One of my Fav series. Absolutely adore these books I discovered them in 8th grade and am still reading them to this day I’m 26 now lol

Lost some of the charm. I was a huge fan of the House of night books as a kid, but I find that I just don’t enjoy the new books at all.

I LOVED this!. I have read this book three times now. I am so happy with this continuation! ❤️ I’m so excited to see where it’s all headed! And don’t listen to these people who can’t understand that it’s a book. It’s literally fictitious. In my opinion, the characters have matured and become what I’ve always pictured they’d be like! Thanks you so much!

Disturbing and not as good as other books. Wow. There is so much I could say. It was so disturbing how little empathy for life the characters in this book showed. Nearly 100 people in Tulsa are brutally murdered by a mistake the hero's of the book create and they show virtually no sympathy and are constantly cracking jokes are held 100% unaccountable for their actions and are able to sit around eating popcorn and watching finding Nemo 24 hours later. The plot was bizarre... there was so much repetition it hurt my head. Every single time someone spoke you had to listen to all 7 characters interrupt in their own signature style... did PC cast maybe take into account her readers aren't in middle school/high school anymore? Half the book felt like a sermon on depression and not committing suicide, yet ironically we say goodbye to all the characters as they toast Aphrodite's mother's death from an overdose. I really enjoyed the first series and was excited to read this book... sadly it felt like a poorly written piece of fan fiction and the inhumane way the characters reacted in the face of mass massacre was very distasteful. There were no hero's in this book.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This continuation is clearly a cash grab. I wouldn't say the writing is bad in and of itself. The problem is the story. This makes no sense in context of the original series. The final book wrapped up things perfectly and this continuation is undoing what was wrapped up.
