me, it's always exciting to find a new author that we love. I think it also speaks volumes that of all the reviews on this series, it got an average of 5 stars! Nobody has given her less than 4 stars. That says a lot! I've actually never seen that before. I've read the first three books in two days, and about to read the last one. I know I'm going to be itching for a follow up number 5 when I'm done!!

I am soooo hooked. I have enjoyed the whole series. So many twist and turns. I am Very glad Shaye and Jackson are finally getting close. Please keep writing them.

Too much back referencing. Really enjoyed the first three books. However it was very distracting in this book the way that huge amounts of prior history was woven into the plot. Having read the other three books did not need to read what happened in them, and worse read it as a description not as a piece of action.

Good book ....but. the story lines are starting to get to similar & formatted.

Another outstanding instalment in the Shaye Archer series!. Suspense,twists & turns & wonderful character development,Jana De Leon never disappoints.Her writing style is absorbing & realistic. If you like characters with depth,flaws & likability you can do no wrong in reading her books. I highly recommend this book,this series & any other stories Jana is linked with.A truly outstanding author.

Shaye Archer series. Since there are no Jana DeLeon swamp series to read I started reading this one. I ended buying and reading all of them. Now I have to wait for the next one as this is another great read! Authors to us books readers are like gods as they are such a big part of our lives. Big hugs and praise for sharing your stories with the world!

Another Great Book. I have gotten hooked on to these books. I started reading them maybe a week or so ago and I’ve already finished this. I love the characters and really enjoy the mystery. I found this book did not have as insane of a plot as the last three books have and I did anticipate the big reveal but it was still very good and I liked the build up. All I would say is I’ve begun to catch on, which wasn’t a case for the past books, so I guess that means I’m getting accustomed to the formula the author uses so if it continues for the next few books I think the repetitiveness would make it a little boring but I’m still reading them. Even if they’re repetitive, it’s consistently been interesting and hard to put down.

Tiresome. DeLeon has found a formula. It never changes. After three novels I can’t take any more. Some originality is needed.
